  1. I was thinking the other day that I honestly feel like the hiring of Chan Gailey was the worst head coaching hire I can ever remember. He was absolutely terrible and I don’t know how anyone could feel differently. It was the closest I ever got to canceling my Sunday ticket. Nobody else would have ever considered hiring him for a HC. There was no reason for us to do it. We could have hired a real HC and probably got him to be an OC. He ran the same plays over and over regardless of situation. Every team in the league figured him out and after that 5-2 start, we never did anything again. The book was written and then end of that year and the following season was just a complete embarrassment. We forced the same stuff over and over again and Fitz actually proved to be a very productive QB after Chan. This is all not even considering there was no attempt to even pretend to play defense for 3 straight years. I think he was the single worst HC the Bills have had in the last 30 years and I don’t think it was close.
  2. How about sliding Dion to RT? I think regardless we are 2 lineman out here. I can live with him at either LT or RT but I want almost no lineman in the draft. We have plenty of money in FA and the college game doesn’t develop lineman. Not to mention how terrible the skill position players are in FA. I want the Oline fixed in FA.
  3. 1. We need 2 Olineman. (1T+1G)With 90 mil, totally do-able 2. CB is absolutely not a need and I just said OL can be fixed in FA. Certainly can take a TE round 1
  4. Fix the STs Fix the Oline in FA 1 WR early in the draft 1 very good TE in the first round of the draft get a young RB in that can carry the load and we are there
  5. He might win them 3 or 4 games. They should just say screw it and go Tebow. Let him bring that following and fill that stadium all year long. He’s like Elvis in Florida
  6. I wonder who they will play at QB? You got to figure they are going all in for this tank year but probably want to be careful about being to obvious. They will need a guy that they won’t win with but won’t give away their tank intention. They still have tickets to sell. Blake Bortles maybe?
  7. I remember it fine. They were terrible and so are the actual referees. Again, I never even mentioned the refs. All I said is they won’t miss games and another guy said “I couldn’t take the replacement refs”
  8. I mean, I didn’t even bring up the refs to begin with. But if you can watch the current game and not notice the refs, you are talented.
  9. The current refs could not be worse. I’d rather watch a game with no ref.
  10. This guy is getting a lot of hype here. In my mind I’ll put his chances at making the roster about 15% I hope the guy turns out to be great but I also can see him just blending into the background next fall and just never mattering. Who knows?
  11. Just like last time. No games will be lost. The nfl is the one league that people would still watch if the players were scabs. Fans DO cheer for the laundry and as long as your team is out there, you will watch. The turnover is so vast in the league, the team you love is completely different from year to year anyway. The games will happen.
  12. But neither one of those guys were on the same planet as a guy like Kelce. They were good for the Bills but not good in the scope of the truly excellent TEs
  13. There is something so dynamic about a truly elite TE. The Bills have NEVER had a really good TE...Ever. Watching Kelce is just something we would never know as Bills fans. I hope we take the best TE in college football at 9 and give Josh that extra dimension that we never have.
  14. Mariota will not be a good enough passer to win with consistently. He’s okay, but not good enough IMO. Tyrod Taylor with slightly more ability and way to many expectations. Winston is excellent and will be great with Arians. TB has a lot of issues but the QB isn’t one of them. If they are dumb enough to move on from him, another team will take him in a second and make him a star.
  15. I hope they renovate the current stadium but find a way to add a roof.
  16. Why would that kid bother going through the garbage system of minor league baseball and possibly never even get anywhere? When he could go to the NFL and get drafted high?
  17. The Dolphins are probably going all in on a cap reduction tank for 19. I doubt they sign a qb people care about. Especially one that will cost anything. They will probably start some garbage backup that they already have or sign a low $ FA like Teddy Bridgewater. Washington probably expects Smith to be back and if Gruden stays, he will probably remain in love with Colt Mccoy. Flacco was on his was out as being a capable starter in the league anyway and will be lucky to get another starting job. He’s just not good anymore. The Jaguars would be dumb to not draft a QB. They are already in serious cap trouble, I doubt they are going to tie up money in a guy like Flacco or Eli. Probably will draft a guy and keep Kessler in the mix. The Giants are going to start Eli and work a rookie in. As done as Eli is, they feel like they owe him and just won’t let it end. I dont see these fringe starters getting nuch of a look. There are only so many jobs and very few that are open. Flacco isn’t good anymore. Eli is completely done and probably won’t be available. Bridgewater had a gift wrapped opportunity to impress and did what he does; Not make plays. Tyrod might have played himself out of another shot. Tannehill is young still and hes never really been that bad. He is the one guy I could see getting another legitimate shot. The only issue is where? Maybe if Alex Smith has to retire...maybe they would look at Tannehill. He seems like a player that wasn’t ever really given a fair shake and actually does have the tools to be good. Maybe it will take an injury but I think Tannehill gets another shot. The most interesting guy is Foles. If he wanted it, he probably could get a starting job in several places. I think he has shown enough and proven that he has something extra that can’t be measured. The only issue is that it seems like he doesn’t have any interest in his own team. I think after last season, Foles could have forced the Eagles hand a little and cashed in off that run. It seems to me like he is content where he is. If that’s the case, it’s hard to figure him into the mix here.
  18. Probably being at the jets win. That was just a coast job 31-3 at halftime and just dead quiet in that stadium. Except the Bills fans
