What does our O-Line look like now?
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have wanted to see Brown moved inside just to see what it looks like. I feel like that guy might really mess people up in tight spaces. Just mauling guys. Now that ship probably sailed for good. I can see them giving Bates a look at RT early on. Especially if Brown continues to go backwards. I’m really not overly concerned about the line. I think we have some solid pieces to work with. I think the scheme was a bigger issue and I think that’s probably why we haven’t been able to run the ball. I don’t think we are coaching this offense up to run with any success. My biggest fear is that it’s a permanent issue. This season is going to really fall big on Dorsey because last year left a lot to be desired IMO. -
RD 3, Pick 91: LB Dorian Williams, Tulane
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s funny we have like borderline around the clock weight trainers and dietitians but people think a guy in their early 20s can’t put on 10-15lbs in an offseason. There are unlimited resources here and this is their jobs. It will not be an issue. -
Goddamnit. Should have moved up
-
Should we go up and get Simpson? Draft has been excellent so far, go get some competition at LB? Seemingly elite athleticism for the position? Maybe we can get him to be what Edmunds should have been
-
How about the best MLB left 🤷♂️ Let’s get that face of the defense for the next 10 years tonight.

RD 1, Pick 25: TE Dalton Kincaid, Utah
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
This franchise has never had a top tier TE in their entire history. Been wanting it for years. Hoping this is the guy that finally becomes that for us. Knox…it is what it is. Just hasn’t been close to good enough. Turning him into a #2 TE probably makes us considerably better -
It’s supposed to be a commercial for the draft and it’s supposed to be sort of cheesy..but it’s actually pretty good. I like it.
-
No reason to not want him back. He should be well rested and still has something in limited action last year. Can’t have too many good WRs on the team.

DHopkins would cost a 2nd round pick...would you do it?
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
Absolutely yes with zero hesitation. People overvalue the draft way too much. Get the guy we know is great right now and try to win the Super Bowl.- 235 replies

USFl and xfl should consider a merger and try and put together 1 league with a respectable amount of teams. Combine resources maybe create a rivalry situation…get this thing consolidated and see if you can’t have something decent
-
In not even sure if they still do it but them having all of the games in the same place is one of the dumbest ideas I have ever seen. And if you insist on that…do it in NYC or a place where there is a constant flow of people in volume.

My #1 thing was get rid of Fraizer. That’s thankfully done…3 years too late but whatever. I’m good with what we have done so far this offseason. I’d like to improve the running game quite a bit and turn into a more sustainable offense in inclement weather. I think our defense will already be better. Addition by subtraction with both Les and Tremane. I’d like to draft a MLB but after today I’d probably rather trade for white.

I will never understand this line of thinking. Trying to beat the best QB in the league at their own A game on purpose. I can’t agree with anything less. The only way we will ever beat KC in the playoffs is by being different. You aren’t going to beat them at their own game. A shootout with Mahomes….it’s just dumb. I’m sorry. You find a way to be different. Be good at throwing but have balance enough to keep the ball away and make them play a style of game they are not comfortable in. Power run game? Physical line play, sprinkle in what we do well already. We aren’t the Trent Dilfer ravens our QB is excellent but you aren’t better at passing than KC. Definitely playing good defense would be a very good start. You want to play 45-41 games with KC? Their QB is the best in the league…you aren’t winning that game. The last thing you want to do is get into a game with KC where you are trying to out pass them. It’d be like trying to be the Warriors in a 3 point contest. You want to do everything but.

Im not even trying to say I think Spector will be good, I’m just throwing it out there. I’m all for a guy from outside the current roster coming in. I was done with Edmunds I was looking forward to the next chapter. I don’t think it will be Bernard but we’ll see.
-
Yeah I know, that’s why I really didn’t like him. I want a down hill force that will seek and destroy instead of a guy floating back into passing lanes. I want a guy that looks like he has instincts running my defense…not a guy looking like he’s thinking then moving. Yeah he never did anything in the regular season. He was all over the place in preseason though fwiw

I know it sounds crazy and I know it’s not going to be popular but I keep going back to… what if Spector factors in here? The guy really was good in pre season and I know I have seen articles stating he was really getting after it in the offseason. There is a theory where the Bills think Edmunds replacement is in house. Obviously there is going to be some sort of competition. Everyone’s mind jumps to Bernard but what if it’s Spector?

Cam Newton open to backing up Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’d absolutely take him as a backup. He lets you do the things with mobility that you can do with Josh. In a pinch for half a game or 2…you could do a lot worse. Can’t imagine it happening but I’d be all about it. -
Too much Jackson. This team should have been starting Elam from day 1. He’s the best cover guy we have at this stage. Our game day roster management is still our own worst enemy. It’s truly senseless. Elam should be our number 1 guy with White settling into the crafty veteran #2. Do not draft another CB early come on. We need a ton of other thing’s significantly more. And our 1st round rookie CB barely even saw the field last year. Stop wasting entire years of high picks in Allen’s prime
-
The number 1 reason we haven’t won a Super Bowl yet is our defense. I’d like to think that it was mostly Fraizer and now he’s gone. But it’s not the Oline. We can’t stop the Chiefs and we can’t stop the Bengals. That’s the truth. It’s not glamorous and it’s not the popular opinion but it’s reality. We are fine on the Oline. We couldn’t even hold a lead in a playoff game for 13 seconds. Our offense has been the best thing about this team during this run.

Wish they would just sign Klein at lb
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wonder if there is any chance whatsoever that Spector factors in. The guy actually played pretty well in pre season. I’m not looking for this to be plan A but it might not be crazy. -
Wish they would just sign Klein at lb
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
You got to have a guy that can move a little. I like Klein but it’s just not the right move right now. I want a guy that plays with his hair on fire. I want the rookie year Kiko ish guy in there that just flys around and has zero fear. I’ll even live with a guy that makes mistakes due to over aggression. What drove me nuts with Edmunds was the hesitation. It was like he had to see it before he moved. I want a guy that trusts his instincts and just runs downhill through a play like a refrigerator on wheels. Just play fast and physical and set a tone. Not saying Klein isn’t that type but he’s too old and too slow. -
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lol and in the late 3rd round too. People acting like 2nd and 3rd rounders are hall of farmers…more then half the league is udfa
