  1. Make the playoffs = successful anything less will be not good enough
  2. Imagine what Elway tenure would look like in Denver if Manning didn’t want to go there? Considering Manning basically had his choice of anywhere he wanted to go, I don’t see how Elway mattered. Great players almost never make good executives. The guy will hire the wrong coach again and they will suck.
  3. The funny part is, while he played Anderson was a guy with loads of physical talent but the head of a cave man. Somehow now he is this intellectual, thinking mans - QB coach in a helmet? It really is confusing. It simply is the fact that almost every veteran QB “gets it” after time. If you look at almost any qb that has been in the nfl for over 9 or 10 years...they will probably be very capable of running a professional offense at an acceptable level. That’s why I always want that Kyle Orton guy on the team. They won’t wow you with flash but they know where the ball has to go AND when it has to be there. A QBs job is probably 80% before the snap. The young guys usually just don’t have enough information library to make intelligent presnap decisions. That’s why the Eagles play better with Foles. There is no way to measure what I am saying, but it’s true. This offense was completely different when both DA or Barkley played. The ball was out quick and I bet if you asked Dabol, it went to the guy it should go to. Allen is crazy talented and fun to watch and overall made a lot of great plays. But the way the offense looked with him was night and day. Sometimes in a good way. Anderson knows what will work, he’s just not physically capable of delivering it personally. Hopefully he can stuff that into a more capable vessel in Josh Allen. There is a funny balance that goes on (for a qb) where physical ability diminishes as mental capability increases. The longer those two things are lined up on an acceptable level, the bigger our “window” will last.
  4. I will say Lorenzo Alexander. Simply because he can do so much. He can play the run, rush the passer, make plays in coverage and also plays all units of ST. Not to mention his leadership and the fact that off the field he was our Walter Peyton man of the year rep. Alexander is super physical and never misses tackles. I would say he is the only guy on the defense that never goes backwards. If it was just Defense...I might give it to Poyer. But if it’s an all things considered Bills MVP, I’ll say 57
  5. I know it’s crazy but I really think the Eagles are going to win that game
  6. Sony Michel should be higher. I think Lamar Jackson is about 3 starts away from being figured out and made ineffective. We have 2 rookie corners and 1 rookie WR that wouldnt be to far off of the back of this list. If we fix the Oline and the ST this offseason, we might have something here.
  7. Making things happen this offseason
  8. They should have an athletic ST guy be the holder. You could probably execute some cool fakes. Maybe you could use a guy that could run or pass. It would have been cool to use Joe Webb
  9. I keep seeing people saying we need another corner. I just can’t understand that. We have a great corner that is in year 2 and 2 of the 5 best rookie corners in the nfl. We might be set there for 10 years.
  10. Yes. Hated the pick on draft night. Now I am at least optimistic and even probably impressed. I still have reservations but I do genuinely like him.
  11. Idk how he could not be. The STs has been the biggest weakness for two straight seasons. Get him out
  12. I mean, the last thing we need is more cap space. We are good. We will probably have a tough time spending enough of what we already have.
  13. Off season starting on a good note. -Anderson extended -Castillo fired Let’s get it
  14. He is but he’s way to much of an ####### for these guys. He’s not a bean or Mcd type of guy off the field
  15. Thank god. Now get in there and fire Crossman. Let’s go here. The ST cost us at least 1 entire game this year and most likely 2. We are either a bad play or a penalty on every STs snap.
  16. Pats Saints i will say the Pats win but with each passing week I feel less and less confident. i do think the Eagles will beat the bears this week. It’s completely irrelevant to the thread. Just throwing it out there
  17. Not give up but certainly not impressed enough to start. There are more linemen then just the starters
  18. When you really go back and think about how hard the beginning of our schedule was it’s crazy @ Bal Chargers @ Min @ Gb ten @ Hou Then @ind ne chi ridiculous
  19. There was a generic “fans of buffalo” and “fans from ny” one on yahoo. I wish I knew about this one from the beginning I def would have got in. I ended up with 167, it took 175 to win. I was 24th idk how many ppl were actually in it. Hopefully you guys do this again next year.
  20. It’s hard to pretend to evaluate another teams Oline. It’s hard enough to make yourself watch our own. There are guys available that are widely considered upgrades. My hang up is which of our own lineman do we think are good? I seldom agree with personnel decisions made by Mcd. If I was the GM, I am at least upgrading both guards. I might be the rare person that is ok with Bodine. I think both starting Guards need to be changed. Much more physical, run blocking guards. I would even probably be ok with thinking Dawkins can be that guy, moving him inside and getting a Cornerstone LT. If the only returning starter on the Oline next year is Dawkins, im cool with that too. There are a lot of ways it can go but I would say at least 2 starters need to be brought in.
  21. In a second I would. I would prefer to try and not use our first to do so, but if the Bills traded 9 for AJ..I would be ok. I want proven talent at the skill position and I wouldn’t worry to much over how we get it. I think maybe a 2nd and a 4th could get it done? Had to say. It depends on how bad the Bengals want to rebuild. The Bengals are also super cheap so they would probably be one of the teams that would love to unload salary.
  22. I want them to spend the money in FA on fixing the lines. I know it’s not sexy but there are no WRs or RBs in FA that I would even bother with. Use the money we have to fix the trenches. Then in the draft go nothing but skill position players. We are nowhere near physical enough and I don’t want rookies on the line in front of Allen. I want proven vets that understand the NFL game and that will come in and fix the run game immediately.
  23. He’s definitely not good. I think he’s borderline the most overrated player in the league. I will say though he absolutely ran us over and had he not been thrown out, we would have lost that game. For whatever reason he brought it that day but overall I still don’t think he’s good.
  24. If there is 1 singular player on the Bills offense (in the last 20 years) that deserves the benefit of the doubt it’s Shady. He literally is the biggest reason the drought ended and the best skill position player the Bills have had since the super bowl years. I’m totally fine with giving him a chance to show that this year was a fluke. He is the 1 guy that deserves that.
  25. Green will do nothing to upset anything we are doing. Not a disaster in any way.
