  1. I get it, Dude. It's possible. I understand what you're saying. I just think it's less likely.
  2. Hey, it's possible, and I hope it works. But who is Rosen or Mayfield going to be throwing to, exactly?
  3. You think this roster is playoff ready? Yeah, I know, we made it this past year. Yippee! We had no shot at advancing, though. Our roster needs some stars
  4. Picking 6 players is more likely to produce a good player or two than picking 1 player. DUCY?
  5. Look at the rest of the Rams team. They're loaded. We're not.
  6. If we can get an "instant upgrade" for a second round pick, I'm with you.
  7. Plus, we've got a huge cap surplas next year....we can be very pro-active in FA then.
  8. Just because it works one time out a hundred doesn't mean it's going to work again.
  9. Moving up is sexy, it's fun, it's what's for dinner these days. But moving up will set the team's growth back three, maybe five years. Possibly longer. This team has so many holes, that to throw away all these picks on a QB who might be good is insanity. If we can somehow move up and still have 1 2nd and 1 3rd...I'd be willing to listen. But only for Rosen or Mayfield. Trading up for any of the other QBs is insanity. Especially since Jackson has a very good chance of being there at 12. Hell, he has a good chance of being there at 22. I'd rather pick an elite player at 12 - Roquan Smith, Derwin James, Vita Vea....etc. Use the rest of the picks on holes like WR, OL, DL, LB.... Throwing away this draft along with a first next next year? No thanks.
  10. Is this a real bowl, and if so, why isn't it the National Championship Game every damn year?
  11. Which of these lovely ladies are you leaving out of your threesome? This would be completely worth it - just to see yet another Jets draft blunder! Plus, the Jets can't be sure Barkley doesn't go 1 or 2, so if that's their plan, they're freakin' idiots.
  12. Now here's what happens if we actually move down a couple of times: Your score is: 22568 (GRADE: A+) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 22: Jackson, Lamar, QB, Louisville (B+) Round 1 Pick 28 (PITT): Evans, Rashaan, OLB/ILB, Alabama (B) Round 2 Pick 21: Goedert, Dallas, TE, South Dakota State (A) Round 2 Pick 24: Ragnow, Frank, C/OG, Arkansas (B+) Round 2 Pick 28 (PITT): Chubb, Nick, RB, Georgia (A) Round 3 Pick 1: Davis, Carlton, CB, Auburn (A+) Round 3 Pick 35 (DEN): Gallup, Michael, WR, Colorado State (A) Round 4 Pick 13 (DEN): Settle, Tim, DT, Virginia Tech (A+) Round 5 Pick 12 (DEN): Richardson, Will, OT, North Carolina State (A) Round 5 Pick 29: Igwebuike, Godwin, FS, Northwestern (A+) Round 6 Pick 8 (DEN): Dickson, Michael, P, Texas (A+) Round 6 Pick 13: McCray, Mike, OLB, Michigan (A+) Granted, it's rare to see this much moving - but look at the top of this draft: By trading down from 12 to 28 with PITT, we pick up another 2 - and get a potential placement for Shady one day. I don't think Tim Settle lasts until round 4, but Michael Gallup is one of the vastly underrated WRs in this draft - PFF has him rated as their No. 1 WR this year. And look what we pick up in the 3rd - a day 1 starter opposite Tre White in Davis Carlton. I would be thrilled with this draft - even with three fewer picks at the bottom. This draft gives us - literally - 8 potential starters. That's insane. Yes, draft-pick's rating are crap. But I'm not going for a good score - I'm going for potential starters and/or contributors.
  13. This time, I traded up to 4 to get Darnold. for 12, 22, 53, and 2019 1st. Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 4 (CLE): Darnold, Sam, QB, Southern California (A+) Round 2 Pick 24: Harrison, Ronnie, SS, Alabama (A+) Round 3 Pick 1: Cain, Deon, WR, Clemson (A-) Round 3 Pick 34 (HOU): Brown, Orlando, OT, Oklahoma (A) Round 4 Pick 14 (CLE): Freeman, Royce, RB, Oregon (A+) Round 4 Pick 21: Fatukasi, Folorunso, DT, Connecticut (A) Round 5 Pick 13 (CLE): Burks, Oren, OLB, Vanderbilt (A+) Round 5 Pick 29: Nelson, Nick, CB, Wisconsin (A+) Round 6 Pick 3 (HOU): Dickson, Michael, P, Texas (A+) Round 6 Pick 13: Dion Hamilton, Shaun, ILB, Alabama (B) Round 6 Pick 37 (HOU): Trumbetti, Andrew, DE, Notre Dame (A-) A little better...but it's goning to be really hard to get any sure-fire starters beyond the QB position this way...plus, we're giving up next year's first. I'm not sure trading up into the top 4 is worth it. Not when we'll have a great chance at Mayfield or Jackson...or, grab Rudolph or someone else later. I'd almost rather stack a roster with talent first...then go get a QB next year or 2020. Depending. It's a conundrum, I know.
  14. This time I gave the giants 12, 22, 53, 96, and 2019's first. Your score is: 19612 (GRADE: B) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 2 (NYG): Rosen, Josh, QB, UCLA (A) Round 2 Pick 26 (ATL): Sutton, Courtland, WR, Southern Methodist (A-) Round 3 Pick 1: Settle, Tim, DT, Virginia Tech (B+) Round 3 Pick 26 (ATL): Hurst, Hayden, TE, South Carolina (A+) Round 4 Pick 21: Jones, Jamarco, OT, Ohio State (A+) Round 5 Pick 29: Adeniyi, Olasunkanmi, DE/OLB, Toledo (A) Round 6 Pick 16 (BALT): Coutee, Keke, WR, Texas Tech (A+) Round 6 Pick 41 (BALT): Adams, Tony, OG, North Carolina State (A+) Not great....
  15. Ugh. Awful. Hard to get a good draft with trading up to 2. Again, I gave the Giants 12, 22, 56, 96, 166, and 2019's 1st. Your score is: 19139 (GRADE: Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 2 (NYG): Rosen, Josh, QB, UCLA (A) Round 2 Pick 21: Ragnow, Frank, C/OG, Arkansas (B) Round 3 Pick 1: Jones II, Ronald, RB, Southern California (A) Round 4 Pick 21: Fatukasi, Folorunso, DT, Connecticut (A) Round 6 Pick 22 (K.C.): McCray, Mike, OLB, Michigan (A+) Round 6 Pick 31 (N.E.): Coutee, Keke, WR, Texas Tech (A+) Round 7 Pick 15 (K.C.): Facyson, Brandon, CB, Virginia Tech (A+) Gonna try once more!
  16. I keep trying different trade up scenarios for Rosen just to see if we can still make a decent haul with giving up so much. I gave up: 12, 22, 53, 96, 166, and 2019's 1st to trade up to 2. Your score is: 20490 (GRADE: B+) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 2 (NYG): Rosen, Josh, QB, UCLA (A) Round 2 Pick 31 (N.E.): Turay, Kemoko, OLB, Rutgers (A-) Round 3 Pick 3 (IND): Cain, Deon, WR, Clemson (A) Round 3 Pick 28 (PITT): Settle, Tim, DT, Virginia Tech (A+) Round 3 Pick 31 (N.E.): Brown, Orlando, OT, Oklahoma (A) Round 3 Pick 32: Gallup, Michael, WR, Colorado State (A-) Round 4 Pick 10 (OAK): Cole, Mason, C/OT, Michigan (A+) Round 4 Pick 21: Stewart, MJ, CB, North Carolina (A) Round 5 Pick 22 (OAK): Adeniyi, Olasunkanmi, DE/OLB, Toledo (A-) Round 6 Pick 13: Madison, Cole, OG, Washington State (A+) Round 6 Pick 38 (OAK): Smith, Ito, RB, Southern Miss (A+)
  17. lol I kept trading back in the first until I only had one late pick. I think it might be troublesome for the salary cap to have so many rookies...but at least I finally got it over 2300! Your score is: 23209 (GRADE: A+) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 31 (N.E.): Moore, DJ, WR, Maryland (A) Round 2 Pick 8 (DEN): Rudolph, Mason, QB, Oklahoma State (B+) Round 2 Pick 19 (DET): Jackson, Donte, CB, LSU (A-) Round 2 Pick 21: Corbett, Austin, OG, Nevada (B) Round 2 Pick 24: Ejiofor, Duke, DE, Wake Forest (B+) Round 2 Pick 29 (JAX): Michel, Sony, RB, Georgia (A) Round 2 Pick 31 (N.E.): Chark, DJ, WR, LSU (A-) Round 3 Pick 1: Baker, Jerome, OLB, Ohio State (B+) Round 3 Pick 9 (MIA): Hill, BJ, DT, North Carolina State (A+) Round 3 Pick 18 (DET): Cappa, Alex, OT, Humboldt State (A) Round 3 Pick 29 (JAX): Holmes, Jalyn, DE, Ohio State (A-) Round 3 Pick 32: Gallup, Michael, WR, Colorado State (B+) Round 4 Pick 4 (IND): Cole, Mason, C/OT, Michigan (A) Round 4 Pick 36 (N.E.): Avery, Genard, ILB, Memphis (A) Round 5 Pick 3 (IND): Cruikshank, Dane, SS, Arizona (A+) Round 5 Pick 29: Ballage, Kalen, RB, Arizona State (A) Round 6 Pick 4 (IND): Haley, Grant, CB, Penn State (A+) Round 6 Pick 13: J Hall, P, DT, Sam Houston State (A+) Round 7 Pick 9 (S.F.): Bawden, Nick, FB, San Diego State (A+) Round 7 Pick 22 (S.F.): Bellamy, Davin, OLB, Georgia (A+)

  22. That's what's fun! I ended up with 24 picks once lol
  23. (I have no affiliation with this website - I'm just doing it for fun) Any of you guys do this? It's lots of fun. You can pick a team and do a draft, and the program offers trade-downs for every pick you make, and you can propose trades of your own - including future No. 1 picks! The game grades your picks and then gives you a final grade and score. for example, I did this draft: Your score is: 22200 (GRADE: A) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 2 (NYG): Rosen, Josh, QB, UCLA (A) Round 2 Pick 31 (N.E.): Washington, James, WR, Oklahoma State (A-) Round 3 Pick 7 (DEN): Jewell, Josey, ILB, Iowa (A-) Round 4 Pick 2 (T.B.): Cole, Mason, C/OT, Michigan (A) Round 4 Pick 5 (CHI): Adeniyi, Olasunkanmi, DE/OLB, Toledo (C+) Round 4 Pick 13 (DEN): McFadden, Tarvarus, CB, Florida State (A) Round 4 Pick 36 (N.E.): Callaway, Antonio, WR, Florida (A+) Round 5 Pick 7 (T.B.): Avery, Genard, ILB, Memphis (A) Round 5 Pick 8 (CHI): Phillips, Skyler, OG, Idaho State (A+) Round 5 Pick 29: Adams, Josh, RB, Notre Dame (A+) Round 6 Pick 13: Apke, Troy, SS, Penn State (A+) Round 6 Pick 16 (BALT): Ford, Poona, DT, Texas (A+) Round 6 Pick 44 (MINN): ODaniel, Dorian, OLB, Clemson (A) Round 7 Pick 7 (MINN): Dickson, Michael, P, Texas (A) I traded up to #2 to pick Rosen but then kept trading down to accumulate more picks. Can anyone beat my score? Careful, it's addivtive
  24. Yeah, I think I reached a little for both.
  25. I belong to another forum with lots of so-called football experts - some of whom actually work as draft prognosticators... we had a two round mock with my picking the Bills. I am not a draft expert lol. I had a deal in place with the Giants' GM to trade up for no. 2 for 12, 22, 53, 96, and next year's 2nd. It was more than I really wanted to give up, but I thought I'd give it a shot to get Rosen and see what we can pick it with 56. But then, the Browns picked Rosen No. 1! First three picks went: 1. Cleveland Browns Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA 2. New York Giants Sam Darnold, QB, USC 3. New York Jets from Indianapolis Colts Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma During these picks, I was in touch with the Browns' GM, trying to make a deal for 4 and Mayfield...but once the Jets picked Mayfield, I was done. I figured we'd stick with our picks, maybe draft Lamar Jackson, and go from there. But the Browns' GM was really aggressive, and said he wanted more picks. I told him the only guy I thought that was really trading up for was Rosen, so I was out. But then he made me this offer: Josh Rosen and a 2019 4th round pick to the Buffalo Bills for: 2018 1st round pick (12) 2018 2nd round pick (56) 2019 1st round pick 2019 2nd round pick So I had to say yes. So the Bills traded for the No. 1 pick - Josh Rosen. The Bowns picked Lamar Jackson at 4. Then these were the picks: 5. Denver Broncos Quenton Nelson, G, Notre Dame 6. Indianapolis Colts from New York Jets Bradley Chubb, EDGE, NC State 7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State 8. Chicago Bears Minkah Fitzpatrick, CB, Alabama 9. San Francisco 49ers Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State 10. Oakland Raiders Roquan Smith, LB, Georgia 11. Miami Dolphins Connor Williams, OT, Texas 12. Cleveland Browns from Buffalo Bills (from Bengals) Josh Jackson, CB, Iowa 13. Washington Redskins Derwin James, S, Florida State 14. Green Bay Packers Jaire Alexander, CB, Louisville 15. Arizona Cardinals Tremaine Edmunds, LB, Virginia Tech 16. Baltimore Ravens Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State 17. Los Angeles Chargers Mike McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame 18. Seattle Seahawks Isaiah Wynn, G/T, Georgia 19. Dallas Cowboys Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU 20. Detroit Lions Vita Vea, DT, Washington 21. Cincinnati Bengals from Buffalo Bills Leighton Vander Esch, LB, Boise State I was zeroing in on Vander Esch for the pick at 22, and was really disappointed that I got sniped by the Bengals. As I thought there wasn't another LB worth picking this high, I went with who I thought was one of the best player available and a need: WR James Washington, Oklahoma Very few receivers were as productive as Washington has been over the past few years. He's usually ranked as the 2nd or third best receiver prospect, and his consistency and outside speed is what the Bills need. I figured we got Rosen, let's get him a top-flight target! It was a tough decision, as I thought Rashaan Evans here would've been a decent pick, too. As would just about everyone picked in the rest of the first round: 23. Los Angeles Rams Harold Landry, EDGE, Boston College 24. Carolina Panthers Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama 25. Tennessee Titans Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Notre Dame 26. Atlanta Falcons Maurice Hurst, DL, Michigan 27. New Orleans Saints D.J. Moore, WR, Maryland 28. Pittsburgh Steelers Rashaan Evans, LB, Alabama 29. Jacksonville Jaguars Will Hernandez, G, UTEP 30. Minnesota Vikings Marcus Davenport, EDGE, UTSA 31. New England Patriots Josh Allen, QB, Wyoming 32. Philadelphia Eagles Derrius Guice, RB, LSU The second round before us went like this: 1 (33). Cleveland Browns Da'Ron Payne, DT, Alabama 2 (34). New York Giants James Daniels, C, Iowa 3 (35). Cleveland Browns from Houston Texans Arden Key, EDGE, LSU 4 (36). Indianapolis Colts Sony Michel, RB, Georgia 5 (37). Indianapolis Colts from New York Jets Ronnie Harrison, S, Alabama 6 (38). Tampa Bay Buccaneers Donte Jackson, CB, LSU 7 (39). Chicago Bears Isaiah Oliver, CB, Colorado 8 (40). Denver Broncos Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia 9 (41). Oakland Raiders Orlando Brown, T, Oklahoma 10 (42). Miami Dolphins Mason Rudolph, QB, OK State 11 (43). New England Patriots from San Francisco 49ers Kolton Miller, OT, UCLA 12 (44). Washington Redskins Harrison Phillips, DT, Stanford 13 (45). Green Bay Packers Christian Kirk, WR, Texas AM 14 (46). Cincinnati Bengals Billy Price, C/G, Ohio State 15 (47). Arizona Cardinals DJ Chark, WR, LSU 16 (48). Los Angeles Chargers Taven Bryan, DT, Florida 17 (49). Indianapolis Colts from Jets through Seahawks Michael Gallup, WR, Colorado State 18 (50). Dallas Cowboys Jamarco Jones, OL, Ohio State 19 (51). Detroit Lions Ronald Jones, RB, USC 20 (52). Baltimore Ravens Cedrick Wilson, WR, Boise State Here's where my lack of deeper knowledge in the draft may have hurt us. I think I probably should've gone BPA instead of need. But I picked: Josey Jewell, LB, Iowa What do you guys think? Ragnow, Penny, Mike Hughes and some decent Edge rushers were still available.... Anyway...I hope the Browns are this generous in real life!
