I love Cook and he obviously broke out last year. I actually think when the year is over Davis will have more carries. The touches might balance out but I think Davis becomes what McDermott always wants. What Zach Moss should have been. I think we might have a 2 headed monster at RB and with one of the best running QBs of all time….good luck

I can already see that the Hollins stuff is going to be more aggravating then anything. I’m glad he’s fun and a good story but the guy is not good enough to be a starting WR in the NFL. He’s like a 4/5 on a decent team. I can see McDermott is going to Frank Gore this guy down our throats because of off the field events. You just have to get the best players out there and if this guy is even in the conversation, then we didn’t do enough at WR. Him being on the team is fine….but he can’t be starting over Keon.

I kinda like Mitch. I love him as a backup. I really don’t want him exposed to injury either. Give him a drive or 2 then get him out too. Let the other kid play almost all of the pre season

It’d be cool if we used this as a way to fly in and grab Deebo. Just swoop in to trade for him and create a reason for 49ers to keep Aiyuk. I want the more physical player anyway.

I kept thinking Elam was good when he played before this year. Sometimes I don’t understand what our coaches see. They will run out washed up zeros like Frank Gore, Latavius Murray, AJ Klein etc like they don’t see what everyone else can see…but then not realize guys that flash. I thought Elam was playing well every chance he got and just never got a look. I think Dorian Williams was a guy that was making plays and he just couldn’t get on the field. We were playing guys that didn’t belong in the league in the biggest game of the season over 42. There is a lot to like about McDermott but he definitely confuses me with personal decisions at times.

It’s more of guys on there doing training camp reports. They are making it sound like this guy is a borderline Davis replacement. Which to me is insane but I guess we will see. I have imagined all year it will be 0/1/10 out there as the 3 main WRs but im starting to fear that Hollins is going to play alot. Hollins is a lock. I feel like MVS most likely is too so you are down to 1 spot for the also rans at the bottom. If they even need a 6th guy.

If you listen to what guys are saying on WGR, don’t be surprised if this guy is borderline starting.

Everyone is all over Hollins this off-season. All that extra stuff is cool but it will fall on deaf ears eventually if you aren’t any good. I hope he ends up being a productive player or else the extra stuff won’t matter.

I actually almost couldn’t feel better about what we have at backup right now. I loved it when Mitch was here before and am very happy he’s back. He can run and do a lot of the same things we want from Allen in this offense. Obviously he’s nowhere near as good but we have a fringe starter at QB2. If god forbid we had to play him for an extended period of time, I feel like we’d still have a shot. I’d take him over a handfull of current starters TBH. I couldn’t disagree more.

The season is way too short. There are ways around it to make it manageable. There’s no amount of games that is too high for me. I’ll take as much NFL as I can get.

It’s day 1 so i won’t overreact but…. I certainly hope there’s not a world where Hollins can be considered a viable option for significant playing time. The dudes a 6 on an average offense.

It was probably one of our own to motivate him. Just like I’m sure the Bills leaked the tweets before the draft so josh would fall to us.

The best/most reliable this offense was is prime Cole Beasley. Josh is a guy that Is going to make the occasional play within the framework of design but more often than not, he’s making an unexpected play after a breakdown. With his legs, or his arms or both….we need that shifty guy underneath that is uncover-able after 2 or 3 seconds. A guy with sure hands that will break free and give Josh the extra chain moving outlet. That’s what we were missing. I like the balance, I like the shift to Brady. Can one of these WRs become the security blanket when a play isn’t immediately there? If one of these guys can become that we are going to be hard to stop.

I don’t need the days to click off faster but if we can get a break fro this heat I’ll be thrilled. It can still be July but can we get some 70

The guy lost all confidence and was just slicing the ball so hard right repeatedly from like week 12 on. I’d bring in another guy to compete. Kickers are like MLB relievers. Lights out for a year and then just a nobody the next. It’s very strange.
