  1. Hopefully the starting WRs, CBs, DEs and S don't get injured because there is no depth.... Although if anyone needs to borrow a RB, you have our number.
  2. I don't get this Taiwan Jones missing the cut . What good does it do is to have him on this team? Maybe cheaper to not have to remake all the jones 7 jerseys from cardale?
  3. This team is almost unrecognizable. Who feels like they even know who most of these players are. It doesn't even feel like the Bills.
  4. I don't really understand the trade. You would think the Pats would have wanted to keep him as a backup QB when Jimmy G goes and gets his old team. Also not sure what the colts need him for? It's not like they are anywhere near needing a developmental QB for the future. Their starter is a kid
  5. Probably not really much room for any. "Surprises" unless you count Reilly
  6. They probably could just really use Thomas as a WR/TE hybrid. How often see we going to be 4 and 5 wide with this offense? It's not like he wouldn't be able to gain separation or use his body to block out a CB anyway. If Thomas is having blocking issues, use him more as a possession WR.
  7. Philly Brown is going to have a spot on this team based on nothing logical. The guy has done nothing here or in his entire career. Reilly deserved a spot on the team. Should have been Zay Mathews Holmes Reilly Tate or brown I want to give these guys a shot here but I'm really not liking what they are doing with the roster so far. Hope in wrong
  8. This team has been so easy to hate during stretches of this drought. The Gailey years were a disgrace to the fanbase. Last year was terrible. Most of the drought teams were hard to like....for whatever reason, aside from 04, the fitz sec of 09 and the Orton season, I really liked watching the team when Thad Lewis was the QB. He played with a lot of fire, absolutely no fear and was real fun to watch. Thad made a lot of plays. That team wasnt good but he did a good job when he was starting. I wish we kept him around for this whole time. He was better then EJ and actually made that season watchable. Of course EJ came back and made it one of the most pathetic endings to a season possible.... But I really liked Thad Lewis. Bring him back.
  9. Maybe the colts will get real irrational here with the fear of Luck never being okay this season. Maybe we can swing Tyrod over for a 2nd and a guy that can help us this year....
  10. that is completely false. In no way, shape or form was Cassel the "clear #3." He started the preseason with the 1s and was the assumed starter for most of the offseason. Tyrod eventually won the job towards the very end of the preseason but even then Cassel was going tj be the 2. Whaley tried to get his boy EJ the backup role by letting Cassel go. Then after bringing him back Cassel was immediately placed ahead of EJ on the depth chart...Doug had to get his boy a jersey on Sundays so eventually Cassel was traded.
  11. Over rated -Todd Gurley -Jay Cutler -Richard Sherman -Clay Mathews -Cam Newton Under rated -Matt Stafford -Emanuel sanders -Alex Smith -Deandre Hopkins -Shady McCoy
  12. I'm at the point now where it's year 3. We know what Tyrod is....I don't really have any interest in seeing it anymore. Peterman might end up being a pedestrian career backup....or he might not. We don't know what Peterman is. I am much more interested in finding that out, then in seeing what we already know with Tyrod. That's just my opinion. It's also funny how Sal and everyone on WGR keep saying Tyrod shouldn't lose the job unless he does something to lose it? Not just allow Petermans play in the preseason to take it? That's not how the big boy world works unfortunately. Matt Cassel did nothing to "lose" the job in the preseason a few years ago. But Tyrod Taylor went out and won it based on his play. Now the same guy is underwhelming and looking meh...and another kid is out playing him and IMO deserves the job. Let the best guy for the offense play. This offense is a drop back and throw from the pocket...it's not hard to see which QB is better at that.
  13. He's not great, but he's not terrible. There is a lot to work with there physically and he has played well in stretches. He also was an important part of a champions season and has playoff experience. If the contract from Houston wasn't so high, people would not talk about him so negatively. For the right price he would be worth a shot.
  14. Joe Haden got cut by the browns. He is probably better then any player on our team (save maybe Shady)
  15. A solid defense, excellent running game and quick decisive QB who will get the ball out on time to the playmakers. An accurate tall fundamentally sound QB that will not be afraid to hang in the pocket...that team is a team with a shot every week. I hope somehow Peterman takes the ball week 1.
  16. I think people are way to hard on him. I would probably take him over Tyrod tbh The contract made him look so much worse then he is . I like some of what he did in Houston and a lot of what he did in Denver. At a fair price I would certainly be interested in him for the right price.
  17. But wasn't he also sacked the most? That may seem like a knock on the offensive line but a lot of those are on TT. He holds onto the ball way to long. Tyrod can do amazing things when it looks like a play is dead, but he needs to stop getting to that point on every singe series. Once in a while is ok, but it seems like every 3rd down is a backyard scramble drill. Drop back, go thru the reads and throw the ball. There is way to much dancing and waiting with Tyrod. Drop back make a decison and throw the ball.
  18. Maybe the under pressure numbers are a little less scary, because unlike Taylor he actually gets rid of the ball quick?
  19. Moorman, if he counts. Certainly was probably their best player of a decade. Might not actually count as a star though
  20. Why would you even bother signing a 0 like this guy? Why wouldn't you bring in a guy that can actually play? Aren't we evaluating roster spots? How does a guy who is like the 50th guy out of the league here, help you do that? Bring in a vet QB that can run an offense so we can figure out what WRs to keep
