WR Cole Beasley (Dallas) to the Bills
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No reason to get rid of Zay. You barely pay him McKenzie or Foster. Keep them all. Keep everyone that can help. Especially when 3/5 of the WRs are dirt cheap. -

Bills one of 6 teams in on Leveon Bell
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Il tell you what. I know it contradicts a little bit about what I said yesterday about paying for a RB...but I would love Bell. That’s a guy that will change things about this team. Bell is a difference maker. He’s a top 10 player in the NFL and On top of fixing the run game, he will catch 70 passes. He fixes a ton of issues. I would absolutely be all in for Bell. I hope it happens but I’m skeptical on how realistic it is. -
Not a bad start to free agency
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m not arguing that. It doesn’t mean that I want to sign one on day 1 or FA. Especially a guy with legitimate health concerns. I don’t hate the signing I just don’t see the reason for it. Especially today. But the Morse certainly turned the mood around IMO. That one I get. -

I like Morse a lot. To me the Gore and Johnson signings weren’t necessary. The TE I know very little about. Certainly not enough to be upset about it. The C I like a ton. Saved the day. The RB and CB I personally wouldn’t have bothered and I don’t think they will help. The TE is an “wait and see” All and All, not bad. -
RB Frank Gore (Dolphins) to the Bills

The move makes absolutely zero sense to me but if the plan is that Ivory is gone...I’ll hate it less. -
RB Frank Gore (Dolphins) to the Bills
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How many running backs are we going to carry? Are we getting rid of Ivory? Then fine. This might make a little bit of sense. This is a very pointless and dumb signing. Nobody being objective is going to think it was smart. I get there are people that are just going to eat up whatever the Bills serve up but come on. This was dumb. Plain and simple. -
RB Frank Gore (Dolphins) to the Bills
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This team has done some of the dumbest things imaginable over the past 15 years. Nothing ever surprises me with these guys. Almost no matter what gore does, this will be completely pointless. You could have drafted a 21 year old in the 5th round and instead you just paid 2 million to a 36 year old running back... -
CB Kevin Johnson (Texans) to the Bills

3 excellent young corners...sign a CB -
NYG still looking to trade OBJ
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he was interested in coming and actually wanted to participate...I know people are going to hate it but I would give them #9 for OBJ. It won’t happen and the Bills wouldn’t be that aggressive with a top half 1. I’m just saying if (it was me) and if thats what I thought it would take to get it done. I’d be in. Again. Totally hypothetical and I believe there is a less then 1% chance we end up with obj. -
Report - Bills interested in Frank Gore, RB
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If his performance is so amazing why would he even be available? He doesn’t have character issues and doesn’t want more or even make a lot of money. Seems like he would be the type of guy a team would hang onto? -

We absolutely do no need another RB that’s over 30. Certainly not one that’s way over it. -

Beyond puzzling. The guy was done 5 years ago. Be better off checking on Freddy’s interest -
Cuts around the League
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would be very interested in Hyde. I think he got lost in the shuffle last year in Jacksonville but he is a very good RB. Maybe you can put Hyde in with Shady and Ivory and wait 1 more year to draft a RB. 1 less hole to fill with a pick. -
The defense was top 3 in the league last year and the biggest issue is the passiveness of the DC. If they want to change that and let Mcd be the DC, I’m all for it. Stop wasting all these top line assets on the only unit on the team that’s good. We have probably the 2nd or 3rd best secondary in football. Excellent young Safety’s. 3 corners that have pro bowl potential and the oldest of them is in year 3. Two amazingly athletic LBs. An veteran utility player that can do almost anything you ask of him including rush the passer. The most underrated Bill of the last decade and a top 10 pass rusher in Jerry Hughes. Star, Harry and Phillips inside....And we just paid Murphy. We do not need any more defense. We need almost everything else. Move on and fix the rest of the team. Score some points. No Barr, No Clark, do not waste a pick in the first 4 rounds on Defense. Fix the offense and the special teams.

People are happy now that we almost had the best WR in football but didn’t pull it off. If that trade actually happened, it might have been the single best thing the Bills have done in the post super bowl era. He’s a headache...He’s also a first ballot hall of famer and the best WR in football. The guy is also still in his prime unlike the basically done T.O. You win games with good players. At some point the silliness around off the field attitudes have to not matter as much. You have to actually be good and good players make you good usually. What a shame.

Case Keenum traded to Redskins

What a person to replace Alex Smith with. Basically the same exact guy, only with less winning. -
Nick Boyle may have set the FA TE market
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have said the same thing from day 1. Use the money in FA to fix the online. College football doesn’t develop Olineman now and there are no skill position players in FA that I want. But the linen and draft the skill. I am not saying draft every pos of need. In the first 3 rounds I want us to draft a TE a WR and RB. We should be able to get top players at each of those positions.
