What Allen does today (against this defense) Will go a long way in showing wether or not we have “the guy” at QB. -

Kind of anxious over the inactives for the first time all season -
Devin Singletary unlikely to play per Rapaport
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We are in big trouble without Singletary. Hopefully this report is wrong because if not, we will probably be completely shut down on offense. It will be way to easy for Belichick to take away the pass now. He will make Gore and Yeldon beat them and that won’t happen. -
Say Singletary plays and Edelman doesn't...
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because I don’t know other teams players? No I have Sunday ticket and watch every game humanly possible. I am an nfl junkie and watch every play of every bills game pre and regular season, all the games on the mix channel during bills commercials, all the games on the mix channel on the offsetting time of the bills game. I watch every snap of every Thursday night, every Sunday night and every Monday night game...I know the players. It would be very hard to watch more NFL football then I do. The reason I say people don’t know Singletary is because the Bills get very little national attention. Also Frank Gore has significantly more touches and is the name people would certainly associate with when looking at our running backs. Also Singletary was behind Shady and Gore all offseason and had very little media attention. He has only played in 2 games and has almost no touches in either one. I’m not being literal when I say NOBODY knows him...but I’d certainly say he is considered under the radar Nationally. If you ask a non bills fan to name the players on the Bills offense, I’d say you’d hear a pretty long list before they got to Singletary. And IMO, he’s our best player on offense. -

Singletary is probably one of the best kept secrets in the league right now. He is probably already our best player on offense and almost nobody outside of bills fans, even know who he is. -
Bills Mafia article from The Ringer
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel like the “bills mafia” is now just the nickname for the Bills diehards. I think at first it was more about the people doing the things that end up on barstool. But those people only represent a very small portion of the fan base. I want to watch and comprehend the game. I’m not saying I don’t drink on Sundays, but I want to be cognizant of what is happening. To each their own and power to those who want a game day experience of table breaking and excessive alcohol. I’m not embarrassed about it, it’s just not me. I like the name “Bills Mafia” and I think there is a sense of pride behind it. I think it’s more about being a hyper passionate fan base and a team that is part of the community of fans. -
I have said this before and I mean it. There is not a person in the world that knows less about sports then Howard or Jeremy. Not people in sports media...just humans in general. Schopp is bad. But you can tell he’s just saying things to annoy people. He is just a troll that thinks he’s smart and funny. These two guys on the morning show are the absolute worst. And I don’t even live anywhere near Buffalo so I have to use the app to hear them. I hear lots of other shows around the country, nobody else is like these guys. They have Howard Simon pick the Bills. This guy is the last person around that would have a valued opinion on anything football related. Who would possibly care what he thinks their record could be? The guy probably couldn’t name another player on any of the teams we play. Sal must just cringe every time he has to talk to either of them because they will just be factually incorrect constantly. Or have the most ridiculously off base opinions. I’m sure Sal doesn’t want to be rude and just constantly correct these idiots.

Singletary Update??
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to thronethinker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think our only shot at beating NE is with Singletary on the field. The guy might already be our best player on offense and his shiftiness and play making abilities are legitimately noticeable. His ability stands out amongst the rest of our skill position players and without him our running game is very basic. I understand the fear in rushing a guy back but I am so tired of New England’s dominance over us and I really want the Bills to finally push back. We need this guy Sunday. If he can go, give it a shot. Go Bills! -
We’re on to New England ...

Got to find a way to get Singletary back for this one. We need all hands on deck -
Bills vs Bengals Pre-Game thread

He was okay. I’d venture to say had we had Singletary, the bengals never get close. Gore had a few nice runs. I will give him credit when it’s due. The TD was huge. Very tough and important run. I was content with him today but certainly not blown away impressed. He didn’t even have 80 yards. If that’s a big deal then I’m not sure what the standard is. I don’t want this to get sideways here. Today was fine. He was more then acceptable today. I am not trying to discredit him today. It was by far the best he’s been for the Bills and his effort absolutely helped the victory. Il gladly be wrong about him every week and I hope he somehow just plays amazing. He’s on the team I love. I’m doing nothing but rooting for him. -

This is so aggravating. Is it the same as every other year or can we actually be good for once? -

Singletary is so far and away our best back. I really wish we kept Shady, Singletary, Gore and Yeldon -

Lol I know Singletary is out. That was the basis of my concern with the RB situation today. But it will be ok. Just need to give Yeldon a little more then half the touches IMO -

Definitely I fully expect today to go well. I wouldn’t trade our defense for any other in the league. Allen is taking big steps. Brown and Beasley might be the best complement of Bills WRs in a very long time. Online looks excellent and Singletary has been incredible. I just have to keep that little bit of that, beaten down Bills fan nervousness in me to keep up appearances. Go Bills! -

He had 19 carries for 68 yards. How is that very good? Singletary has 57 on 6. I was at the game. Holes are there, he’s just not fast enough to hit them. And I’m not even mad at Gore. He’s old. He is way better then he should still be. I’m good with Gore being on the team. But HE should be the guy getting 5 carries. While the other back gets 15-20. Not the other way around. -

Very excited about the game but worried about the RB situation. I think Yeldon is much better then people realize and if it was up to me, I’d start him. He can really catch it out of the backfield and is a much better runner then people seem to think. What I’m worried about is more Gore. This guy has 88 yards on 30 carries this year. That’s not a typo. The guy is done. Singletary has 127 on 10 carries...that’s also not a typo. We are blocking people. The holes are there. Gore’s legs are just shot. Strangely this coaching staff is missing that though. Today we can’t sprinkle in the explosive Singletary. All that’s going to mean is more Gore. The only thing about that season that has been a negative so far IMO. Either way, hopefully the Bills find a way to use that home opener energy to keep this train rolling. Get that win. Go Bills! -
Fairburn: Singletary officially out this week

Sure. Either one. Get a body in here. If it was me I would have brought Murphy back. -

I like Yeldon but I think it’s a little silly to go into this game with only 2 RBs. -
This is a must win game for the Bills.

Absolutely huge game. Got to get the games that you “should” win. The following 2 games (after Cincinnati) are going to be very tough. Got to stack them now. -
