Report: NFL owners pitch 18-game schedule
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to nucci's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just have 2 or even 3 bye weeks. Take 2 preseason games away. The pieces are there to make it work. Also if you are up by a few scores in a game...you can take players out. I really don’t understand how the players won’t even listen to these proposals. You could add 2 by weeks. Give the league an extra 3 weeks of games basically. That’s a lot more money. And the players will end up with even more rest. It definitely can work. Don’t add silly game restrictions for players. That makes it ridiculous. Just give these guys 3 bye weeks. Then they never have to play more then 5 or 6 weeks straight. -
Maybe the colts can pull off a deal for either Eli, Keanum or Fitz?

(POLL TIME!) What WR's Make the roster?
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Boca BIlls's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Does Duke Williams have ps eligibility? He seems to be a strange case career stage wise. I guess if he’s technically a rookie we can probably slide him on the PS right? -
They definitely were calling off the dogs that year to make sure they got Luck. Which at the time was understandable. It’s just funny how they never got anything really out of luck and now he’s gone. Yet they were so quick to move on from manning who ended up playing in 2 more Super Bowls and winning 1.

I think Brisset is pretty good but the timing of this stinks for the colts. They are kind of stuck now. If this happened before the draft they would have been in good shape. Oh well, maybe it’s karma for them tanking to get Luck in the first place.

Bills @ Detroit 1st Half thread

The aggravating part is Barkley will go in and move the offense with no issue. I really hope tonight is just a blip on the radar for josh and not something to be concerned over -
It’s a thing that I’m surprised more teams don’t try. Take a veteran qb with diminishing skills that isn’t necessarily worried about playing time. But still has the itch to help a team. When you put a veteran 3rd qb in the room, he’s basically another coach. He doesn’t even have to be active but he can be a help during game days (when the coaches are busy). It’s a guy that can also get in there durring practice and show you how to do certain things. Things that most QB coaches can’t physically execute. It’s a no lose situation. You aren’t expecting to have to actually play the guy...and if you do, at least he’s probably not going to throw you out of a game with dumb mistakes. We have Barkley now so it’s not as dire, but it would never bother me to have another guy that has been around and can offer another opinion on what they are seeing.

This may be the final preseason game for Josh Allen
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes I realize that. I’m just saying I personally wouldn’t even bother (when it comes to the qb)Especially when a lot of these starting QBs sat the first 2 games. Josh played in them. He’s got plenty of time here. Just keep him healthy -

I wouldn’t even bother playing him much Friday. 1 maybe 2 drives and get out. He’s as ready as he’s going to be. Playing an extra few drives against a vanilla lions defense isn’t going to matter. Just keep him healthy for week 1 of the actual season -
How many Bills games have you been to
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
11 Bills @ jets 1 Bills @ Giants 1 Bills @ TB 8 Bills home games so 21 and then 3 non Bills games -
No matter what anyone wants to think about the jets. That’s going to be a tough game. They are starting to do a lot of things right and it won’t be easy to beat them in their home opener. I live an hour away from MetLife and I hate the jets more then any team in the league. I’ll be there, I really hope I’m wrong and we slaughter them...I just think we might have our hands full.

The Bills had watkins woods hogan and Goodwin all on the same team and were the worst passing offense in football. We have had good WRs. Just haven’t had the qb to show it.

AFC Position Group Breakdown
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills secondary is probably the best in the nfl. No question a 4 and easily the strongest unit on the team. -
Do you expect better preseason games
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Wnybricky's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want to see how Barkley looks. He was excellent against the Jets last year and really gave me hope for the depth of the position going forward. I’d like to see him back it up, even if it’s just preseason. -

Brianmoorman4jesus replied to nucci's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can’t comprehend how an 18 game schedule with 2 buys and only 2 preseason games wouldn’t be enough compromise for both sides. -
I’d say 65,000 seat dome. And just use the crowd noise of the mafia to go 8-0 at home almost every year. The advantage we would have inside with our fans would be worth wins on the field.

Who has a better chance of making the 53?
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it will end up being John Brown Zay Beasley Foster Roberts and maybe they can sneak a guy onto the PS. I really like McKenzie and I hope they keep an extra guy and that it’s him. Ray Ray could have been cut last year and it wouldn’t have bothered me. He stinks -
Fans always want praise and credit before anything is actually accomplished. Once the Bills start winning, they will get the recognition. It doesn’t have to be built up like crazy before anything of substance occurs. Every team has potential. The only thing that matters is wether or not you do something with it. The Bills seem to have a very nice nucleus of young talent. That is not unlike many other seasons in the past. It’s natural to feel optimistic in the offseason. The sky is the limit for nearly every team. Go out and learn how to win and put a season together. All this talent does is use up the excuse cards. I do feel good about the direction of the team and I feel like quality personnel moves have been on the incline. The draft especially has been a strong suit. It’s now time to translate that into wins on the field. The roster turnover in the NFL is incredible. You won’t have the same team for very long. Take advantage.

Shady is hands down my favorite Bill and he’s the main reason the drought is over. He’s the 1 guy on this roster that I can live with regardless of performance. He has earned that IMO. Last year was bad. My head knows what I saw but my heart is telling me to wait and see. Shady has earned the benefit of the doubt. If Shady has a repeat performance of last year, we just have to increase the rotation of other backs. Nobody is going to trade for an older RB with a big salary. Shady should stay here until he’s ready to retire.
