  1. I mean, I would say without question if the Bills wanted one of them they could have gotten to 2. I realize the giants act like they didn’t want to move but there is a point where you just don’t say no. The minute the jets got to 3, we should have gone to 2. We had the picks. I said it from the day it happened and never came off it. If you wanted Darnold, you give the giants a blank check and get to 2. My guess is they wanted Allen all along and probably even leaked the tweets so he would fall. No way to know for sure.
  2. Balls are being thrown wildly all game long. That is not disputable. Allen has made some good throws. Some good passes have been dropped. Way more easy throws have been missed though. It just has to get better. It’s year 1. It’s okay. No need to get defensive. 2 rookie QBs seen to be superior passers right now but it’s not a career sentence.
  3. I’m not going to just keep hearing this is all on the WRs. The WRs made plays when Barkley played and the WRs get open. There have been some drops but every qb deals with that. The issue is there is never a pass thrown with touch on it and the balls are late or sprayed wildly around. Allen has been okay but he doesnt look to be anywhere near the passers that Mayfield or Darnold are. The Jets and Browns are not loaded at WR or immune to drops. The balls need to be thrown better. No need for excuses.
  4. Allen needs to start making the accurate intermediate timing throws that Mayfield and Darnold routinely make. The 40 yard laser is fun to watch but you can’t be completing 50% of your passes in a league where all of the rules help the offense. The passes with touch on them are just not there right now. What Darnold and mayfield look like now is what Allen needs to get to. Before this season ends, a screen pass or a 4 yd crossing route can’t look difficult.
  5. Oh I didn’t realize. I’m like an hour and 10 north of met life. In the 845
  6. If I’m the Bills it’s Murphy and Ford from here out. McCoy and Ivory serve no purpose for the remainder of this season. Let’s see the young guys.
  7. It’s on NBC too. I love Saturday nfl. I wish there was a Saturday game every week. I’m an nfl Junkie. I don’t care who the teams are, I’ll watch it. I wish a game was on every day like all the other sports
  8. The patriots have turned guys into superstars like Welker and Edelman. And while they don’t have a long list of big time outside WRs, they still always try to have big time WRs. A lot of guys have gone there and not worked out but they still bring them in. Chad johnson, Cooks, Amendola, Gordon etc They make an effort to have big time WRs it just doesn’t always fit
  9. I think he will be on the team but not be one of the top WRs to see playing time. If he shows up a little more in the passing game here the last 3 games, maybe. I think we bring in at least 1 stud outside WR. Then we have Zay (who they gave up some important assets for) and Foster. That doesnt leave a lot of room.
  10. Half of me thinks Mccoy gets the first month of next year to prove this year was the Olines fault. And half of me thinks the Bills wish they pulled off a trade at the deadline and they go young at RB
  11. I have a strange feeling that if Ford gets a look, he might be a player. Absolutely no concrete reason, pure gut. He looked pretty solid in preseason and he will have fresh legs. If the Bills kept him on the PS all year he must have shown them something. I would love to see him start and play the majority of the game tomorrow. Get 20+ carries and see what he looks like. He is giving me a Travis Henry vibe but again, it’s purely gut here. No real reasoning behind it. Probably just hope
  12. I would figure the Bills go after a cornerstone LT early in the draft and kick Dawkins to RT. I don’t think Mills is that bad I just think these guys in charge want 53 players that they brought here. It’s felt to me from day 1 that: Beane and Mcd would rather lose with their own guys then win with someone else’s. Which is very upsetting. The Whaley guys were probably the biggest reason we made it last year but they have been systematically squeezed out.
  13. Maybe it’s after week 16 then. Either way still embarrassing 1 season in the last 18 where the last game could matter
  14. I think the player with the most to gain or lose over this last 3 game stretch is Foster. One good game is a fluke. Two can be just benefiting from circumstances. He has now had 3 really good games in the last 5 weeks. If Foster can go out and put up a couple more 100yd games in these last 3 weeks, he’s going to start. I’m not sure if he is actually good or not yet, but I am really interested in where this goes. If Foster goes away and does nothing over these last 3 weeks, we will probably see him on the backend of the roster next season. If he is having 5+ catches for 90+ yards in these last few games, then I think Foster becomes our go to WR heading into the offseason.
  15. I can go either way on Shady because he is still my favorite player. I hope this year was something dumb and he comes back and is good again. I just think the Bills are going to have a short hook here with the off field stuff, the 30 year old wall and the trade deadline rumors. Maybe Shady gets to evolve into a late 90s Thurman role and can still be “starting” He certainly has value in other areas I’m just not sure the Bills will be interested.
  16. Nowhere near as unusual as being eliminated before week 16 like 17 of the last 18 seasons. Other then last season and 2004 I am pretty sure the Bills have been eliminated (with 2 games left) every single year since 2000. That is a punishable offense
  17. This season has been a mixed bag of emotions. A few ups, a bunch of downs and alot of learning. Young players learning the pro game and fans learning about what the future might look like. If this season was a true rebuild, it would certainly be nice to feel like we found a few pieces moving forward. Out of learning and development comes a lot of losing. It also shines light on potential and gives you a feel for who has what we need. Out of the current Bills on the roster, which ones will be starting for us week 1 in 2019? (You can count the 3rd WR as “starting” considering most packages contain the slot WR nowadays) I will say Allen: Not much of a chance this changes Demarco: He’s out there doing some stuff. Probably will use him again next year. Zay Jones: Potentially moves to the slot with the additions of outside presence at WR Foster: What he has done over the last 5 games can’t be ignored. Especially with the current QB situation. I feel like Foster will be a #2 WR on the outside going into next season. Dawkins: Possibly move to RT if we draft a Tackle early Teller: These guys love their own draft picks and he played decent when inserted Bodine: I feel like the Bills will bring in a young Guard and a Tackle. And they won’t want to overhaul 3/5 of the existing Oline. Also Bodine was acceptable and is the guy that this regime brought in. From day 1, there has been an overly obvious mission to purge every player from the previous regime. I think they keep the 3 guys they brought in and move on from the rest. After that I think every starter might be different. I think there is a chance the starting RB is on the roster but I’m not sure how good that chance is. Shady might get the benefit of the doubt for the first few weeks next year but I think the Bills might just end it. I also think there is a very small chance that Ford could turn into our starting RB but we have to see him get a shot in these last 3 weeks.
  18. I always think I love our current jerseys but then when I see the red helmets, I really miss them...This 1 helmet rule is dumb. If it’s about safety, wouldn’t constantly changing them out for new, different helmets be safer anyway?
  19. The refs couldn’t be worse if they tried. The single biggest problem the NFL, isn’t head injuries or protesting...it’s the officiating. Absolutely needs to be addressed and it needs to be rebuilt. Full time professional refs. Young 20-40 year old refs, not old men running around trying to judge lightning fast plays in real time. And just flat out less calls. Just less rules and less calls. Roger needs to sit these ***** down and tell these guys, be forgotten. 3-5 penalties a game. Not 20. Obviously Offside and delay of game will have to be called. But judgement calls have got to be egregious or don’t throw it. Holding and PI are going to happen on almost every play. Unless a player is tackled, let them go. Let the players decide the game. Not the officials.
  20. I’m going to say there is a pretty good chance that the single best thing to come out of 2018 will be Robert Foster. If somehow Foster goes for 90+ yards in 2 of the last 3 games, we are going to have to start taking him seriously. I would say it’s been a very long time since a Bills WR has had 3/5 games go for over 90 yards and Foster has a chance to go 6 out of 8. I’m not all the way sold but this season has been very disappointing IMO. I realize most people were willing to sign for a terrible record but I wasn’t one of them. If Foster finishes up strong, we might come out of this year with a legitimate WR. That would be at least a positive in a season full of question marks and losses.
  21. If you have been watching this year it would be hard to think that’s Mccoy. And he is my favorite player on the team. I’m just being honest. He looks completely finished. It’s senseless to even bother playing him if he’s less then 100% healthy
  22. I just don’t agree with you. I think playing McCoy is pointless and I’m not going to come off it. The reality is they should have traded him at the deadline and they didn’t. I didn’t want him traded but I was wrong. Now they have 3 meaningless games to see if they have a RB for 2019 on the roster. It really is that simple. The running game is the single most disappointing thing about 2018 and it’s time to look towards the future. Start now before the draft. Maybe we won’t need to waste a pick. If this is a rebuild and everyone was just signing up for pissing away an entire season, then let’s go. Nobody wanted to hear it when a few of us wanted to play Barkley and string together wins. It’s all about the future and the young guys...let’s see Ford and Murphy.
  23. I’m not concerned. My guess is the coaches are smart enough to consider that. We also still have Demarco if it got real sideways. Allen plays like a maniac anyway. If you are worried about him getting hurt, get over it. It’s going to happen. He runs to much and takes on hits on purpose. I’d start Ford and give him the majority of the load with Murphy sprinkled in.
  24. No clue. No idea how ford blocks. For all you or I know he could be a better blocker then Shady. There is no reason. Not a single reason in existence to shelf Shady. Ivory can be dressed but as a 3 or in an emergency. It’s badically live speed preseason. Let’s see the young guys
