  1. They don't watch all the games, and they certainly don't watch the Bills. They grease up teams they think are good, plus they just plain know more about them. It is better when someone like Romo calls them, who you can tell obviously watched tape on every team he calls amd knows what he is talking about. That said, it's been a decade since I really cared about the announcers. It is valuable to get a good one sometimes, but generally it's just the way it is. If we become good again they will pay more attention, know more, and seem partial to us against that years stinker teams.
  2. I know they are going to nurse this 1 point lead, but if we go a whole game with Josh Allen without having him launch one 50+ yards, it's a mistake.
  3. It feels like we are losing but are up by 4. Need to get out of this half with the lead and shake off this weird 2nd quarter.
  4. What? It was a favorable spot for us already. IF they move it, it will be in TEN favor.
  5. What the hell? Was that supposed to be a fake or was it botched?
  6. Yeah I predict a 52 week whining streak this year. We are on pace to do it.
  7. I want to believe we can do well today, but with Hyde out idk. Could be a long day in the secondary
  8. I doubt it but I wouldn't hate it. Probably just a mentor. And about !@#$ing time I say.
  9. Play-action, Josh rolls out, throws 8yds to an open Clay- but he drops it.
  10. Bladeforums.com is the single biggest enabler of my blade addiction.... And the only other forum I regular. The absolute best place for knife talk with other knife knuts. I even had a problem with my Delica, and Sal Glesser (Spyderco founder) solved it for me personally thanks to bladeforums. Awesome.
  11. As have I, but moreso with folders and boot knives. Have a few nice kitchen knives, but since I usually stick with the Inox, I buy many more pocket knives. Inox surprised me honestly, I bought it for the kitchen (commercially), but I end up using it. I am not the master sharpener, but I can get the Inox crazy sharp, sharper than I have been able to get anything else. Coupled with the light weight and perfect knuckle clearance, I just love the thing. And it was only 40 bucks! Those Swiss got it figured out (I carry several Vic pocket multitools and knives as well). Pocket-wise I'm a little more diverse but prefer American made so my current rotation is a big ZT Hinderer flipper, a Ken Onion Leek, and a Delica 4. Probably have over a hundred counting folders and custom fixed blades (as well as Tops, Ontario, ESEE, Buck, and Benchmade). It's a serious (and seriously expensive) addiction, but at least I always have a blade (or 5) handy!
  12. I know I would start paying attention to basketball and probably attend some games. Same with baseball. I have no interest in those sports at all, but if there was a Buffalo team they would be part of the family.
  13. I love that you have the knives in the pic. I don't put mine in pics usually, as my fav's aren't fancy. After using tons of chef's knife my favorite to use (and the one I grab most often) is a Victorinox Inox. I was so excited to get the Wustoff, then excited again to get the Global, but I just keep grabbing the Vic. I will also admit my steak knife of choice is a Carbon Morakniv Companion. Been using it for nearly a decade now and it stays sharp as hell with just a few swipes across the strop before each use (I only use it for steak/food). That is a nice set of Bradfords, though. Nice cook on the beef!
  14. Same roast before and after slicing. 20 ounce coulotte. 24 hours in the making. You can't rush perfection! 22 ounce shoulder roast: (that's Bo in the backround eyeing my roast) Backyard smokin' some brisket and 4 pork butt's for my sister's bridal shower: Throwing this in for good measure:
  15. Haha I will BOLO for Shady or KB on Sunday. I don't have high hopes.
  16. "pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty"? Now I have to go look it up. I have heard that song 40 million times (Waylon though) and up until 5 seconds ago would have put $100 on it being "Peggy Peggy Peggy Peggy, Peggy-Sue"
  17. I'm cool with that. I knew we were gonna suck this year. After taking my buddy's 7yo son to the opener, he can't wait to go back. A few more games and the tickets will be dirt cheap.
  18. Check out the document file in the first post. There's a map and directions
  19. I don't care enough to throw these posts back at you, I would be too happy watching a successful Josh Allen. I get it, he sucked in college. Nobody even disputed that. He's a guy everyone knew was a risk but you pick him because the cieling is so high. You didn't like that and that's fine, but people should not be surprised about how he is playing when all along the narrative was he needs time. I don't know why anybody thought a guy who was projected to take years to develop would be great on a roster down to the studs at square one. So, in a way I agree, he's not going to be good this year on a team with no talent, but the assertion that he is predestined to suck forever is not one that I subscribe to.
  20. Minnesota game had a very "college like" feel to it with the offense. In GB we looked like an offense trying to protect and reign in a rookie QB. So I get what the OP is saying, and I missed it if it was there. I saw a few variation of the RB wheel/sometimes fake like the play Croom scored on, but not alot of the "tricky stuff", which seemed to give Allen a personal confidence in Minnesota. Some of that was throw-aways. Last week he scrambled if nobody was open, but yesterdag he threw the ball away. I still wonder if that was coached or just instinctual and he wasn't feeling it at Lambeau.
