  1. Wow. Flake's a yes. Only 3 GOP not confirmed as yes'. We will see on Collins and/or Murkowski Yesterday at this time, I thought there was no chance this even went to vote. I found Ford to be credible, but also found Kavanaugh credible. I am shocked there will be a vote, and right now looks like he might still be the next SCOTUS justice. I think this thing unfolds much worse for Kavanaugh/GOP if Feinstein treated this like a real accusation and not like a political hit job. People would take her more seriously if brought up in any type of normal manner. The real losers in this hearing are both Dr. Ford and the Kavanaugh family, while the D's are just trying to burn the whole house down and both Ford/Kav are getting scorched in the blaze.
  2. And the sign is Brown. The Packers are wearing Brown pants. Coincidence? I think not ?
  3. I don't understand. How is it the SB preview without Buffalo? What am I missing?
  4. Yeah I just think enough R's will let Mitch know they aren't voting for him (the Murkowski's and Flake's of the world), and this hearing gives the Dem Gorsuch voters an out not to vote for Kavanaugh. McConnell won't put it to vote if he can't pass it, and that's why I think it never goes to vote.
  5. I think the Democrats did a disservice to Dr. Ford by handling this whole thing in a highly politicized manner, using her for their political capital. Coming in to this hearing, and seeing the other 2 accusers and Dr. Ford's attorney, I did not have high hopes for her credibility. That was wrong. She is equally as credible as Kavanaugh imo. The Republicans are killing themselves with this ex-prosecutor, but we will see how it rounds out. At the end of the day, her story has enough inconsistencies that Kavanaugh supporters will not be swayed. She appears credible enough where the Kavanaugh detractors will not be swayed. I still don't think we will see a vote on Kavanaugh at all. I do think this backfires on Dems though because Conservatives show up to the ballots for Supreme court picks, and an open seat will drive them to the polls much like the '16 Presidential election.
  6. Def not as quick or elusive, but I think the difference is his size. He can go much further per stride, and more than that he can shed tacklers because of his size. Also, the veteran-like pump fakes and selling play action, etc help Josh a TON. Freezing those backers gains him extra free turf, something Tyrod did not do well. Josh realizes he's not Shady or Taylor, so he makes the smart (and often subtle) misdirection moves to gain an advantage; and that's just what I want my QB doing.
  7. I LOVE to see Allen show he really gets the benefit of running, and it's not just "get yards". This guy talks and carries himself like a multiple year pro, and he is showing football knowledge beyond his years as well. Fair to say he is well coached, too.
  8. I think calling a QB a "stud" is different than a "stud athlete".... But beyond semantics, Allen is showing flashes of being able to do things we haven't seen since Jimbo. And it's not just his arm, either.
  9. Returner is not really much of an impact position any more. Injury risk just doesn't make sense unless it's a critical punt/situation. Under normal circumstances, no, he should not even be on the field.
  10. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Until it's broke, Lewis starts. I also agree with above poster that Taron made a difference as well.
  11. A story like this should not be a story. I was expecting something worthwhile, maybe a player saying it, or some sort of evidence other than "Kyle didn't even know". Presented as empirical fact, this is nothing more than a blind opinion, much like the ones we provide unceasingly. Road-hack at his finest.
  12. True, Jerry was a man possessed, but you know stat lines are what win these national awards. Same reason Josh can't win anything this week, his stats were not impressive out-of-context.
  13. Ha. Nice. I didn't even put that together. Even more perfect since Gillie got cut from the Pats*. Not because he got cut, I like the guy; but it should quell any more complaints about MG's leaving.
  14. This was awesome. I was there as well, with my uncle. What a day that was. I remember before the game winning FG, they announced over the loudspeaker to fans to not "storm the field". Lol I think we partied in the stands for well over an hour after the game. Classic.
  15. I always root for them to win, and then when they don't I justify it by saying we get the higher pick. Until we are officially out of contention for the playoffs, then lose, lose, lose.
  16. I believe we split. We take it in OP, they take it in MIA. Tanny forgets how to play against us for some reason. His worst games seem to come against the Bills.
  17. Yeah me too, the whole team really. Fitzy, Freddy, Chan, of course Meatball too, even ol' foghorn leghorn himself at GM Fun to watch, and the first time Bills football was enjoyable since before "Skeletor" Jauron
  18. I expect Josh to have some ups and downs this year, so I don't know how we fare next week. But just like the other games, I will tune in to see how 17 is doing. Today, he willed us to a win by refusing to be denied. That attitude worked today but could bite him a few times as he learns to control it.
  19. We have the worst WRs I think we have ever had. Would kill for Stevie Johnson, Donald Jones, and David Nelson right now even. KB is just terrible. Sure, give this Gentry kid a shot.
  20. Yeah, I have a feeling they are running the play that way specifically so that it can't be a fumble. I can't believe it didn't get overturned
  21. As McBeane attempts to build a team for the future, subtle moves like this help us down the line. This kid looks like a real-deal punter, and he could be our P for years to come. Check one position off the list. Everybody (rightfully so) will be talking about the defense and The Melon Baller Josh Allen, but I wanted to give some love to the young punter.
  22. I bet if we did a poll on every issue, the majority vote would be right more often than analysts (except on matters of homerism).
