  1. Yeah they bait us into spending so much time fighting between Democrat and Republican, Black or White, etc... When the real struggle is the people versus the ruling class in Washington. ALL of them.
  2. Thanks for the insight. That's what I thought I was seeing. He always tucks it to the sideline side and pulls it in when he's actually going to get hit, so I know he's not lazy with it.
  3. Maybe I'm crazy, but I have thought that he "flags" it out there to misdirect the defenders. I certainly don't know, and it makes me nearvous when he does it, but I just feel like it's part strategy.
  4. I didn't want to dilute the pool with our small sample size. So I forced a binary decision. For example, I wanted Kav confirmed, but do not approve in general, so I chose no across the board. I think everyone mishandled the Kav situation. The current 14ish% approval (though just 7 voters so far) on here is pretty much in line with national ratings, if not a little generous to congress.
  5. I am curious, especially directly before the mid-terms, and after a hard fought battle on Kavanaugh, what TBDers think of congress. I don't want to skew the poll, but personally I see a clown show on all sides (wish there were more than 2). So, if 'pro' is the opposite of 'con', then what's the opposite 'pro'gress?
  6. Next level trolling, yet again BBF Freakin' next level Real question is should Josh Allen be on the wall of fame? He does have a 4th quarter comeback, something nobody has done here since EJ ?
  7. We don't have to trade him. I said I'm ok with it. You listen to offers and if one is worth it you pull the trigger. Let's not pretend our 30 year old RB is untouchable.
  8. I'm ok with trading Shady. Tactically, he will be in a walker before Allen hits his stride. But we have to get something (or someone) worthwhile. We can't just trade Shady for the sake of trading him like we did Dareus.
  9. Jack and Josh have alot in common. Both drafted by a rebuilding Buffalo celler-dweller, with BIGTIME hopes and aspirations, but the skill to deliver. Eich is actually younger than Allen (crazy right?), but the two of them need to grow into franchise cornerstones. Jack is well on his way, and the Sabres are further down the line than the Bills are, but I imagine they can commiserate and understand each others challenges.
  10. Yeah. Doesn't seem so terrible right now looking at some of the things going on: -2-3 with almost no talent on offense, playoffs last year -Shiny new QB prospect -Legitimate Defense including a core of young studs (Milano, Edmunds, White, Phillips, Taron) -Top Safety tandem in their prime -10 picks in the draft -3rd most cap next year -Time will catch up with Tom Brady soon enough -McD, we got a good one who will be around for awhile Just typing up that list makes me feel good. Now if we can spend all that cap and draft capital wisely on the offense, it could be the start of something great, provided Josh comes along like I think he can.
  11. TEAM Really, it's a manifestation of the old saying "greater than the sum of it's parts"
  12. I wouln't say it was "unsatisfying", but I agree with the spirit of your post. I didn't expect to win this year, and I really wamt them to let Josh play. Let him take lumps and INTs. I hate it when I can tell they have the reigns on him.
  13. It is a great stat line, esp for a rook. On pace for 125ish tackles, making impact plays, and is getting visually better every game. Yesterday I thought he took a huge leap in calling the D as he was always communicating back there.
  14. Not a fair assessment imo. I get it that you feel ganged up on, but... Just like you value dissent (I really do too), when you post something baseless and crazy, people will share their opinions on how crazy it is. Good 'ol boys club? I just got here last year. Hap (the mod in this thread) just became a mod. The "fixture" poster haven't even posted in this thread because they know it's all LAMP. But I can't help but interject sometimes. ? So, feel free to make wild assertions and post whatever opinion you may have, but don't pretend like it's a grand conspiracy when people don't agree with you. We disagreed last night but I don't hate you or have hard feelings. I don't know the people on here, and doubt you do either, so why care? Anyway, my $.02
  15. Yup. And 28 INTs I don't consider my social media observation a miss. It's true, though perhaps it does not apply to you. None of that changes the fact that you're OP is rediculous on it's face. You can't know what you claim to know, and you know that, but somehow continue to defend it.
  16. Really not a fair take imo. This is not a finished roster and it's pretty obvious. 2 off-seasons have clearly resulted in a decrease of talent, but you can't judge a house remodel when it's down to the studs. Let the guy put up some walls and fixtures and then judge the roster. So even though yes he technically "bares a huge part" of it, it's just step 1 in a multi-step process that's not a secret.
  17. This is hilarious. Social media has given people a level of self-importance never before seen. Anyhow, just for fun look up Peyton Mannings rookie stats. He turned out to be one of the greatest ever (maybe #1), but his rookie year they went 3-13 with 56%comp and more INTs than TDs. You just don't know if Josh will be good, and the fact that you think you do is kind of funny. It means you think you are smarter than everyone else. Imagine that.
  18. Because we spent everything on Josh and Tremaine. I'm pretty sure he meant next year.
  19. I totally agree with this, and would be proud to have him as our coach for another 5 years or more. Enough desperation for instant gratification (that doesn't work anyway), lets let these guys (GM/HC) fully realize their vision. We haven't done that since I was in high school.
  20. Idk... Offense was out of sorts, and it is generally apparent to me that we need to look like a college offense. We are more productive and Josh is more confident when they are moving the pocket, a little trickery, QB runs, etc. Maybe it will progress, but it looks to me like they are killing it in the 15 or so pre-determined plays, but then it's pretty predictable and vanilla. Did great on the first drive, and then abandoned the concepts that were working. Also, if you are going to draft a guy like Allen, vertical passing HAS to be a significant part of your game. I know the WRs suck, but they don't suck less just because they are closer to the LOS. I'm not sold on Daboll yet but there is plenty to be optimistic about.
