I used to watch sports center every day. Now it's just to easy to already know what happened. I used to love around the Horn but again...when they are beating the same stories all day, you don't want to see them again at 5. They should try and get back into Nhl and NASCAR. They certainly have the money to get some professional sports back. During the regular season college basketball is on every single espn channel at the same time. Who watches regular season college basketball? They are putting on garbage that nobody watches like soccer and regular season college sports. Less talk shows, more games

RD 5, Pick 171: Nathan Peterman (QB) - Pitt

Feels to me like a mix between Trevor Simein, Jay Fiedler and Sam Bradford -

he keeps getting answers that disprove his comment but then has to on the fly come up with qualifiers to avoid defeat. Drew Brees doesn't have a rocket arm either but if I say him, wearing gold helmets wouldnt have been allowed. -

I think people over estimate how often a QB has to drive the ball deep down field. Most of today's league is short timing routes. If this offense looks the way I expect it to, this kid could be perfect for it. I have never in my life been excited for a QB the bills have drafted....I really like this guy though -

if he doesn't count then let's just not even keep going with that. You pretty much said no QB with a weak arm can win. A QB with the weakest arm in recent memory just won a Super Bowl. That's really the end of it. -

peyton manning literally had the weakest arm in the nfl 2 years ago and won the Super Bowl. Want me to keep looking for more or can we just leave it at the 2nd most recent occurrence of championing and just move on? -

I would rather deal with a QB that may have lower level arm talent but plus accuracy and awareness...then deal with another a guy with a strong arm but has no clue how to play the position. How often do the raw QBs win anything? Those guys always get you excited and end up never changing. If you don't understand fundamentals by the time you are in the pros, your career will be over before you learn them. -

The more I'm watching about this kid, the more k like. I like a QB that you don't have to teach. We won't need to spend 3 years teaching this kid stuff that he should have learned in middle school....just go out and play -

if he ends up playing that jersey will fill the stands because it's a cool number. I don't have alot of facts to back that up. More specifically none, but I'm feeling good about it still -

Love that he's wearing #2 for whatever little that's worth -
GM Doug Whaley has been fired

Are the Bills going to just hire whoever was tipping the panthers hand on draft day? Was that the payoff? -

maybe the Chiefs were in constant talks with Whaley about a job in KC after today. -

rex probably did all he could do to convince the Pegulas that Whaley was the issue... Maybe after McDermott came in, they heard the same stuff and just said enough was enough -

I'm not saying McDermott is going to be a good coach. But he must be great at convincing the Pegulas that he knows what he's doing. This guy is taking this over and cleaning out every inch of the leftover mess. -
Now we are going to have the buddy nix game again. If you liked Whaley, and the draft picks from this year suck...they were Mcdermots picks. If you didn't like Whaley and the draft picks suck, they where whaleys picks. And what do you know, there's a QB involved again lol. Oh well, I'm good with Whaley being gone. Use two firsts to take the 4th best WR in a draft class. Hang into the worst QB in football and continue to minipulate the roster to keep him active on game days. Don't win enough and have a piss poor relationship with coach after coach...see ya.

Tyrod will not be handed starting Job
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's awesome. Just for the sake of, anyone with common sense would have a competition every year. Why would you ever not allow the best person to play? TJ Yates is better then people think. Not saying he's going to beat out Tyrod...but if it's a true competition, it won't be a blow out. Yates is a pro. -

What's with the baby sized LB's

That's where the game is headed. LBs that can run and cover. -

I like this type of QB. I'd rather see a guy that already understands the fundamentals and basics of the position, then the monster upside raw guys that usually amount to nothing. -

Chad Kelly: drafted by Denver
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would be okay with drafting Kelly today and giving him a shot. Let chad and Cardale battle it out. Better QB is the 3. Put the other one on the PS. If you loose him, you loose him. Kelly is an early round talent and if it works it would be worth the risk. If it doesn't, oh well. It's just a 5th. -
i was going to just kind of breeze right by this...I'm not sure how to prove or disprove this statement. But I would expect you might not find another person on the planet that thinks Ragland is faster then Kiko. I mean, I was going to let it go and just assume it was some sort misunderstanding...but come on. Kiko is one of the fastest LBs in the league so the plan would be to start an UDFA or 4-7 round draft pick and the most important LB spot on the team? That's an interesting take. I mean if we are looking to sign a current street FA, there are almost no quick LBs available. The time to do that has pretty much come and gone. If we are going to trade for one, my guess is they would have done that before the draft. If they are going to wait for a vet cut. I'm not sure a LB that can run and cover is just going to shake loose. The LBs that usually get cut are the old, slow, 2 down ones that won't help us in any way.
