Why I Think the Smart Move is Pay to Get Cousins
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They got rid of all his recievers and they havent had a good running back in years. The surrounding cast in Washington is about as bare as any team in the NFC. They have very little tallent. He also puts up incredible numbers regardless. The guy is good. He is very good. He would be worth the money. -

Because it takes more then 1 player to win. Which alot if people can’t seem to comprehend. Just because you have a good QB, doesn’t mean you are going to be a top tier team. We already have the solid support cast. We just need the qb now. Phillip Rivers? Eli Manning? Joe Flacco? Derrick Carr? Andrew Luck? Matt Stanford? All of these guys are considered good or great by most people. In the last few years they have about as many playoff wins combined as we do. You need more then just a QB. -

Well, I do. We never have a good QB. Paying one, would be a good problem to have at some point. This guy would probably be the second best qb in franchise history (if he keeps up his current play). It’s our best shot at getting to the Steelers and patriots level. -

Just give him more money then anyone else. That should help. -

Why I Think the Smart Move is Pay to Get Cousins

I want Cousins. I don’t want to settle for the 4th or 5th guy in the draft and nobody else available is as good as Cousins. Pay him, get a real qb for a change and let’s start challenging for Div titles. -
Oh don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the current ones. The ONLY way I would want it changed, is if we went back to those other ones. Nothing new or different.

Late 90s puma’s with the seemingly brighter red on the helmets weee beautiful. The 98/99 ish roads with that Bright red helmet...doesn’t get much better then that.

I love our current uniforms. The only way I would be excited for a change, is if we went back to the late 90s (Rob Johnson Flutie era) with slight upgrades. I would love that.

IMO, He was literally the worst QB I have ever seen start significant time in the nfl. There is not a current qb in the nfl, starting or backing up that I would want less. Not exaggerating, I mean that 100%. Before people start saying you would rather have “blank?” if the name is of a qb in the league, then the answer is yes. Hope that clears it up.

Seahawks may embrace a college style offense
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I used to really get involved in these serious conversations about this when Tebow played. I believe a full blown college offense (spread or even option) CAN work in the NFL for a period of time. But the situation has to be perfect. At that time I was more talking about it working with Tebow specifically. And I meant it for a team with trouble selling tickets and generating interest. If you build up your defense so that you aren’t constantly playing catch up and you get 2 excellent RBs and at least 1 good FB, find the best blocking WRs and TEs you can find. Get a road grader offensive line, you could probably beat teams. I know nfl defenses are faster then college defenses, but stoping that style of power option is not about speed. You also would have the ability to drop in 5-8 passes a game to keep teams honest. I would love to see a team without a lot going for them at the Qb position, go all in and try it once. If you had no franchise qb and needed to generate some points in another way, it would be a good idea. Gutsy, but good. -
Cordy Glenn for Andy Dalton
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to uticaclub's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Orton, Bledsoe and Fitz were all better. They just never had complete teams or Shady McCoy. If Orton had any run game, the drought would have been over in 2014. If Fitz had any recievers or not the worst Defenses and Head Coach in Bills history, who knows. Bledsoe had probably the best shot but fell just short. Numbers and stats do not always tell the entire story. I’m forever in debt to Tyrod for ending this drought and he will always have a special place in every Bills fans heart..But I don’t agree with him being a better qb then all of those other guys. What Orton did with no running game, a very tough schedule, no offseason and jumping right in week 5, is very impress IMO. If he had 3 straight years as a starter, things would have been different. -
If the OC is Bevell I see 2 Things.....
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to JMF2006's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Seahawks had the dumbest offense in the nfl. It had no direction, it was the most frustrating thing to watch in football. Every play was Wilson running around like a chicken with his head cut off and then just lobbing a lollipop down the field. Sometimes they get a pass interference or some times it’s incomplete. I want nothing to do with Bevell. I hate that offense. I would have rather kept Denison. -
Mike McCoy won't be the OC per Carucci
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nah. This guy is a good coach. He just needs to learn a little bit about in game decision making. He will get there. -

I don’t like the way McDermott is on actual game days with in game decisions, clock management and even some personnel decisions...but man I like this coach. This team is ready to play from during the week prep. We have good game plans. The guys play hard. The system makes sense and he doesn’t put up with bull ****. If you are an issue or you don’t perform, you are either cut, trades or fired. I like this guy. No messing around. -

I think he’s good. If there is any chance we keep Tyrod, he would be a good OC for him. I’m also good with him should we go another direction. -

From the min he was fired, I expected Shula to be our OC -
That’s what I expect too. We are pretty much Panthers north. If the new panthers owner gets silly and wants their own new identity, I could see the Bills trying to trade for Cam.

Article from Yahoo Sports on Mayfield
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to DefenseWins's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But he was a terrible passer and was clueless about reading defenses. He had some of the worst footwork I have ever seen in the NFL. He couldnt throw the same pass twice. I want a guy without limitation. -

I have watched him several times. I don’t want him. Im not saying he’s not good, I’m not saying he won’t be good. I just don’t think it will work, mainly because of his height and I would rather let another team take that chance.
