  1. Defilippo would be great if he doesnt get a HC gig somewhere. Other than that, I don't know all the names of whos out there but we need a QB whisperer for our shiny new QB next year. Me? Was great at madden '95 on my IBM....
  2. I totally agree. There will be calls for his firing, but I bet he's here through 2020 at least.
  3. If we won people would probably do it. But we lost, so the vast majority of fans don't want to hear about the Bills until the draft. And they certainly won't be whipping out the pocketbooks.
  4. You (and leonard) are right, the snow is not as bad as folks would like to think, but that snow game will perpetuate the sentiment. Fine with me, if you don't come here because you can't handle to cold then just stay the hell away anyway. We havebthe best fans in pro sports, and theres no wonder why once players get here they want to stay. Unless, of course, you are just in it for the cash or you are a flatline, disinterested corner allergic to tackling.
  5. This. I get wanting to throw to a 70 foot tall receiver, but 3 runs from the 1 gets in more often than not.
  6. I'm not in love with that list, aka not a big fan of the vet route. But of those options Smith and Cousins are just about tied in my book. Cousins I think is a little better, and is younger, but will require rediculous cap hit. I voted for Smith because he wont cost that much and we can still draft a rookie.
  7. Sounds like he's saying wait until he has a good roster and see that he can do, since he got this lowly roster to the playoffs with some luck, but also with heart, teamwork, and grit. This is step one. They traded everyone away and cut the cap, now let them get the players and build the team. Getting to the playoffs gives McD credibility in the locker room, and gives his process (at least perceived) legitimacy. He will be given years to enact his vision. For once we will get to see it play out and not just fire him after year 2.
  8. I just don't believe you are a fan of the Bills. Maybe Marrone is a better coach, too early to tell I would say, but that's certainly not the reason they won. You want to use a bunch of carrots, how about Jags roster >>>>>>> Bills roster. Pretty simple.
  9. With 3 mins left there I believe that was a 4th and 10 or something like that. If you aren't moving the ball well and are successful on defense I think punting is the right call. For real. He is usually good and had a few clunkers today
  10. I don't hate Peterman at all. I do hate it that he throws a pick seemingly every time he drops back. And that is a tendency that QBs don't normally dramatically improve on.
  11. Smith 4000 yards, 67.5% completion %, 26 TD, 5 INT Tyrod 2700 yards, 62% completion, 14 TD, 4 INT Pretty obvious. 1300 more yards, almost double the TDs, and only 1 more INT. I'm not "on the smith bandwagon", but he's better than Taylor
  12. I haven't watched Jags games. i didn't realize how terrible they are on offense. I kept hearing "number 1 rushing team" amd all about foutnette, buf it turns out he averages less than 4 per carry amd they only are number 1 because hackett only calls runs. If it wasn't for Bortles going extra-curricular scrambling, they would not have had more than (if even) 3 points. Their defense is real, but thats all there is down in J-ville.
  13. Yup, this game was out there for the taking. Jags are toast in the next round. There is a chasm between the top tier teams and Bills/Jags right now.
  14. I love Shady, but we do need young blood at RB. Should get a whole new offense this year if I get my wish from the OC, to the QB, RB, and WRs. I would keep Shady but not put the franchise on his back.
  15. If you hold a playoff team to 10 points, you should have won. Defense played tough, and beside the Bortles scramble their offense did little to nothing. Offense was the issue. Real QB please
  16. I hope some kind of numbers get released. Looked like a ton of blue and red out there
  17. Nothing about Tyrod is a luxury. And though I do agree you can do worse, we have the cap flexibility and draft capital to get a real QB, so we HAVE to try.
  18. This season was a resounding win for the process And 2 of the most memorable moments of my fanhood with the snow game and miami/dalton miracle
  19. This game proved neither offense belongs in the playoffs.
  20. Oh no. Hope Tyrod is OK. Would be a hell of a story if Peterman wins this though
  21. This is what seems to be the popular choice. I would be ok with that depending on what we give up. He threw for 4000 yards and only had I think one more INT than Taylor.
  22. Anything other than a 3 and out or turnover here and we are on the ropes.
