Looking Back I wish we traded for Mack
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to BillsFan1988's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Raiders are going to end up in great shape. Instead of winning 1 or 2 more games (maybe) now they are loaded with firsts. -
Capaccio's top ten FA WRs

I really think Tavon Austin is a guy that can be used in a lot of ways and can really help us out. That’s a guy I would be very interested in and he should be overly expensive. -
I don’t agree. The most important sports market in the us in the north east and they have no teams there. They exist to make money. You are going to want to put teams in a place where you have the highest chance of attendance and interest.

Not having Ny, Boston or Philly is suicide

The Top 50 NFL Free Agents Of 2019
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to TSNBDSC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is where I think the disconnect is with the thought towards RB now. It’s not hard to find one. But if you don’t have a good one, you are going to be in trouble. There are a lot of places and ways to get a good one but if you don’t have a good one...it’s going to be magnified. You don’t want to pay a guy a ton because you usually can draft one on the cheap. But if you are a team that doesn’t have one, it’s going to be an issue. I don’t think RBs are less important (now) then they were. I just think people realize there are a ton of good ones. Barkley was the best player in the draft but the value of the #2 pick, doesn’t match up with the value of being the 5th best RB in the nfl. It’s not hard to get a very good RB but at the same time, you better have one. -
The Top 50 NFL Free Agents Of 2019

The Steelers didn’t even make the playoffs which is inexcusable with that roster. Sometimes things are similar stat wise but don’t tell the entire story. Like what a defense is focusing on and allowing you to have. The respect for Bell far outweighed the respect for Connor and the numbers probably reflected that a little. Bell is incredible. Let Connor do it for 4 or 5 more seasons. -
The Top 50 NFL Free Agents Of 2019

No me either. No chance it’s with the Bills but IMO, he needs to be #1 on this list. He might be the most important non qb in the nfl -
Alright. I guess I just see Ron Brooks and Tarpley and think about guys who actually played for the Bills. Not just had a cup of coffee and 90% of Bills fans wouldn’t even remember the were here.
-
They keep saying Birmingham has these old bill rights. My count was the have 1 former Bill. The SD team last night had at least 2 and I didn’t even go through their roster. The SD team had 2 guys that actually played and mattered a little for the Bills. Birmingham has a punter that was terrible and was cut 2 or 3 times.

The Top 50 NFL Free Agents Of 2019

I get it that people are going super overboard with the RB doesn’t matter thing, but Bell is the #1 FA. The guy is the best RB in the nfl and he will catch 70+ passes. You can find a decent RB anywhere. That’s why nobody wants to pay them...But Bell is different and he would do so much more to help a team win then anyone else on this list. I get it. People jump on these narratives and have to act like the smartest guy in the room but come on. Bell is worth probably 3 wins in a season. These “edge” players get you nowhere near that. We have all this money to spend in FA and there are almost no FAs that I really even want. I think it’s time to start looking seriously into a big time trade for a legitimate #1 WR (AJ green) or just use all the money on Olineman. It’s about the least exciting FA class imaginable and figures it’s the one we will probably be super active in. -
They probably want to put people in the seats though and that would certainly help. Especially Tebow for that orlando team. They would draw more then the Florida nfl teams
-
I’m surprised Tebow, kapernick or manzel didn’t get on one of these teams
-
What happens if a guy was an ex player of more then 1 team? London should have tried to get a team in this league and experiment with the logistics before it happens in the nfl. Also some of these cities that lost NFL teams should try and get back in. St Louis, eventually Oakland.
-
I completely disagree. I think kickoffs are a huge part of football and they need to stay in the nfl
-
The only way another football league works, is if it’s an nfl minor league. That means, don’t have silly rules. If nfl fans had developmental talent to watch, of which their favorite team had control of...it would have a shot. Teams bring 90 guys to camp. It absolutely can happen. It won’t work though when guys are playing in a league that’s barely football. No kickoffs, can’t blitz, no extra points. If it’s football people might watch. If you start just taking things away, you are making the pro bowl with guys nobody cares about.
-
Only 4 games a weekend and on the opening night these guys are putting both games on at the same time...Seems smart.
-
There has never been an idea more arcade like then no kickoffs and a 4th down for an onside kick. It’s football for Christ sakes. Kick the ball. Every time the nfl tries to act like they want to do away with kickoffs it makes me cringe. I hate that onside kick rule. At some point let’s play Football. Stop trying to make it something else.

Prospects mocked to Buffalo in R1
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Johnson and Edmunds absolutely both should also be in the first. The Bills had an incredible draft class. Probably 2 or the 5 best rookie corners. A qb a lb and the highest rated rookie WR -
Buffalo Bills' Top 10 Plays
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to TSNBDSC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was so pissed about the Allen pick almost all last offseason. Looking back, I’m genuinely happy that I think I was wrong and am excited about what can be. He really surprised me and he is absolutely the face of this team. I’m happy that the Bills picked him and I think I was definitely wrong about him. -
The Phantom Hold and why the NFL is dying

The rams not scoring a TD for 60 mins was a turning point -
I love to see Defense played. I’d rather watch a 13-3 game then the zero defense from last years super bowl. To me there was nothing boring about it. Until the very end, almost any play could have decided that game. I’m so happy that in a season where all everyone spoke about was offense...the Super Bowl only had 1 touchdown. I wish teams were allowed to play defense every game. Make football, football again.

You think those guys were great? Look at their numbers. Watch a guy like Kelsey, Ertz, Olsen, Gronk or Kittle. Or over the years Gates, Tony Gonzalez, Whitten, jimmy graham for a while etc. Those are just the top of the line guys. We never even had guys in the same league as an Ebron or Delaney Walker. Those guys the Bills had were barely better then Clay. There have been players Bills fans liked but no TE that was even close to excellent. We need a top line TE to grow with Allen and you are probably going to have to draft that guy early.
