These are all marketing moves.

The marked down Sammy jerseys are really going to boost the economy of shopthebills.com? -
If the Bills FO can't see Tyrod as the long term solution at QB, would they trade him before the 17 season? From everything we have seen to this point, it's clear the Bills have a plan. It seems as if that plan is to gain as much draft capital as possible. Should a team (like Baltimore) come calling for Tyrod, it could have a multi pronged effect on the Bills plan coming to life. -Obviously the Bills would get something back from that team. Hopefully at least another 2nd rounder. You could probably even get a pick and a player. Maybe a guy that can help long term. -The Bills would also gain a chance to evaluate the QB they drafted this past April. You can assume Peterman would be a step down from Tyrod, but what if by some crazy turn of fate...he wasn't? At some point, law of averages is going to allow us to get lucky and hit on a guy. No Tyrod means we get a better look at the future. -Lastly, if the worst case scenario occurred and Peterman shows nothing and the Bills are terrible...at least you avoid the inbetween 6 or 7 win season that hurts our draft position. This is not the goal I would have in mind, but I suppose it's a nicely built in safety valve. If the Bills feel like Peternan can be close to a lateral move and if they could get fair value, I would probably entertain the idea of moving Tyrod. If the Bills feel like the gap is so great, that the change would sink their season before it starts..then I would rather hold out. I'm not saying this situation would even have the opportunity to occur. It's strictly hypothetical at this point, but looking at the Ravens, Broncos and maybe even Colts current situation. You never know. Obviously if we were okay dealing Sammy, anything can happen. Go Bills.

Welcome Aboard Jordan Matthews!

Did he pick a number yet? -
Watch this guy end up on the wall of fame or something lol . Everybody is down on this guy because he is the guy traded for Watkins. Watch him become awesome just completely randomly.

I like big body, possession WRs. Those are the guys who help move the chains and keep offenses on time. High pct passes are what I want. I have no issue with where we are at WR wise. I'm just not overly excited about our corner situation right now. -

I'm excited about Mathews. This trade was excellent for us ....the other one, not so much.! But welcome to the team. Wonder what # he will wear -
Go on record regarding the trades

We will be fine at WR, but I'm concerned about CB -
I would be good with seeing a 4th QB signed and let peterman play the entire game against the eagles. I don't need to see Tyrod in these meaningless games and if you want a better look at the back up, play peterman the whole game. Sign a street FA to back him up and leave Tyrod and yates in buffalo

i don't think he is a bad player. I would say that I have seen him come into tough spots in Houston and play well enough to help the team win. He has started a playoff game that they won. The bills haven't won a playoff game in 23 years. I'm not saying the guy is great or even good in most cases. But he's not bad IMO. I really didn't think he played that bad last night. There were at least 2 incompletions that were on the WRs. I'm not going to make excuses like he played well, but people are acting like he played like EJ in London. It wasn't really that bad. It was the 1st game of the preseason. Very little shown, very little done by the offense.

I get that even if the played the same exact game, people are going to act like the Rookie was miles better. Peterman looked good and I appreciate that. I hope he ends up being great but it was a half of preseason football against 3rd stringers. I also didn't think yates was terrible. He had 2 throws that looked terrible because the wrs never turned their heads around. If the performances of the two players remain similar, obviously the Bills will probably just keep the cheaper guy. I'm not saying yates was impressive, but I don't think he was as bad as people are saying. It was probably inbetween good and where fans and describing. It was a pretty pedestrian night for the offense across the board IMO. Not in any rush to get rid of Yates. No reason to rush.

Are you ready for some Peterman????
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to CountryCletus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If defenses crowded the lines and made Peterman throw downfield to beat them...could he do that? I have seen very little of him, but all I hear is that his arm is weak. I'm not saying it is, I'm not saying it's not. But if a defense had tape on him, took away the underneath stuff and made him push the ball, could he do it? That was Trent and fitz biggest issue. Defenses dared them to throw downfield and once they proved they couldn't , it was all over. You can't learn that watching tape....you either can spin it, or you can't.
