Whatever the plan is, this roster is an unmitigated disaster. Why sign Chris Ivory to that contract if you're just going to play Marcus Murphy ahead of him? Why no help on the OL when Ducasse, Bodine, Groy, and Miller all have proven they are not starters in this league? Why keep Kyle Williams around when it's obvious he's done? Why can't we find a half-decent pass-rusher? Why sign Vontae Davis to another money-wasting contract if you're just going to sit him? Our WRs are the worst in the league. I'd have no problem getting rid of every single one of them. I understand some of these might be considered hindsight, but if this is how well the FO evaluates talent, we're in for a ****-show of a team for years to come. I've been wanting them to start Josh Allen since we drafted him, but now, I'm not so sure. He literally has no help around him. None. We have one NFL caliber player on offense - one. And that's an old Shady who only got a handful of carries the other day. I guess Dion Dawkins is ok....he doesn't stink, at least. On defense, that squad was running around like a chicken without its head. Hyde and Poyer can only do so much. Philip Gaines? Really? The LB squad looks....decent, I guess. But how can you tell when every play against them seems to gash the defense for 15 or more yards? As someone else said, teams like the Rams built their team and then got their QB - and now they have a few years left of a rooking contract with a great team behind Goff. IF Allen becomes the franchise QB... And IF the Bills build a contender around him... By the time this team is ready to win, we'll be having to pay Allen a fortune and let go some of the players who are actually good and helped build the team into a winner! Horrible cycle of suckitude. This is all ass-backwards. I have lost confidence in Beane and McDermott. Why would anyone think Nathan Peterman is an NFL QB? I don't think they know what they are doing. Daboll, who knows? Maybe his scheme sucks, maybe it's brilliant, but we're never going to find out with the piss-poor personnel we're putting on the field right now. This franchise is a dumpster fire, and I'm tired of it. *********************** LOL okay, I got that out of my system. ?

WR Will be Toughest Position to Fix

We don't need a complete overhaul of the WR group. Just one game-breaker - an Antonio Brown or Stefon Diggs would immediately make the rest of the group better. The opposing defenses will not be able to sit on them as much. -

Hey! After Carr's horrible performance tonight, maybe we can convince Chucky that he'd be better off with Peterman! He loves him some Nate. -
Did the first three fall off a cliff in the off-season? Why aren't they on a team?

seriously, no clue

Goff is average at best, but he has a fantastic supporting cast. Imagine Allen with that cast? Carr has never scared me. Why can't we have a Jared Cook? -

Allen can be at least as good as either of these QBs by the end of this season. -
The Silver Lining : Josh Allen is very good.

I want to know what happened to the play calling we saw against the Panthers? Seems there was none of the interesting formations or movement we saw there. -

but it's looked like that for 20 years -
Who are these 12 morons who voted for the first option? We need to round them up.

Why does our offense always look like it's 5 years behind everyone else? -

The one guy we've gotten rid of over the last couple of years that I wish we still had, is Robert Woods. -

You know what Allen brings to the Bills that I can't remember having in a very long time? When he goers back to pass - no matter the down or distance - I have confidence that he will make a play. -
Who are we competing with for the #1 overall pick?

Giants are pretty bad -
That's a fair point.

And saying Zay is a bust is just not fair. He's played one year! Give him some time to grow. This. These guys are place-holders, that's it. Yeah, they suck, and THAT sucks. But what were we going to do? Play a 5th round pick right off the bat? You think Teller is going to be better than Miller or Ducasse right now? How about one of the other young guys, like Connor McD? Although, at this point, I don't see what it could hurt to give one of them a shot lol. This is the gambit, yes...but they are playing for the long run. I just hope they know what they're doing. With a top 3 pick next year, I'm hoping Beane finally trades DOWN and picks up some picks we can use on OL and WR...unless you just can't pass up on Bosa or Oliver.

I'm sorry, but this is a bad post. You don't know who they would've been able to draft or if those players would work out. They decided to get their QB first, build around him after, So what? They obviously feel Allen was worth the picks. I don't agree. Although, I do hope they stop trading up so much. Like you said, hindsight is 20/20 - maybe Zay gets better, maybe not...but no one was saying Juju was going to be a star before the draft, right? Watson is an unknown so far. He really doesn't look that great. Mahomes has had one great game. Let's give it a few years before we for sure claim a trade was bad or good, ok? I'd rather have our QB in place than stocking a team with other talent and then having...Trent Edwards, or Ryan Fitzpatrick, or EJ Manuel, or tyrod Taylor as our QB. We've seen how far that gets you. You need the franchise QB. We've finally got a guy that has a real chance of becoming one. The last one we had was Jim Kelly - there was no one saying any other QB after him would be anything but a half-decent starter.
