“One-Hit Wonders” for every NFL Team
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Karlos for sure -
I like Barkley and if he’s back as the 2, I’m good. I would however be very excited about having another legitimate qb in camp to complete for that spot. I also think it would make a lot of sense to bring in a qb that can run. That way, if (or when) Allen gets hurt, you don’t have to completely change your offense. I’d like to see a guy that can run the offense as is in the backup role.

How could you be plugged in and hinting towards a guy that the Bills will take, 54 picks into the draft? It’s impossible for even the Bills to know who they are taking there. That guy might go at pick 41. Who knows. The Bills probably like 30-40 different players at that pick. Why even worry about trying to guess who it is now?

Gore was absolutely terrible last year. I don’t care if he got the majority of the touches early on. It was because Singletary was hurt and Daboll is an idiot. There were 8 games last year where he had less then 3 yards per carry. That’s embarrassing. The guy was a complete liability and we won in spite of him. Il give him the New England game. That was the only game where his legs didn’t look like they were shot. Even in games where he was getting 6 and 7 yard runs...if that was anyone else in the league, they would have gotten 20 yards. The holes were there, he just couldn’t get to them fast enough. Shady looked really bad the year before but he was twice what Gore was. It’s over now so I’m not going to waste my time arguing with you about it. The guys legs were completely shot. 30 is old for a RB and this guy was significantly past that. There is never a reason to have an old running back. It’s was to easy to find cheap young ones. Also Yeldon needed to be active last season. He would have been a much better option. To late now. Hopefully last season is a lesson learned for Beane and we stay away from the old running backs.

Gore was the worst player on the team and possibly one of the worst players in the entire league. Literally every single week I posted to activate Yeldon and never let Gore touch the ball. The guy single handedly killed so many drives last year. I’m not sure how a person getting paid to make football decisions, didn’t see what Gore was. The fact that we signed him in the first place made me sick. The only thing worse, was the fact that he somehow got high leverage touches and significant playing time. The guy has been done for at least 5 years. He never should have been signed and to have him active on game days was a borderline crime.

Bills are 3 pieces away from Super Bowl
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this team is good enough right now but it entirely hinges on Josh Allen taking that next step. The pieces around him are more then good enough. We are going to go, as Josh goes. The Defense is the backbone of the team and is excellent. I’m expecting that to continue. The special teams got better and was solid. The offense...I know it sounds minor but Gore killed us last year. I mentioned it literally every week. He was probably the single worst player on the team and quite possibly the single worst player in the league that got significant touches. Him being gone is huge. If we used Yeldon as the 2 last year, we might have advanced. This team is ready. It’s up to the QB to continue to grow and it’s going to be a lot of fun. -
Cam to be released today
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Buffalo Boy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think bringing him in gives you a backup that allows you to play the exact same system and might be a lateral move from starter to backup. Josh also is constantly at high risk of injury. I know it’s a bonus thought here but You can also experiment with both qbs on the field at the same time. I’d love it. -
Breshad Perriman vs Draftng a WR
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to r henderson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We are good at WR. I’m all for adding another pass catcher and playmaker in the passing game though. I think we need another TE. Also a RB that can catch it out of the backfield would be very nice. Help the passing game sure, but not at WR. We are more then good there. -
Offensive Line Status Quo
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I keep thinking, part of me would love to see a 1 year deal for Peters at RT. Make his career a Bills sandwich and maybe give him one last good run in the place where it all started. I know it ended very poorly but I’d say things in Buffalo are considerably different now. The guy is a sure fire, future hall of famer and it would be nice if he came back and ended it on good terms. Plus at RT I think he could still be effective and hopefully give Ford someone to learn from. Just purely by watching. -
What would an “All In” move be to you?
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cam Newton if he gets released to give us a plan B and also a backup that can run the same offense Incase of injury -
For a few reasons, Diggs has always reminded me a bit of Stevie Johnson. Only a Stevie Johnson with consistent route running that will be transferable to QBs beyond just Fitz. I really like this a lot. There are no more excuses this year. Another RB and an edge rusher and this team is actually very good. It’s all just going to come down to wether or not Allen takes that next step.

The more NFL football the better in my eyes. I love this. Does the expanded playoffs start this year? I would expect it to be 2021 at the earliest? -

Bleacher Report predicts Funchess to Bills
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I mean, as a 3rd guy on the other side of Brown I’m good with him. I’m more interested in finding a legitimate TE somewhere and adding him to Brown and Beasley. I’m not really down on our WRs TBH. I’m not impressed with our TEs though... but that goes for literally the entire history of the franchise unfortunately. -
XFL Opening Weekend, Matchups and where to watch.

If this league can get a few names and maybe 6 or so more teams, they may have something. It’s not great but it’s not bad. I’m liking it.
