  1. They should have just signed some scrub to play qb the entire game and then kept all 3 QBs on the roster and healthy. With this oline, all 3 May play in the first month of the regular season.
  2. I think draft picks in the NFL are the single most over valued thing in sports. Go back and look at our last 10 to 15 first round picks and see how many pairs of them, you wouldn’t trade straight up for Mack. It’s all moot anyway. Teams don’t think that way and this is never going to happen. A team might pull off a deal but it won’t be the Bills.
  3. Shaq Lawson was a first round pick. Give them a 1 and Shaq. That can count as 2 “first round picks” on a technicality
  4. There is no penalty for saying a guy is starting and then not playing him. I’d announce the 3rd string qb as the starter and then start a different guy against the Ravens.
  5. The guy has been here for 1 year. In that year we made the playoffs for the first time in 17 seasons. We moved headaches for multiple picks and players. We won without all of those guys Whaley favored. Brought in several veterans that helped make last season very special. We beat Atl in Atl, KC in KC, swept Miami...No games that count have been played this year and people are down on the GM? The last game we played was a playoff game. Are people really like this? Football is a team game. The team is better. Don’t be surprised if we end up being good again this year. For once the guys in charge know what they are doing. How can anyone be down on the Bills front office in the offseason following the drought ending?
  6. I’d say start Peterman and just keep 3 QBs. If the wheels come off you have options and if Allen looks really ready, maybe you can trade AJ before the deadline.
  7. Based on every time he has ever played for the Bills. He gets the back out very fast. Never holds it. Maybe that has been a fault at times, but he gets the ball out faster then Allen. I don’t know how anyone can even argue that.
  8. Yes I do. Without question would have done better. Peterman gets the ball out quick and reads the pre snap better.
  9. Only 1 qb moved the ball against 1s in the entire preseason. Bottom line, Peterman moved it and scored against everyone he faced. Which included 1s in week 1. Good, then start the only qb that played good against 1s. And it was still the same guy.
  10. If Peterman doesn’t start then we didn’t have a competition. If it was a battle, he won and it wasn’t close.
  11. I would say go get Peterman, Dez. Give him two big bodied guys who can box out the defenders and use body position to move the chains. Throw in Shady and Clay and we might be okay. Got to find away to get some pass rush but that’s tough at this stage in the game.
  12. But Petermans ball is out before the pressure gets there. That’s the difference. That’s what Rex used to cry about against NE. Nothing he did mattered because the ball was out to fast.
  13. Every good performance (up to this point) from Allen has been against the 2s or 3s. Only peterman has moved it against starters.
  14. This is the modern day nfl offense. Quick horizontal and diagonal passing game. Long hand off, catch and run move the chains. Quick, on time accurate.. The Al Davis bomb ball is a relatively dinosaur. Petermans arm will be fine.
  15. This is why I wanted to see Peterman get a drive or two against the starters. Hard to tell if they are just moving it on trash or if we have something with Nate
  16. Peterman has like a 90% comp pct with 3 tds this preseason and they are talking like he might still have an outside chance here...
  17. I think he learned from that. Peterman also seems to be the only guy that figured out he should throw it to 13. Peterman is only in his 2nd year. Maybe the best thing that ever happened to him was that charger game. Get that out of the way, learn from it and come out the other end smarter and stronger.
  18. Peterman sees it and pulls the trigger. There is zero hesitation. Last year that cost him a little, maybe this offense is better suited for that type of play.
  19. Peterman has run THIS offense better then any other qb on the roster all preseason and it’s not even close. I wanted to see Allen win this thing today but at this point, you have to start Nate. The kid has put the work in. He looks a little like a mixture of Cousins and Pennington to me. Not as good as either but not to bad.
