  1. Indy, and it's not even close. Nothing better than a deep snow game and a W. Non Bills game, obviously Cincy/Balt
  2. We'd have to give him the bulk of money next year. I'm sure he will be looking for a big signing bonus. I imagine he will get it. I would love to see him in Bills colors, but I'm not going to spend much time thinking about it.
  3. I'm glad you know what I would think. I did not present a double standard, nor did I allude to one. Note I said Kaep "looks an awful lot like a clown". See what I did there? He actually looks more like the squid from spongebob, but funny looking anyway. I specifically did not take a position on Kaep. Yet, you classify me as "sheltered". That's a good one. Please stop claiming to know anything about me. News flash: you don't. You're second sentence was my actual point, though you missed it. I don't care what anyone thinks, this includes Rosen, Allen, Kaep, and Bosa.
  4. I hate this. You don't give in to these types of shenanigans. Now they set the precedent that you can just get out if you think you should get paid more. He just signed the contract and has yet to even have a practice or game since. Thwy should yave forced him to be retured or show up to camp. Then if he mans up and shows, you work with him to get him what he wants if possible provided he can act like an adult. Kind of rediculous that it sounds like parenting advice, but that's where we are. It's not about richie, it's about future contracts. So much for accountability.
  5. The only thing that is tough about that much cap space is you have to land a top tier/elite guy or else you end up paying Derrick Dockery or Charles Clay waaayyyyy too much. I have faith in The Beane, but he will be in another pressure cooker next year.
  6. This is a great stat to do well in... ...so, is it an outlier, or is that 56% the outlier? Definitely speaks to good decision making. We know he has the arm. Release time is already elite. Looks like Josh's pro career is going to hinge on his ability to get significantly better with his footwork -and make it second nature.
  7. I saw that article, but wonder what exactly he will do here given the title he held there. Or maybe it's just a foot in the door of the NFL for him.
  8. Yeah, don't get me wrong DPG... He looked awesome at times. I think the negative runs are a sign, however. It wasn't even particularly the fact he was taking negative runs (happens with his style), but the sudden increase in negative runs, and the fact that they are getting larger losses. There were just too many -10ish yard rushes. That's a drive killer. Imo his "quickness" isn't where it used to be, but his mind still thinks it's there, causing him to do more horizontal running looking for that homerun. I would love to bring in a complimentary guy (maybe on the roster) that can share carries with him. I think in a MJD/Fred Taylor type backfield could increase Shady's value and extend his career, but I don't see him taking the pay cut he would likely have to take to stay here beyond this year.
  9. I suppose the bolded is why we differ on this. I thought, several times last year that McCoy looked to have lost a step. That aside, my real premise is based on that huge money for a 30+ RB with declined production (despite the reasons). On it's face it just doesn't seem feasable.
  10. I don't agree with this. No signs of slowing down? He has seen a jump in runs that go for negative yards, and it's not because he's doing anything different. It's because he is doing everything the same, but is no longer faster than everyone else. He now gets injured more often, a telltale sign of "slowing down". I really like Shady, but beyond this year I just don't see it. If his stats this year drop as much as they did from 2016 to 2017 (even with more carries in 2017), we probably won't pay him 10mil in 2019. Year Team ATT YDS AVG TD 2017 Bills 287 1,138 4.0 6 2016 Bills 234 1,267 5.4 13
  11. Man, I forgot how much ambush "journalism" sucks. Also, not much in that interview. Not sure I saw much swagger, nor a "putting in check" of TMZ. I like Josh, I just feel like I watched a different video than the OP.
  12. Well... I would argue that Black Panther isn't worth watching, Beyonce music is trash, and Kaep looks an awful lot like a clown. None of that seems all that controversial. Not to mention... Does anybody really care about his opinions on pop music, superhero movies, and an ex-QB? I sure don't. But if that causes him to fall and we could manage to snap him up, then I guess I can pretend it's a big deal.
  13. Stop at Duffs and grab some wings... But most importantly, heckle amd harass the Chicago fans. The goal at the Ralph (or "The Cap") is to catch a football game and scare away opposing fans. We have a reputation to uphold. Welcome to the board. Hang up your coat and stay awhile.
  14. I think with Eric Wood, he didn't retire at his "retirement presser" because they plan on putting him on IR to save the cap space. From what I understand, it's dead money if he's retired, but comes off the books if he's IR'ed.
  15. Cam Newton. I was so happy when the Panthers "saved us from him" (chan said he would have picked Newton). And we got Mr. Big Puff. I was very excited.
  16. Or instead of just dealing with things the way they are.... We can try to constantly improve to best serve the whole citizenship. But, you know... Carry on trolling with your "if you don't like it just move" attitude. If everyone was like that nothing will have ever been changed for the better. I was born here and have family here. Trust me if I was picking a state to live in with no ties, NY would be 49th on my list.
  17. It's not so much to actual tax revenue and how it's appropriated as it is the laws that cost us more (higher taxes), and the allocation of federal tax money (since our state taxes are subsidized). I'm not really talking about Buffalo either. I live in a town of 1200 with far more cows and cornfields than there are people and houses.
  18. Good luck with that. They will blow all the tax revenue in NYC on useless BS. Just like CA, we should be trying to separate the state. Us rural folks literally and figuratively "pay the price" for the big city on the coast.
  19. With Rex we won the offseason. With McD we won enough to make the playoffs. I do wish there was more press, info, and video on what's been happening every day. But I would rather wonder about a playoff team than know everything about a team mired in futility.
  20. Better than ESPN.... You keep posting them, I'll keep watching. Great job TheRalph Maybe switch you're theme song:
  21. Whenever someone is making music that is real and about their life, I can respect that. This was not bad for me though I generally dislike rap. New country too... Both rap and country these days would be much better if they wrote songs about their life, as opposed to what they want you to think their life is like. Fake ass country boys and gangstas alike will fade into obscurity. People will listen to Hank Williams and Tupac Shakur forever.
  22. We could also use some help on the interior D-line... ...I wonder if Michael Jasper is still available?
  23. Many carriers and OS's are doing that. My Pixel XL2 screen turns red and says 'suspected spam caller". You can get apps that will automatically turn down/block spam calls, or even ones that will have your phones robot talk to them and try to waste their time. Spam calling is making a comeback... And it sucks. Putting yourself on the DNC (do not call list) just doesn't do anything anymore.
  24. I don't agree with this. I mean I know Gilmore was/is good in NE, but just like Dareus he didn't want to play here and put in no effort. He would not have played the same here, especially since the only way to keep him would have been the tag. Surely you watched Gilmore his last year in Buffalo, deliberately not tackling or fighting for the ball. Would not hit a ball carrier because he was afraid to get hurt. Unfortunately, Gilmore's game is all about "want to". He is almost always in the perfect position, but he has to be motivated to play the player, fight for the ball, or tackle/hit the receiver. Problem is, he didn't "want to" when he was here, particularly the last year.
