  1. Become a full time slot WR like you should have been your whole career.
  2. i wasn't here at any point of the time I'm speaking. I came here after the BBMB shut down and have been nothing close to a Debbie downer. Must have me confused with someone else
  3. let's see how long that lasts. As long as it's not us, I could care less. I hope when we play them, somehow he has to play.
  4. Funny that I was a piraiah on the BBMB for saying that before it was cool. I fought tooth and nail with people about EJ. He was literally the worst QB in the league, but you couldn't tell that to half of that board. He was the most over protected player I can ever remember in a bills uniform. It was sad. The guy was out played by every QB on the roster, each and every year he was in buffalo. Thank god he is gone.
  5. I was really on the "not worried about losing Gillisle train," but the more time that passes...I kind of hope we add a vet RB. I'm starting to really think about how many injuries this team usually has. I'd like to see another RB brough in. One that has some starting experience. Just incase Shady misses a month or something.
  6. Moorman is the only player we have had (for a long period of time) in the drought that was top 3 at his position. Moorman is the only one I would put on there. Love Fred. But they tried to replace him every single offseason. And Fred was no where near an elite RB. Kyle is a great story, very nice player and extremely hard worker. Maybe some day for kyle.
  7. Tyrod will learn how to do it, or he will be siting on Sundays watching TJ Yates do it
  8. How many years are we away from just watching film and developing timing with some VR training system? Can we just skip to the point where we never actually practice? Maybe we can occasionally have a healthy team.
  9. he started with the Texans and won then lost in the 2nd round in a tough one to the Ravens. Wasn't his fault that they lost. I want to say that was the ravens Super Bowl year. Do you need him to have won more then 1 playoff game for this point? The Bills haven't won a single playoff game in the last 22 years.
  10. If it's truly a competition (which I doubt) Yates is going to push to start. Physically there is not comparison between Tyrod and TJ...but Yates does the things that Tyrod won't do. Take chances, put the ball in playmakers hands, get the ball out quick and on time and give the guys a chance to catch and run. Yates has started and won playoff games. He knows this offense and he knows what a professional QB is supposed to do on each play. I'm not saying he will start, but if the coaches give him a chance...he's going to make it a tough decision
  11. i mean, new coach, fired the GM, fired all the scouts, hired a new GM and some front office personnel, had the draft with a lot of trades, restructured a QB, coach won't commit to a starter at QB, Sammy's 5th year...there has been a ton to talk about. It's just not a place where people go hard after every thought. Not saying it's right, not saying it's wrong. Just saying it's not the same. This is a much more laid back place, which is probably a good thing most of the time. But let's not act like the offseason has been uneventful.
  12. I have been almost making this thread for 2 weeks but didn't want to be rude. I truly appreciate that there was another option and I appreciate the hospitality...but it's not the same. The Bills had no need to take that site down. They could have just left it and put the members in charge of doing the upkeep monitoring. It makes me sick that they took it away. I don't know how to even explain it, but I somehow feel like less of a fan without it. We were so plugged in to everything that was going on. I never went an hour without checking it. Now I feel so disconnected. The old members should just create it again the same just minus the Bills site affiliation. This place is close and in it's defense it is the offseason, but home is home. I have felt like it would be out of place to make this thread, but I'm glad someone else did.
  13. This offense is seeming to be a short pass, quick hitter, get the ball in a place for run after catch and get the ball into versitle playmakers hands underneath...that might not be the strength of Tyrod. But it might be the strength of some other Bills QBs. Obviously we will adapt to the players we have, I just picture something different then what Tyrod seems to want to do. I guess we will see what happens once the pads come on.
  14. TJ Yates has won more playoff games then the bills have in the last 21 years....I'm not saying he's going to win the job, but Yates is not bad. If Tyrod can't start to use the whole field or wants to tuck it and run whenever the play starts to break...Yates or Peterman may sneak up on him. when we handed EJ a starting job and purposely created no competition for it....Although that backfired because even the scrubs outplayed him when given a chance.
  15. I have a gut feeling Peterman is going to end up being pretty good. No actual reason for it, just old school gut
  16. I think we might be under estimating how much Tolbert is going to be a part of this offense. I think we see alot more of him then people seem to expect.
  17. I would love to have Byrd back. He never should have left. Would be perfect as a center fielder back at the Ralph in the zone we will play.
  18. Whiten will probably call Romo multiple times just to hear his voice. The cowboys are contenders, not sure if that counts
  19. Kapernick and Cutler are terrible. If a team wants to call them, go ahead. I hope it's a team we play more then once. Both of those guys are completely finnished. Romo is done. If he wanted to still play, he would be playing. Guy will get paid almost the same to not get hit and not get blamed for losses. None of those guys are going to be anything. Maybe Kap to compete for a backup job on some scrub team
  20. I would love to have V Jackson here. Follows the mold of the bigger WR and if Sammy goes down we at least have a guy that has been a legit #1 WR. Or maybe we could roll the dice on Sammy not staying healthy. Go Jackson and Jones on the outside, with Holmes in the slot and trade Sammy for a LB. I know that wouldn't be a popular move, but if the Bills are afraid of the guys injury history, I would understand it.
  21. I don't care who the GM is. It's pretty obvious that McDermott is going to have his hands on everything. The GM might as well just be a cap ologist
  22. Just hire a cap specialist as GM and let McDermott run the personnel department
  23. we are tired of the CB cycle. Draft a CB in round 1. When he gets good, don't pay him, draft another one in round 1 to replace him and repeat over and over. Never getting any better by doing that. Just hoping to stay the same.
