I would absolutely bring in Bowman and Hankins. This front 7 is terrible against the run. Both guys are probably not looking for long term deals. Two vets that can get us to the playoffs this year and not eat up long term spots.

Kyle is an all everything Bill and is impossible to criticize on a board like this...but our run defense has been so bad for so much of his career. A ton of variables in that time period, but he has been the constant. Kyle is a fan favorite, probably will be a wall of famer, all drought team, face of the Bills 2000’s..I bet with him out, we end up stopping the run better. Won’t be a popular opinion, won’t be agreed with, but we shall see.

The guy we are signing is going to be cut before week 1. We all understand that...Let’s just think about the narrative created when we cut Kap. Imagine if he even played slightly decent against 3rd stringers. The Bills would become the most hated team in sports by the general media. The team that cut Kapernick. Even though that is the plan regardless of who it is. Upset half of your own fans by signing him, then infuriate the liberal media once you cut him... How about we just avoid that whole situation.

They will probably just sign a real cheap nobody like we always do. Rather then actually pay a guy that can help us evaluate some positions, we will bring in a QB that nobody has ever seen or heard of before. Moore or Anderson would be good enough to make the team and Moore is probably good enough to start for us. No way we pay a real guy at this stage in the game. It will be a guy that wasn’t even a top 30 college qb when he played. That guy will get all of game 4 and will help us figure out nothing about our fringe skill position players.

At this point, start Allen. I doubt we lose anything with him playing and we might gain some.

A team that’s 1-31 in the last 2 seasons is blowing us off the ball on both sides. Where is the physicality

I don’t agree with that but I’m talking about this year. You don’t make teams based on last year. The other guy has a stronger leg. Schmidt doesn’t look to be where he was IMO.

Schmidt is terrible. Get Carter in.

Not that it’s going to get any play here but our back up punter is better then Schmidt. Field position is something that matters, I hope this is a thing the coach sees.

The national media knows less about the Bills then 90% of the people on this board. I never understand why so many people get upset over it. Who cares what they say or think about anything Bills related? When they have John Clayton on WGR, it’s pathetic. The guy doesn’t even act like he cares about the Bills, even if just to keep up appearances. ESPN as a whole barely comprehends anything outside of the basic generalizations. The guys that actually cover the team every day, hold the opinions with value. It’s nice to see activity on a TV screen that centers around the Bills, but nobody on these shows pays any attention to us. Don’t worry about what they think.
