  1. I think Croom is better anyway. To bad we didn’t keep O’Leary. Croom and O’Leary would have been better then any of Clay this season
  2. Why bother? They brought in 2 guys to do what he should be doing midway through the season. If there is 1 coach that wants to see what the young guys have and will give rookies a look, it’s Mcd. If he’s inactive today and 2 WRs that have bee here for less then 2 weeks are active...the guys getting cut
  3. There is literally no reason for Ray Ray Mcloud to be on this roster. Both of those new WRs are active today? Just get rid of Ray Ray and stop wasting the spot.
  4. Let’s wait until after the season because I still think they end up winning the AFC. They might win the Super Bowl again. Then I’m not really going to want to hear how weak they are
  5. I want to see white tops red pants once. Might look ridiculous but I think it might be okay. I also want to see the red color rush with the throwback helmet. So the logo and helmet are red and white too.
  6. When it happens it happens. Every year people rush to report the end and nothing ever comes of it. I’m not buying it until the day Brady actually leaves NE, or until Bill actually leaves NE. I hope it happens but il believe it when I see it.
  7. How is this stadium the best option for the chargers? Even a decent college stadium would probably be better
  8. The current Ravens offense is what I always wanted us to look like, when we had Tyrod
  9. I hope the Redskins make the playoffs. They are such a disrespected team. They are super physical and play teams really tough. I’d love to see the cowboys choke away that div and the (forgotten) Redskins win it.
  10. I want to see Foster add a 10+ catch day here in one of these last 2 games. A game where we are making an effort to just feed him from the start. See if he can be a complete WR that uses the entire field and route tree. Let’s see where this thing can go.
  11. From day 1 nobody has covered Foster. He just dropped a bunch early on or isn’t found or hit. The guy gets open and now that he’s catching the ball, it’s all coming together. I hope we start to game plan towards getting him going early and get him a few catch and runs right on the first drive. Start treating him like a go to guy. He has a lot of yards but nowhere near enough targets or catches.
  12. Love to see Foster keep this going out the door with 1 or 2 more 100 yd games and a shot at being a legit #1 WR heading into the offseason
  13. What I’m saying, let’s say a play is run that takes 8 secs off the clock and they call defensive holding. They don’t put that time back on the clock. So on a penalty you essentially lost the time of a play and often didn’t get enough yards for it to even matter. After the play is over they should put that time back. Why punish the offense?
  14. Why would anyone have an issue with this rule? Of all the ridiculous things that get called constantly and drive people crazy, this isn’t even a blip on the radar IMO. Change the asinine overtime rules. Or the way pass interference is called. Coaches challenges are ridiculous. Throwing a silly little red flag and losing them even when you are correct. Stop letting the clock run on penalties that get accepted. At the end of a game when a team is hurrying up and you have an accepted penalty on the defense, they still run the time off the clock. At that moment time is more important then the yards. There are dozens of rules that bother me more then the touchback.
  15. Still would have liked to see him play at least 1 more game to see what he was
  16. I know what the plays were. I’m just saying, if you watch..way to often on 3rd or 4th down if Allen’s first guy isn’t there he panics and wants to try and run for it. He is to quick to put it on himself. That’s what a competitor does, I like the fire. But he’s got to stay in there and throw sometimes. I want him to keep the mobility in his game. I think that’s what could make him good. I just also want him to feel like he can throw for conversions and be more patient.
  17. I saw the first down on a 4th down that sealed the game and the 4th down that they went for and missed. Both runs by Allen. I didn’t say every significant play was a run. I just mean the big time pressure spots (4th down) were runs.
  18. I wanted us to go for it and I kind of expected us to. I also felt like given the chance, Allen was going to play hero ball and try and run for it. I also felt like every other person in the stadium, including the Lions knew that. It went pretty much exactly how I expected. He’s got to try and be a passer first. All day he seemed to get that until the biggest spots.
  19. That’s not as strange as it is common. My guess is most people feel that way.
  20. I never was interested in just giving away an entire season. We made the playoffs last year and shouldn’t have been far off. I think there have been 3 or 4 losses that would have really turned this season around and none of it was the result of “learning” I think it’s a dicey situation when you start giving up on seasons in August. There are way to many variables and no “next season” is ever a given. Allen has been better then I expected but not good enough for me to feel like this season was a success. The only thing I can say that we might have actually gotten out of this year, is Foster. I have serious doubts about the HC and the priorities of this team. I think there are a few things to be optimistic about but there are more questions then answers. I realize most people were completely fine with just giving this season away, I just wasn’t one of them. McDermott can get cute with this “process” all he wants...but if he try’s to write off next season and we are out of it by Halloween again, he’s going to get fired. Then all of this will have been for nothing.
  21. I mean, it hasn’t been proven wrong at any point. It’s just what has happened. Any time Mcd speaks he preaches this process and character. Anyone that has rocked the boat or doesnt fit into what they want behavior-wise is gone. Dareus, Sammy, Incognito. It’s pretty clear the coach wants high character players. I don’t think that’s ever been hidden. I’m not even saying it’s the wrong approach. They just won’t bring in Chad Kelly. Even if he was very good. They wouldn’t do it. Sorry that it bothers you. Josh Gordon is excellent and has been a constant headache. If he was available and could help us, we would never bring him in. It just wouldn’t happen. That’s not what this front office is about. It’s all about good soldiers and going along with this “process”
  22. You don’t have to worry, these guys would never bother. They would bring in a guy like Tebow before a guy like Baker Mayfield just because he’s not squeaky clean. It’s football, not Tennis. If you don’t have some bad guys, you are going to get your ass handed to you on a regular basis. Maybe if we had a little more nastiness we wouldn’t get blown off the ball on both sides by every physical team. Might actually be able to run again.
