  1. A win today would be a top 3 regular season win for McDermott. Not impossible but man it’s going to take all we have. We need that looseness from Josh or we got no shot. Can not come out here tight or afraid to make mistakes. We need the covid year Seahawk/Ram Josh. Just letting it fly but not afraid of danger. Also we need his legs. There’s No tomorrow if we lose this game. The room for error got wasted on not being able to count against Denver. Play a lot of 3 LB sets on defense, do not let these guys get you on your heels with the run. You have to make Hurts beat you to the outside with the pass. We can get this one but we need all we got. Absolutely can’t afford to be firing at 75%. Might need a no punt day.

  2. During the Bucs game, for the first time ever I felt like I was done with McDermott. I have always appreciated what he’s done to take us from a joke to a contender. That was the first game where I just couldn’t unsee the stupidity and all the good just slowly stopped mattering. Maybe he’s a guy that is good enough to fix it but not good enough to take us where we need to be. After the inexcusable bronco loss I was actually hoping the guy was fired and just knew the season was over.

Knowing where we are and what we have coming, if we somehow get into the playoffs…it would be the best coaching job McDermott has done so far. I think knowing how I felt after the bronco game and knowing what it would take to get in I’d be very happy with McDermott again and be willing to forgive the early season issues. Find a way to get in and I’m going to have a short memory on the rare slow start. If we don’t make the playoffs I won’t be surprised but I will be ready to move on. This team is too good and this league is too average right now to be sitting home.

  3. With Bernard Milano(healthy) and Williams, we are one of the teams in the NFL that shouldn’t have to take LBs off the field to cover. Those guys can all really run. If there’s 1 team in the league that is suited to play the LEAST nickel it’s us. Yet we were running it like every single play. That’s why teams were running all over us. Leave 3 linebackers out there and stop the run. These guys are fast enough to cover and the pros outweigh the cons here. 4-3 almost always please.

Wouldn’t doubt it. This is why I feel like running the hurry up early or at random points of the game is worth it. Get to 30 points or so by any means necessary even if the defense is out there a little more than you’d like. Trust them to get some stops and then slow it down late in the game.

It’s disgusting to think how different this season would feel right now if we’d had just one more score in almost all of our losses.

Well at the same time we also scored to take the lead late against the Pats and Broncos…both teams should had been stopped. Not exactly juggernauts

I’d bump him down to 89 purely due to the stupid number he currently wears.

It is weird. I’m cool with not wanting to use a number in the 50s those are the worst. 25 just looks so bizarre. I’d rather see a single digit or a number in the 90s on a LB than 25. So strange. I like the ones in the 40s but if you wanna be different, get out of the 20s.

Depends which other teams are offering what.  I don’t think he’d choose to join a 6-5 team unless they were offering a decent amount more than teams looking like they’re shoo ins for the playoffs.  Never know though, you could be right.

I mean I’m not sure if the complete details with picking up the remainder of his 23 contract but he’s on waivers. He’s not a FA. You have to put a claim in for him. I don’t think it’s about him choosing a place.

  7. We seemed to play more 3 LB sets against the Jets. That was a beautiful sight to see. Our LBs are fast enough to cover and this helped against the run so much. Theres no need to constantly be in nickel. I hope this is the plan against the Eagles. I’ll take my chances with our guys on the outside but I do not want Philly to run it down our throats. If they can get us on skates with the run, we are dead. I’m cool with making hurts beat us through the air. I’ll take my chances.

This may sound wierd (conspiracy) but at 9-1 I think the refs will be less likely to give Philly favorable calls. With all the qbs going down,  the NFL wants as many big name (market) qbs going into the playoffs.  It wouldn't surprise me if we get a couple calls we don't normally get.  The Eagles can easily absorb an L.  We cant....who wouldn't want Mahomes,  Allen, Lamar & Lawrence as your AFC Final 4?  Just a gut feeling??

I would be very surprised. I think we will get completely screwed the next 2 games with calls. Better be almost perfect because we are going to get no favors in either of these dumps

  8. I have been killing this dude non stop. I have wanted to see almost anyone but him. Seen more than enough and was just completely over it……

He played really good against the Jets. It’s not fair of me to kill him all the time and then be quiet when it’s the opposite. He played very well against the Jet and proved he might be worth the opportunity. Glad to be wrong about him if it turns out to be the case.

was surprised to see they played a bit more traditional 4-3 today, and Dodson really made some stops in both the run and pass game today.

3 LBers on the field was a beautiful thing to see. If there’s one team that doesn’t have to constantly play with 2 LBs, it’s us. Both 43/42 can really run. Put 3 LBs out there and take our chances with those LBs in coverage. That’s what I’d do against Philly. Don’t let them run all over us.

  10. This win gives us a few days to be happy and hope through thanksgiving. If the Jets could somehow beat Miami that’d be amazing but we are going to need a perfect game to beat the Eagles. Cab it happen? Sure but we are going to need all of it. I’m sure the refs aren’t going to do us any favors down there.

    Huh?

Why on Earth would you want the Chiefs to have any success?

The Jets beat the Eagles. That’s good enough.

The chiefs are gone, I just want the Bills to make the playoffs. Not saying I want the chiefs to win just saying hopefully they show something to copy to have success against the eagles defense. They are a similar team offensively to us. Obviously rather the Eagles win but they are going to make the playoffs. The 1 seed is absolutely out. I just wanna get in. Beat the Eagles somehow

Great rhythm on offense even on the punts. Defense was active. Great game.

The eagles will actually protect their qb and they have some scary wrs. But they'll be on a short week against a bills team that may have found some confidence

Hopefully the Chiefs will show us the way to get to the Eagles tomorrow night.
