  1. I can’t imagine a scenario where we just played like complete garbage against the Jets and then beat a red hot 7-1 team with Keanum as the QB. In a world or on a team where you have an excellent run game to lean on and you can actually try and just feed a RB and not get killed by QB mistakes…fine. We have none of that. Josh is the running game too. If he can play even at 70%, he needs to because we are going to be a mess without him. Can’t keep giving up these regular season games because the Chiefs aren’t going to lose. If he can’t play then fine, it is what it is…but you have to stop just holding these guys back assuming our backups are good enough to win games. They are backups for a reason. We are being way to casual with these regular season games and not taking opponents seriously. We are going to ***** around and end up losing the division
  2. I even put the sentence in saying : I realize they are nothing similar other then the general idea of sharpening the mental aspect to cover up physical limitations due to pain but 🤷‍♂️I knew it would still be said.
  3. I didn’t say that he can’t. Just that made he could throttle back if he’s hurt
  4. Super long shot here but, what are the chances this injury makes josh re focus on the intermediate and underneath stuff that’s been missing? Maybe not having the full power on the downfield stuff will make him attempt a “B game” I know when my back is bothering me or I’m not feeling great and I’m bowling, it makes me hyper focus on fundamentals. Knowing you don’t have the full complement of physical tools could make you sharpen the mental aspect. Not comparing the games obviously but the idea isn’t inconceivable.
  5. That’s been our teams attitude with everyone. Don’t rush guys back, no big deal don’t dress guys that aren’t 100%. It’s just regular season…then lose to Miami and the Jets with guys out all over the defense. Not realizing that these “regular season” losses add up and are the reason why we keep having to go TO KC in the playoffs. We need to start treating regular season games like they count because they do. If Tre White was “close” week 1, he should have been active yesterday. If Milano could have gone, he should have. I’d take 15 snaps of him over 0
  6. Maybe we could bring him in as some sort of offensive assistant to help get Dorsey dialed in on some adjustments. Colts offense was well designed. The QB was just completely washed up and horrendous
  7. Dodson over Edmunds is not outlandish. I’m sorry, it’s not. The guy has been a key component in all of these run defenses. I’d like to see what it looks like with a more physical LB
  8. Might be the best thing for them? Their season is over
  9. Knowing how McDermott is, how can he be ok with how this run defense looks? And then you think what can fix it? Obviously back off this nickel on every single down but man you have to start changing something. If the whole appeal to our LBs is the speed we have in coverage, why is it so important that we play 5 DBs on every play? Wouldn’t having LBs that can run and cover give you the chance to NOT play with a NB? And allow you to cover in a base 4-3?
  10. Mahomes is the best QB in the league and has been from the minute he stepped into the league. He’s won one already and they have hosted 4 straight afc championship games…he can do whatever now, they got theirs. And he’s the reason they are still great
  11. It looked to me like Josh lost all his confidence after that 2nd interception. I don’t like that. I hope it was a bad day and I hope he just didn’t take the game serious enough and just let down. If this guy loses anything he had we have no shot. We are great because he is great. We can’t absorb him regressing back to some wildcard out there.
  12. I despise the Titans but I love how they play. My dream scenario for Josh and us is to be a hybrid offense of Titans and super bowl panthers. Those offenses with Josh and a better defense and let’s see who can handle us in the playoffs
  13. If we don’t fix the run defense we are going to have a mess on our hands with Minnesota
  14. He will probably go to the Chiefs or back to the Rams. It’d be great I just can’t Imagine it actually happening.
  15. Shakir should be thrown into a much bigger role. He has done nothing but make plays with the ball in his hand and reminds me of 2010 Stevie Johnson. Will it happen? Seriously doubt it.
  16. Might not be impossible to get Beasley back. Not sure what the rules are. Everyone talks about OBJ like it’s there if we want it…there’s more to that decision then us just saying please. Might want to start working on a plan B
  17. The entire team absolutely sucked today but you punt that ball inside their 10, you absolutely do not let them score on that drive. Jesus Christ we should have had the ball back at midfield. Not only did we not, they ran the clock out and scored. That’s inexcusable. The offense was terrible but it was Zach Wilson. Get a ***** stop. 20 points to that offense isn’t good. Get up and make a stop with the game on the line
  18. A team running down your throat 7 straight plays with the game on the line from their own 10 is inexcusable. Every physical team can have whatever they want against our defense. This guy has been in the middle of it for years now. It’s on the Dline I’m not excusing them but at some point, a good MLB makes instinctive physical plays. This guy flat out doesn’t ever do that. Milano does constantly. I realize it’s not apples to apples with their positions but Edmunds does not get down hill and make instinctive plays. Try something else and see what it looks like. We can’t turn into tissue paper whenever Milano is out.
  19. Idk what you are saying. I want Milano and Dodson on the field. I don’t think that would kill us at all. Our defense has been fine when Edmunds is out. I think Dodson is better then Edmunds
  20. Start Dodson and sit Edmunds to make a statement on physicality. J Johnson should never see a field again. And this team needs to stop playing Nickel on over play regardless of situation.
  21. Yeah I loved Beasley. The end with him was confusing to me. The team and fans seemed to turn on him so fast it was maddening. I think Shakir could be that guy but we just won’t let him. Just another thing that makes no sense
  22. I have never once thought OBJ coming here was realistic but I’d say at this point, if it can happen…I hope it does.
  23. I love this team personnel wise and I think there is a ton to like obviously. I hate philosophy in which we use them. McDermott has been a borderline savior for this franchise…..he’s an amazing coach Monday through Saturday but he’s terrible on game day.Thats been the case from day 1. I want to see more physical play on both sides of the ball. We are too finesse and physical teams can make us pay. It happened in Jacksonville last year, the Pats game at home and it happened today. You rely way too much on the pass and if it’s not there you have no plan B. We aren’t physical enough up front and we get the LOS moved on both sides of the ball. That’s why we can’t run and that’s why we can’t stop it. We are built to play ahead and that’s not always going to happen. In a tight game, you need the off speed pitch. You need to establish the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. The QB gets all the glory and press coverage but championship teams reset the line of scrimmage. You have to stop the run. You can not let a team hold the ball on you for 8 or 9 minutes while churning out drives on the ground. It lets teams get you on your heels and it makes you very venerable on the backend as a result. You also need to make teams pay when they devote all of their assets to stop your passing game. There has to be a time where you line up and run it. It’s not all on the RBs. It’s a philosophical thing here. It’s been that way since day 1 and the names of the RBs have changed. It’s not a coincidence. Something is broken with the way this team wants to run the ball and until it’s fixed this game will always be possible. You certainly have to want to change it in order for it to get better. There’s are plenty of times where it seems like In a tight game, it’s just put entirely on Josh. The first few drives of every game we seem to have nice balance and creativity on offense. Once the flow of the game changes and teams settle, it becomes a drop back hope Josh is an MVP. I’d love to see this team dictate more with physical play and if that means less splash plays… I’m good. Get the physical guys on the field and make teams uncomfortable to play against you.
  24. If we were 0-8 I wouldn’t stop watching. One has nothing to do with the other. Trust me I’m not here because they are good. If I could have stopped I would have a long time ago. Need to get this thing fixed now
