  1. someone else doesn't know what I did or didn't read. Which is entirely my point.
  2. How does anyone here know who or who isn't mentoring Josh Allen?
  3. When Allen actually has the ability (and the permission) to change the play at the LOS - especially when seeing 8 or 9 men in the box - two things will happen: the running game will be much better (because the Bills won't be running the called play into a wall), and Allen will obviously grow in confidence and start hitting the passes he now sees are there.
  4. Until Daniel allows Allen to change the plays at the line, the offense will always be a step behind.
  5. Sorry, I didn't see this thread before I started mine
  6. I didn't say they suck...they just need some seasoning. I think they're both going to be very good....maybe even this year.
  7. This just goes to show you - and me - that we often don't know what the heck is going on or why the Bills are playing poorly. PFF (in other thread on this sight), YardsPerPass, and Joe Buscaglia have all done a lot more studying than us, and all three have claimed that main culprits in the Chargers loss are Josh Allen and Tremaine Edmunds. Now, I think we could all see how Edmunds struggles against a savvy passer like Rivers, and while Allen certainly shows promise, he missed a lot of open guys and didn't get the ball out in time to be truly effective. But the real surprise is that the offensive line, save for center Ryan Groy, all played from decent to very well. In facxt, Both John Miller and Vlad Ducasse - two of the bigger punching bags on this site - actually played way above average and were standouts on the team: Armed with this knowledge, it now makes sense that the OL has not been overhauled or changed much at all. In fact, other than maybe replacing Groy with Bodine, I don't see any changes coming for this line in the near future. And with the change in the play-calling in the 2nd half, and with both our star 1st-round rookies getting valuable experience, I expect both them and this team to actually be a bit better than most are expecting this year. Certainly not 0-16 bad. Matbe The Process is working...and we just can't see it yet.
  8. lol just goes to show you these guys have no clue what they're talking about. The Bills could go 0-16, have half the team contract herpes, McDermott be nick-named in Stormy Daniel's new book as "Yoshi", and the Pegulas are still not firing this head coach.
  9. Pretty sure this is the last season Shady is with the Bills
  10. Make a run? We could make a crawl to either of them an both would still be available.
  11. I'm not saying our receivers are any good. Only that I don't think whining about missing out on a head case is worth the effort.
  12. After watching this, a few thoughts: This kid has got it all. Give him a year. a half-decent OL and a couple of good receivers, Josh Allen will be a franchise QB in no time. The two INTs were simply a QB trying to make something from nothing. Not really that bad, and he will learn from them. The one deep pass over the middle to Clay in the first half was SOOOO close to a TD...I'd like to see video of the rout and see if where the ball was placed, if Clay dogged it, or if James just made a great play on the ball. I counted 5 drops of catchable balls. He air-mailed one to Holmes over the middle and threw three or four other balls that weren't great. Had a stretch where both Clay and DiMarco had to make very good catches of what should've been better-thrown balls. Also, that one early pass in the flat to Murphy that he missed. He missed a few blitzes and a couple of those sacks were on him. But the Chargers were really throwing some exotic looks and pressure at him. Otherwise, he seemed to do well on the short passes. After a year of playing, I guarantee Allen will be getting rid of the ball sooner and cleaner. Hell, he was doing that from first quarter to the 4th. I don't get it, the comments on this video in Twitter just rake him over the coals. "Trash" and "LOLs". I don't think they're even watching, just going with the national story that Allen is going to be a bust. Really odd, though, because I see a very promising and poised rookie. I'm really excited to see how he progresses this year. Can you imagine what this kid will be able to do in two years time - assuming they actually get him some help? Good chance of being an all-pro level QB.
  13. lol you guys are funny. Gordon hasn't done a damn thing in FIVE years. If he does well with the Pats, good for him. I'm not holding my breath.
  14. I'm going to think outside the box and say Punter
  15. So in Buffalo, those two are "babes," huh? That explains a lot.
  16. wait, you mean there are good times with this team??
  17. They, and Bodine and Murphy are stop gaps. Vets who can at least play while the rookies get up to speed. Yeah, David bailed. Bad signing. Star is actually doing exactly what he's being paid to do.
  18. Yeah, firing the priest is why we suck now
  19. But the Browns have Hue Douglass at the helm. I like the Bills' chances against them.
  20. Good be better than the Giants. Redskins don't look good, either.
  21. I think we're actually better than the Cards. Maybe the Browns.
  22. Yeah, I mean give Allen 5 Super Bowl wins, too, and they definitely compare favorably.
  23. I'm sorry, but Frazier proved he was a lousy coach years ago. Never did understand why he was brought to Buffalo.
