The “adds” to this team will be the two rotational linemen that will make no difference because the QBs get the ball out to quick and Gave Davis. We have no money. Hoecht and Ogunjobi were supposed to come in and somehow shed their career mediocrity to save a poor run fit defense. Now we can all agree, this is a .500 team who might luck up in some tight games and slip into a wild card slot. I got banned for a week for saying is last week. The defense has been terrible for 7 full years and are why we haven’t won a Super Bowl yet. Idk how people still don’t see it. Stevie Wonder can see it. The entire defensive philosophy needs to be scrapped, I don’t care if we hire Wade Phillips tomorrow and have to live through an entire instal in 2 weeks. Even if we take a step back for a few… it can’t be this. You have to remove McDermott entirely

Why does it look like our LBs are always so far behind the line? There seems to be so much space in the box. Pre snap you can see there are going to be holes. There’s nothing about this defense that makes an ounce of sense.
It’s impossible to build on anything when you feel like the other team can’t be stopped. Even from a time of possession standpoint. It makes you feel like you can’t ever get behind. If you don’t think that effects our own offense you are nuts. The offense has so much pressure on them. Also why are we kicking off to start every game? We operate as if we make stops. We should be petrified of our own defense. Instead we play field position like we might be able to use it. We punt and 4 plays later they are already back to where we punted from. Does this guy watch the games ever? It’s like a rerun. Somehow we play the same game on defense every week for 7 straight years. It’s amazing how it’s always the same. I can almost tell you how a drive is going to go before it starts when the other team has the ball. You can feel it. It’s sickening

What happened to the aggression? Why did we punt so many times with less then 4 yard to go? You were down and unable to stop them. I couldn’t believe that we punted on so many 4th and shorts

Calvin Ridley. The real answer is wholesale changes to the defensive philosophy and coaching staff but we won’t do that. It’ll cost us another season in Josh’s Prime. Keep writing them off, one day it will be to late

That 1 seed talk was fun while it lasted. The wheels can completely come off this thing we might have our hands full getting into the playoffs. If this went sideways and we somehow missed the playoffs, it’d be the most inexcusable disgrace imaginable

We are the dumbest team in the nfl. We lost the game on that play then punted. We will never stop them how can you run that play then punt. We deserve to lose and now we will. Run a QB sneak FFS! And then how can you punt. We wil never get it back

The offense can never have an off game. They are expected to score a TD on every drive. Thats not sustainable. It’s absolutely sickening how we year after year never stop anyone. You shouldn’t need to score 30 every single game. Just play ***** defense. Almost every other team does all the time

You’re asking the wrong guy lol I’m super respectful to people and feel like I’m a very reasonable and informed poster. I watch as much football as humanly possible I try to bring intelligent conversation to the board and I’m on every day. It was actually very surprising and frustrating TBH
