  1. Haha me too Two words: Ben Johnson You offer this guy a chance to be HC to Josh Allen. Happily ever after.
  2. Will likely get none. You don't lead a room full of talent to underperform and then get a promotion. The gig is up on Dorsey. Everyone knows Josh is making things work, just look at expected comp% vs actual it's dramatic, and tells the story that Dorsey does not fundamentally understand calling plays in the NFL. He understands individual plays, but doesn't "get" how they interact with other plays in a given series or game, or for the entirety of the year. They are like tracks on an album, that when you listen to it they go together. But Dorsey only sees the album for it's collection of tracks. This offense is doing what it's doing successfully despite Dorsey, not because of him. And I would venture a guess the people doing the hiring can see that as well.
  3. Dorsey Sucks, With McDermott giving him too much free reign getting honorable (?) mention
  4. Yes and current players have danced around the topic publicly. Publicly. Would be interesting to hear what they say to each other when they are practice golfing at Josh's new California compound.
  5. This is a legitimate factor with the new stadium/higher ticket prices. I have no confidence pegula will move on from McDermott this year, but after next year if this team still looks like, well... this; he's going to have to do something to excite the fans. Whenever determining what a person or organization will do, always follow the money. Billionaires gonna billionaire and the team either needs to sustain success until the new stadium or there will have to be some razzle dazzle and flash to sell new tickets. A new HC (and voice for the org) would do just that.
  6. Opposing teams know the plays - some of them have said as such. The offense looks like it's called by a 14 year old Madden addict that just slammed 2 red bulls and wants to hit a 75 yard TD so he can get to the bathroom asap.
  7. Players given up on the coaching And it didn't just happen this week.
  8. Bolded really only applies to wild card. For division, I do believe the first few tiebreakers in order are: -Head to head record (hold that over Miami at the moment) -Division record (currently mia 2-1 and bills 1-2) not too far off -Point differential (Buffalo leads the league rn I believe) So if Miami doesn't lose to pats or jets (and bills keep close to pace), the Miami game in Miami is really the most important remaining game and most likely carries the biggest playoffs/no playoffs swing. I'm not particularly optimistic or anything just thought I'd throw that out there. This year isn't cooked yet, even though it definitely feels like it .
  9. Meh, the Gints are pretty terrible. But I'd be more than happy with Daboll for OC of a rookie HC in buffalo if nyg moves on. But I'd still prefer an offensive guru type guy at HC to anything. But not really Daboll. Although if it's a binary choice I'd take Daboll. We know he can get the most out of Josh and hold him accountable. Josh is like a wild horse and he needs different guidance that the typical guy. The "culture" here has run its course. Haha I almost posted this. I don't think he's a viable HC candidate but he'd be a great OC pick for the rest of the year if we canned Dorsey now.
  10. Prob not wrong. If anyone is paying attention the book is out on Miami too. Just force Tua off-schedule. He simply cannot play NFL football if not allowed to throw on schedule.
  11. Welp Maybe we can sneak into a wildcard spot. Maybe catch some bounces. I mean we have catch some bounces sometime right? RIGHT!?
  12. It was a catch. But that point in the game it's not worth risking a TO for 9 yards So it was the wrong call to challenge even if it was overturned
  13. Defense banged up but holding their own. Offense just needs to carry their own weight.
  14. Chan Gailey would call a better offense. Just poor decision making, and no situational awareness. Couple more losses and it's time to clean out some offices
  15. Honest question: why? Do you think it's personnel or Josh just doesn't have it?
  16. Anybody NOT out on Dorsey at this point?
  17. Honestly they just need to do the same thing they did with Miami and slow down receivers at the line. It's really obvious I don't really understand why they pretty much never do it, especially when facing a team that specializes in defeating zone defense like Cincy
  18. Always Defer. Always.
  19. Wouldn't be mad at also adding donkey Kong. But happy to see this for sure!
  20. If anything we know that Josh and this team are massively influenced by bulletin board material and rematches of big losses. So I'm actually in agreement with you on this. I would not be surprised at all to smash Cincy and then lose to Denver or jets again.
  21. All I read was Daboll needs to get fired and have a reunion in WNY
  22. I'm not going to pick on you or call you stupid like others here... Honest question though: what have you seen that shows they aren't weak mentally? That's all I've seen for almost a year now. They don't handle adversity, not just not well, they don't handle it at all. Since GB last year it's a different team. You have to have seen that? No swagger. No killer instinct. Playing down to opponents. Josh struggling with easy throws or not making them. I'm actually beginning to think the team is giving up on the coaching as well. Josh is less engaged and less prepared this year than recent years, and seems to be not doing the things he was finally getting good at pre-snap. So I'm in general agreeance, and I posted as such yesterday; that they could go on a run late and have the talent to do so. But 3 losses already, and bad performances against bad teams... They need to pull it together QUICK
  23. He does suck right now but that's not fair. He's a 70 year old man fresh off a major injury. One of the benefits of Von is this type of thing, and we should get all the value we can out of that contract right now. I'm not exactly expecting a big turnaround this year, but it's possible. These types of meetings can have a catalyst effect at times, and stranger things have happened. My only hope is what if we're like the 07 Giants. They started way worse and most fans were calling for a house cleaning (it was big talk in my hometown as Couglin is from there and his family still lived there). Everyone wrote them off. And then they took down Goliath in the SB and it was glorious. We have the talent. The only thing I'm afraid of is they won that year on the backs of their DL. Ours WAS amazing for awhile but they are banged up now. And it doesn't look like daquan makes it back this year at all. We're gonna have to make it on the backs of Allen and Diggs. They ARE good enough but they have to do it, and quick.
  24. He's coming along nicely. We traditionally don't rely on rookies unless absolutely necessary (elam, benford) and tight ends aren't exactly known for their rookie production. Not to mention Dorsey's offense is disjointed. Even though Dalton didn't get the first down on the 3rd down reception, I liked seeing him really try for it. He seemed to have some rookie moments earlier this year, get mentally rattled, and had been more possession receiver out there. Glad to see him take another step towards being comfortable and having the game slow down a bit for him. He will be a true weapon for Josh and is one of the few players that will survive the roster turnover in the next 2 or so years. The next OC should be adept at utilizing TE or at least slot receivers (where he basically fits right in).
  25. I wholly agree with your post. The OP isn't at all what I would prefer... But it's what I think is the most likely given the situation
