  1. I would say the practice squad is a perfect spot for a hybrid player. Like a young joe Webb. A QB that can take snaps in a practice and not embarrass himself, but also a guy you can split out or play on STs. Maybe a guy that has a better chance to make the big team at a pos other then QB. But still would hold value in a situation where a team only wants to carry 2 QBs. That Braxton Miller would be a perfect ps guy. You can use him to give the QBs a blow but then also see if he can’t emerge at a dif position.
  2. Just have to be careful on which site. They are not all safe credit card wise. The last time I tried ordering one, I got a message from my bank asking if I was trying to authorize a charge for a dif ammount from a dif chinese site. Had to get a new debit card.
  3. The only people that are surprised by the China quality, don’t own or look at the actual ones. Anyone that understands what they are looking at can tell the dif. All you have to do is look at the numbers. It’s not a big deal, I have a few of the cheap ones. If I go to a road game and don’t wanna beer spilled on a good one, I have a few cheapies in the Hoper
  4. Wasn’t Matt Cassel tech the starting qb for that first year Tyrod played? Came in for the first play of week 1, then Tyrod played the rest. I remember seeing that win against the colts somehow not credited to Tyrod. Not that it matters. Just a reminder of the circus that was Rex Ryan
  5. Nice, thanks. Ray Ray going to be taped over a lot of Fitz/Sammy’s lol
  6. The bills store better print up a few Peterman jerseys. Get a few 2’s in the stands for the home opener. Let’s show the kid some respect
  7. Peterman reminds me a little of Alex Smith. I really think if Dabol does this thing right, Peterman might be pretty good. I really don’t think it’s a downgrade from Tyrod. I think KB will be the happiest player in the locker room. I hope on the first drive against Baltimore we try a 40 yard shot down field, just to show them we will push it with Nate. I’m very happy for the kid.
  8. If this was a QB competition, Peterman won and it wasnt even close. Nice to see McDermott actually stick to that and not just hand jobs to people like the EJ days.
  9. I would say now they should bring in Dez. The way Peterman plays, KB gets a ton of looks. Big body, possession, physical, will use body position to be open when he’s not. Get 2 of those guys on the outside and let’s keep the chains moving.
  10. Disagree. Doesn’t matter. It’s an opinion, impossible to prove. Not a surprise that you feel that way. He’s the Bills QB now, it’s in all our best interest that he plays well. I hope he plays so well that there is no thought of playing someone else.
  11. Getting the ball out quickly is 90% of this. Peterman is capable of executing this modern day, quick read and deliver, Brady style passing game. That’s why he looked good in mop up duty last year. That’s why they benched Tyrod last year, that’s why Peterman is the starter now. The issue is, that also led to some of the picks. Hopefully he learns from the mistakes and doesn’t end up having guys jump routes and rip balls up to the Defense.
  12. He put the work in and he deserves it. He clearly won the competition. I think if the bills can block, he will play well. I wish they put a few deep balls on tape in the preseason so teams wouldn’t press.
  13. Because if you have seen him in the preseason, he sucks. Idk if he’s hurt or just something is off. He has been terrible. He needed to be cut.
  14. Cut. What really sucks is the kid that got hurt was going to win the job (IMO)...things happen in football but the punter getting hurt in preseason is not one you usually think about
  15. I feel better about it now that Schmidt is gone. He was terrible all preseason and never really good to begin with. Now that he’s gone, I feel good about it.
  16. The guy would have been a 4th round pick but inexplicably was thrust into round 1 by an out of touch dinosaur. Everyone acts like they feel bad for him. He’s one of the worst QBs I have ever seen and never made any progress from week 1 of his rookie year. The Guy was just handed money and jobs year after year because one guy overdrafted him. He is one of the luckiest guys in NFL history.
  17. On the BBMB I was in all out war over EJ almost daily. He was a top 3 Bills bust of all time and the worst QB in the NFL. Not worst starting QB, worst QB...counting all of the backups. The guy had the footwork of a 4th grader. People kept saying how “big” his arm was, I never once saw him throw a ball hard. Accuracy of Ray Charles and footwork of a grade schooler. I was the biggest Thad Lewis supporter that ever lived on the old messageboard. People thought I was crazy because of that. Everyone overlooked the fact that it had nothing to do with Lewis. I just never wanted EJ to hurt my team again. It was anybody but EJ halfway through year 1. You don’t need to see a ton to figure out a guy doesn’t have “it” Week 3 against the Jets was when I got real nervous..After the @TB and @Pit disasters, it was over.
  18. Shady is pretty much this entire team. He is the one legitimate blue chip superstar skill position player we have had in the post super bowl era. I’m not sure how anyone can watch this team every week and not just be amazed at this guy. Until he is gone, everything we do on offense is going to be run through him. Nothing about this preseason should even matter to anyone. Now we have a few guys behind him that can play a little bit too. I hope we fix the oline over the next few days and just overwhelm people with our RBs. Hand it to them, pitch it to them, throw screens to them...We have very little talent on offense. We have a guy that is a hall of fame level player in the backend of his prime...This should be like the OJ teams IMO. I don’t care about the optics and how unorthodox it is in this era, just win.
  19. I would take Cooper a Deonte back. Also Shane Lechler although not on that list.
  20. A few decent WRs out there. Wright, Thompson and Kamar Aiken. Nothing special but compared to what we have, not terrible.
