We will start to really firm up on defense after they get a 2 or 3 touchdown lead. Then our coach will be proud of them. Once you get way behind, start making stops. That’s a winning formula

This defense is so overrated. The numbers look great because in 3 or 4 games this year, they were over at halftime. Teams just called off the dogs. McDermott really has to be a big concern going forward

This team is poorly coached. The STs are inexcusable, the Oline sucks, the DC is way to passive, game day decisions are atrocious, challenges are always lost and the management of the personnel is often puzzling. All of that goes back to Mcd. That won’t get better during a rebuild

Darr is good but this STs is a ***** disgrace

Yeah I can’t imagine a sensible reason that would excuse playing Shady again this season. He’s not 100% and they year is over. IR him and let the kids play

It would not surprise me 1 bit if the running game was the best it’s been with the 2 younger guys in. I think it’s convenient to blame everything on the Oline but I have a suspicion it’s not the case

Great opportunity today for one of these 2 RBs to step up and take the job.

This offense needs another guy like him right now. What Shady has been has been amazing but his best days are clearly behind him. It’s time to find that dual threat back of the future.

I mean #1 literally means the first option. And certain passing concepts and schemes value different skill sets. The Patriots flat out spread you thin and then attack the middle of the field. That’s what they do now. If they had a big time WR on the outside and Edelman in the slot, they still are going to go to the underneath guy most of the time. It’s a rhythm on time passing game. They should just classify WR as “inside guys” and “outside guys” They are quite different.

Yeah. Of course. I don’t know why people act like a slot WR can’t be the #1 option. Reed was. Some offenses are just built that way.

I would say it’s the best WR you have. The WR that the other teams defense will try and focus on. The WR that will most likely lead your team in targets and most of the important stats. The go to guy. A WR that you are game planning to get involved. If you need a play through the air, the guy you are looking for. Progression 1 on most non-gimmick passing plays.

If there is 1 thing the Bills have always been able to find, it’s a good RB. I’m not worried. One way or another we will have a good to great RB soon enough. We always do

That RB job is there for whoever wants to step up and take it.

I kind of want to try and get a nickname going of “Big play Bob” for him but you never know how those things take off
