How many running backs are we going to carry? Are we getting rid of Ivory? Then fine. This might make a little bit of sense. This is a very pointless and dumb signing. Nobody being objective is going to think it was smart. I get there are people that are just going to eat up whatever the Bills serve up but come on. This was dumb. Plain and simple.

This team has done some of the dumbest things imaginable over the past 15 years. Nothing ever surprises me with these guys. Almost no matter what gore does, this will be completely pointless. You could have drafted a 21 year old in the 5th round and instead you just paid 2 million to a 36 year old running back...

If he was interested in coming and actually wanted to participate...I know people are going to hate it but I would give them #9 for OBJ. It won’t happen and the Bills wouldn’t be that aggressive with a top half 1. I’m just saying if (it was me) and if thats what I thought it would take to get it done. I’d be in. Again. Totally hypothetical and I believe there is a less then 1% chance we end up with obj.

I live an hour from met life surrounded by giant fans. I hate the stuff OBJ does but he is incredible. If he ever somehow went to the Bills....I’d be absolutely stunned but my god he would be a big help. I can’t even get myself to pretend it’s possible.

Listening to Steve tasker on this “one bills live” is tough. Hes like a guy that goes in to clean the bathrooms but when he got there, the boss told him every other employee called out and he has to go on the radio.

If his performance is so amazing why would he even be available? He doesn’t have character issues and doesn’t want more or even make a lot of money. Seems like he would be the type of guy a team would hang onto?

We absolutely do no need another RB that’s over 30. Certainly not one that’s way over it.

I would trade for Jones or AJ Green. Absolutely. No question about it. I would have also loved it had the Brown deal gone through.

He was hurt a lot. When he didn’t play though he looks like he’s a handful. I might even be okay with Shaq bring thrown back in the mix here. I’m not looking to TRADE anything for a pass rusher and certainly not use a top (few) rounds pick on one. There are to many other massive holes.

I would be very interested in Hyde. I think he got lost in the shuffle last year in Jacksonville but he is a very good RB. Maybe you can put Hyde in with Shady and Ivory and wait 1 more year to draft a RB. 1 less hole to fill with a pick.

The defense was top 3 in the league last year and the biggest issue is the passiveness of the DC. If they want to change that and let Mcd be the DC, I’m all for it. Stop wasting all these top line assets on the only unit on the team that’s good. We have probably the 2nd or 3rd best secondary in football. Excellent young Safety’s. 3 corners that have pro bowl potential and the oldest of them is in year 3. Two amazingly athletic LBs. An veteran utility player that can do almost anything you ask of him including rush the passer. The most underrated Bill of the last decade and a top 10 pass rusher in Jerry Hughes. Star, Harry and Phillips inside....And we just paid Murphy. We do not need any more defense. We need almost everything else. Move on and fix the rest of the team. Score some points. No Barr, No Clark, do not waste a pick in the first 4 rounds on Defense. Fix the offense and the special teams.

What was the purpose of paying Trent Murphy at this point? Stop wasting top assets on the defense. The defense is good. It’s built. Move on. The rest of the team is a wasteland. Fix the offense and STs. Forget about the defense for a bit.

People are happy now that we almost had the best WR in football but didn’t pull it off. If that trade actually happened, it might have been the single best thing the Bills have done in the post super bowl era. He’s a headache...He’s also a first ballot hall of famer and the best WR in football. The guy is also still in his prime unlike the basically done T.O. You win games with good players. At some point the silliness around off the field attitudes have to not matter as much. You have to actually be good and good players make you good usually. What a shame.

What a person to replace Alex Smith with. Basically the same exact guy, only with less winning.

I have said the same thing from day 1. Use the money in FA to fix the online. College football doesn’t develop Olineman now and there are no skill position players in FA that I want. But the linen and draft the skill. I am not saying draft every pos of need. In the first 3 rounds I want us to draft a TE a WR and RB. We should be able to get top players at each of those positions.

Just draft one in the first 2 rounds

I keep seeing all the measurable oddities with Metcalf but can he play? Can he catch the ball and get open and play football? I don’t know a lot about the guy. Is he a good player or just a physical freak?

I want to go out and draft the best TE in college football. I don’t care if it’s round 1. Just get one. I’m tired of the bills having a te that’s in the 18-25 range. I want a TE that’s truly top end. A guy like Ertz or Kelce or Olson. Not a guy that’s just out there but not terrible. To me that’s what Jessie James is. We don’t need another one of those guys. Go out and draft a truly elite playmaker at TE for the first time in Bills history. Enough of these pedestrians.

Wouldn’t it be pretty smart for the Cardinals to tell people that so they could drive up the price for a trade? Let people think they love that qb to force teams hands. Haven’t we learned to never believe anything you hear pre draft?

Maybe he will cut his brother a break and give Washington a deal.
