I truly don’t care what the situation is, there are no excuses. You have to win this game. I don’t care what it looks like, nobody feels bad for you. You are playing a team that looks horrible and fired their coach this Tuesday. You are the 4 time defending division champ and they are the longest playoff drought in professional sports. Win. No other words. No grey area. Score 1 more then they do.

Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams

Screw it go get Hopkins or Cooper then. Or 🤷♂️both -
Cook and Shakir return to practice.

I feel like either way we should bring Gore up. This offense has been severely lacking the last 2 games. I think he had some juice. Haven’t like what I have seen from Davis so far and Johnson just a guy. Maybe get a shot in the arm with a diamond in the rough. Never know when a guy will come in and flash -

The only thing I’ll say is we are at our best when Josh runs. I often say he’s the best PLAYER in the league but he’s not the best QB. Mahomes is better. What josh can gives you with his legs makes him the most important player though. This guy needs to run. I don’t care what conventional thought is or the risk. He’s not going to be the guy we need if you coach him into playing like Phillip Rivers. Just turn him loose and live with the old heads not understanding it. Do not coach the animal out of him. Our best play since 2018 has been josh running.

Hire Saleh as defensive coordinator IMMEDIATELY
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t like him as a coordinator either. The 49ers were better before he got there and better after he left. We absolutely shredded his Defense when he was there. I was including that in the coach part. He’s terrible -
Who starts at safety this week?
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Play Rapp and Bishop. We took the Hamlin thing as far as it needed to go and then several steps further. Back to STs please. Or here’s a wild idea? How about Edwards. You know, the guy we brought in here to start? But now he can’t even get a jersey on a team with horrendous S play….just spitballing -
Hire Saleh as defensive coordinator IMMEDIATELY

The guy is a terrible coach. I wish the jets kept him. If you wanted to bring him in this week as an assistant to essentially get intel on the jets defense…I’m good with that -
Certainly wish they waited a week lol

I’m not saying I don’t take a chance. I’m absolutely higher on Mitch than most people. I actually think he’s pretty good for a backup. I just knew, no shot we were letting him pass. McDermott was not giving up the FG. I was actually more afraid Bass would just miss it.

The next 5 games are very winnable.

This team is not capable of winning 5 in a row. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we lose to the jets -
Nobody’s arguing that it’s not what it is. We are saying it’s not good enough. As has been clear the last 2 weeks. If you aren’t willing to come off your plan once it goes sideways, then you aren’t fit for the job. If the vision was to have no offensive success and get shut down by decent defenses, it’s not acceptable. The bengals had whatever they wanted against the Ravens yesterday. We were completely dominated by them. This isn’t good enough. I realize the Bills expected that these nobody WRs were good enough…they aren’t. Fix it

Throughout the McDermott/Beane era it has often felt like a time for action is obvious. Seems like we hit a snag in the regular season (Sometimes it’s injury related, sometimes it’s talent negligence, coaching etc) Either way it seems like we are here annually. The frustration exists because it seems like we never actually address it. This team tends to pass the issue down the line and just assume the QB will bail them out. I don’t know how many years of Allen’s prime we are willing to burn but I’d have to think it’s starting to boil over behind the scenes. I feel comfortable in saying the majority of us feel like a need at WR needs to be made. How many of us feel like it will actually happen? I’m not talking about bringing up marginal fringe roster players from a PS. I’m talking about one of the guys that can actually help. Proven players that are upgrades to what we currently have? We can talk about it all we want but im just assuming we will watch the serious teams make moves and we will sit around holding out excuses.

The guy probably would have dropped it anyway. He shouldn’t be on the field. It’s truly that simple. He’s a 5/6 on an average team. The roster construction is inexcusable. You don’t have a replacement for Diggs? You don’t trade him. You are paying him regardless

If you let him throw there and he throws a pick when you have the chance to take the lead..you’d never let Brady live that down

Whatever. Move onto next week.

Not challenging that clear catch in the first half was so dumb. Even if you lost it what’s the harm. The way the end of the game went almost made me forget how dumb that was. Points on that drive might have really changed the game -
Around the NFL - Week 5

You want to give us the weapons on either of those teams? I bet we would relax then. Those teams number 3 guys are probably better than anyone we have. -
Whatever. Move onto next week.
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nobody is getting open. And we can’t get off the field on 3rd down. Josh was 9 for 30 today. I have no reason to assume wins against anyone. The playoffs are far from a comfortable certainty -
Whatever. Move onto next week.
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if we lose to the Jets next week. And they aren’t good….what’s that tell you? As is we are going nowhere. If we win the weakest div in football, you aren’t beating anyone good like this. Our WR are terrible. I gave them the benefit of the doubt when they balked on the draft and the off-season. This is bull####. Go trade for Adams or Cooper. You aren’t going anywhere with this and you’re going to piss off Allen -

Brianmoorman4jesus replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is the strangest I have felt after a loss in forever. I almost made peace with it at halftime only to get hurt again. Now I don’t even know what to think about this team going forward. It certainly feels like the season is going nowhere. It’s been a bunch of great years back to back and it’s sad to go back to this. Our coaching is as clueless today as it was day 1. Our 3rd down defense is inexcusable. Every big spot we come up small. I’m not sure what to even think
