Von INACTIVE vs Patriots, Coach's Decision
Heavy Kevi replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
About damn time is right! He's been really useless this year and actually a net negative taking snaps from pretty much any other rusher on the team. He's 72 years old tomorrow. Let's give him another off-season to rehab (not like we have a choice, his dead cap number next year I think is something like 1.2 billion) -
Is it time to put out an Amber Alert on Dalton Kincaid?
Heavy Kevi replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
All good points! Augie your point is well taken. But I do think, taking Laporta out of the equation, Kincaid seems to have hit a wall. All of the stats, the 6th all time receptions, high on the rookie list in yards, etc; that all happened weeks ago. Kincaid has been becoming less and less productive, and I think that merits the discussion about TEs in a Brady called offense, usage/snaps given (by McD or Brady by way of formation selection), knox taking his snaps because Knox blox, a potential injury? Idk But zooming out and looking at the big (long term) picture: Kincaid is at a minimum in the top 5 most important players on the team going forward, so just like with Josh, if he's not doing well it's time to start making adjustments. -
Is it time to put out an Amber Alert on Dalton Kincaid?
Heavy Kevi replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm dying for some seam routes to this kid in the 10-20 yard range. Brady has called a point scoring offense, but he needs to find a way to get pass catchers involved that didn't start in the backfield. Diggs and Kincaid disappeared almost at the same time Brady started calling the plays. -
So we should take these awards that have nothing to do with damars situation and give it to him? What about the players who actually deserve those awards? Damars situation was brutal and he has sacrificed alot... Almost much more. But we can't go destroying every award out there just to give him something. Comeback poy is for players that turn in remarkable performances on the field. Hard to argue damar did anything close to that. WPMOTY is for players that shoe "commitment to philanthropy and community impact". Again not applicable to damar. Here's an idea.................. CREATE THE "HAMLIN AWARD", to be given yearly to the player that overcomes the most adversity to play. Then he's "immortalized" with a namesake award, gets something to commemorate his toughness and perseverance, and doesn't dilute other awards Seems like a pretty good compromise to me

Who in the AFC would teams rather not see in the playoffs?
Heavy Kevi replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly... Maybe Cleveland. Normally I would say Cincy, but since they are dead this year I'm not afraid of anyone. I think we matchup well with Baltimore Don't *really* want to go to Miami in playoffs. Rather play them here. There are no teams I think we can't beat. Most of the matchups I would say bills are better than 50% chance. Sure they could also lose to any team but Buffalo is one of very few teams turning it on at the right time. CLE/BAL/MIA still hot but one of those teams has to lose this week, too. -
Interesting. Isn't he like 600 years old?

Random talking head says something about the Bills
Heavy Kevi replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lol. Just a bad human being. And this actually comes across pretty whiney rather than braggadocios. He's trying to sound cool, but he's still a salty little b word. -
These types of responses are WEIRD. Of course, I don't think anyone is super passionate about this... But we have long threads on everything NFL/Bills specifically and this certainly qualifies. It's not that important. Obviously. I don't think anyone is taking that position. But it's a discussion. Probably more merit to this than discussing Josh girlfriend, Xmas gifts given to members of the team, Gabe's mommy, etc...............

The award is literally specifically for people who are having a good year despite being written off or having not played in previous years. Flacco and Baker are prototype situations for this award. Especially Flacco. Former SB winner who was on his couch a couple months ago, and is leading the Browns (yeah, the browns) as they looked poised to make a run. Damar has no business getting it. It just doesn't make sense, no matter how many times you say it.

Is it turning on Hamlin? I don't think that's it at all. Everyone knows he literally almost left it all on the field. But... He should not be a candidate for comeback player of the year. He deserves all the credit for everything he has done and everything he has sacrificed; which I'm sure is more than we realize. But Baker Mayfield or maybe even Joe Flacco deserves CPOY. We can’t dilute awards and achievement just so the NFL can exploit damar's situation for PR.

I mean, he's not really being an a-hole here. He's saying their secondary is scheme based, knowing what/where Cincy is trying to do instead of relying on superior talent (like he's saying Ramsey is). I'm as frustrated as anyone with our inability to compete against Cincy, and this dude has a massively weird accent (?); but being outraged about these particular comnents seems a little misplaced. What he said about us previously, sure. But these comments are nothing.

DQJ!

It was going around at the deadline. Not confirmed I believe, but it was certainly the prevailing thought on elam getting traded (or not traded) I also believe they asked Sean about elam at the deadline and he likened it to the Josh Norman situation in Carolina where it took him several years to "get it". If any of that is true, it does signal that Beane and McD still believe in him.

Will Buffalo vs Miami be flexed to Sunday night??
Heavy Kevi replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought there were no sun night games week 18? Or is that just Monday? I figured it would be sat night or 4:25 on sunday -
Poor little Jets fan! What NFL Christmas present would make you cry?
Heavy Kevi replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
Looks like ai to me too -
Its on me?🤣 He ain't winning it, dude. If you think that's still a possibility, that's on you. My original comment remains. He has too many turnovers and the team has too many losses. Do I think he's MVP? Yup he is. It's a 3-4 win team without him, but its not Homer Bills fans who vote for MVP, and so it's pretty freaking obvious Josh ain't winning MVP this year.

Chance of Playoffs now, according to NYT simulator
Heavy Kevi replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would generally agree because they have some momentum right now, but that is all nullified by the fact that Bills already lost to Pats this year. That alone guarantees a win. Josh will not lose to the pats 2 times in one season. -
What Bills Christmas presents did you get?
Heavy Kevi replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
eBay is dreadful at weeding out fakes .. that would be my bet -
Unpopular playoff opinion-next year
Heavy Kevi replied to BillsFooteball's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you can get the div this year you get the div. Burn the boats and go all in for it But if fins win the div, next year's sched will be a consolation prize. Lombardi this year and next year's sched could be all London games idc! -
For real. Love Josh, but... This thread being revived every week is so weird. It does not matter what happens in next 2 games, or even in the last 5 or so. He has too many turnovers and the team has too many losses. It's like discussing if my pickup truck will beat the land speed record... Ain't happening no matter how much we talk about it.

Let's go cowboys!

Joking? You want your mommy defending you against strangers on the internet? Come on now nobody wants OR needs that. It's not like a tiger was gonna eat him, it's just internet people saying mean things. That needs no defense, and quite frankly it brought alot more attention to it by legitimizing it with a response.

Bills will probably be #3 or #2 seed if they win out
Heavy Kevi replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well then change the thread title. It's not surprising people think you are saying it like it's objective fact, because that's what the thread title says.
