Question: Is Moss pushing Devin to start?
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im so excited to see both of these guys. I think the Bills are going to have an incredible look on offense. Singletary is obviously one of my favorite players and Moss looks like Ingram 2.0 (to me). Run it, until they show you they can stop it. -
Week 1: Jets at Bills (-6.5)
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m not overlooking anyone. Especially week 1 and especially a division opponent. Have to get off to a good start though because the schedule is brutal. Probably going to need to be at least 5-1 if not 6-0 vs the division this year. -
Notable cuts around the league

Roosevelt Nix is a guy I would be looking into. It sure seems like Gilliam is a guy that the Bills like. But it concerns me a bit that they had his position switched to TE. Maybe they see him more as an Hback or #2/3 TE. If that’s the case, I want the former pro bowl FB to make sure we can run the ball. I’m in the minority or people that still like having a real FB on the roster. I want to see room for the two young RBs. -

It’s more about paying the right guys for a change -

Man that’s big. This front office really is a welcome change from the previous 20 years. -
Gilliam now listed at TE on roster
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I noticed that on the Bills site like a week and a half ago. I was going to make a thread on it but I figured it was semantics. They probably see him as an Hback, jack of all trades, STs guy. I’m not in the group of people that have been calling for Demarco to be cut from day 1. He seems to fit into that Murphy mode, where he’s being “cut every day” on here. I’m not sure why anyone that gets paid and doesn’t flash every second of the day gets that treatment. Demarco is solid. I hope this kid is too. Keep them both. Play him at TE, move him around...the more playmakers the better. Early on they raved about this kid on ST, so I’m sure they will find a spot for him. -
I’m seeing 12+ wins for this team...
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we are pretty good but I think people are really underestimating how difficult the schedule is. Just do anything to win the division. I don’t care how many wins that takes -
Present- Trent Murphy is better then people realize. He is not constantly in danger of being cut. He’s a very effective pass rusher when he’s on the field. If he’s healthy, he can help the team. Past- Doug a Marone wasn’t a bad coach. Just because he took advantage of an opt out, doesn’t erase the fact that he was part of this teams turn around. From 14’ on, the Bills went from a joke, to respectable. He was a part of that initial step. McDermott is better, no question...but people act like Marone was terrible just because they were pissed at him for leaving

Nobody knows what we have at backup qb. There are 3 guys. All with potential. Any of the 3 could turn out to be very good backup quarterbacks. Fromm was drafted for a reason. You don’t draft a qb, when you have a young 1st round QB and an already paid backup...they are going to give him plenty of chances.

Heath Farwell interview 8/16
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Roberts might be the literal best return man in the league. It stinks there are barely any KR now, otherwise he would be a great weapon. If we can ever cut down on the flags on ST, this guy could really change a game. -
Gunner's roster thread.... 2020 style - UPDATED
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel like this team likes V. Joseph. Nothing has happened to make me feel that way, I just feel like he’s going to make the team and get a shot to play. This regime loves the guys they draft. -

People on here definitely undervalue Murphy. He’s a lot better then he gets credit for. Absolutely he needs to stay healthy, but he’s a better player then most people seem to think. -
Is there any real training camp news?

I bet Moss is going to show up big, when the pads come on. -

Everyone always dogs the preseason but I really miss it. I want the most football possible. This sucks -
Your 2020 Pats roster...
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t see it. If the NFL plays it’s regular 16 game schedule, this thing is the same for everyone. I feel like it’s the only league that won’t have an *. That is, if they play the full 16. -
I know it’s impossible to put it on 1 guy but I’m going to repeat what I said, every week of last season: (First off) Beane has been amazing and he’s got so much equity built up with me that one mistake is nothing. But it was inexcusable to ever sign Frank Gore last year and even worse to constantly activate him for games. The fact that he got several carries in big spots is incomprehensible. The guy had been completely done for at least 3 years before he got to Buffalo. I will give him that he was solid in the Patriots game. But that in no way covers the rest of the season for me. This guy absolutely killed our momentum on so many occasions. No matter what we had going, Dabol could not help himself but to get Gore the ball early on downs and put us in a big hole. The entire thing was self inflicted for absolutely no reason. It was maddening to know that we had other RBs (in house) that would have given us so much more as a spell to Singletary. I am not sure how anyone alive could watch this team and not notice how shot this guys legs were. Somehow the only guy who couldn’t see it, was the offensive coordinator for the Bills. Holes were there. You could see that clearly anytime Singletary touched the ball. And don't get me wrong, I don’t blame Frank Gore. It’s not his fault he got old. It happens to all of us. And if someone wants to keep paying him, power to the guy. There was just no reason for us to ever have him here in the first place. You want him on the roster as a mentor to Singletary? I can live with that. Make him inactive and dress Yeldon then. In my eyes though (in this league) there is never a reason to pay, or even have an old running back...ever. I’m so happy that the Bills drafted Moss this year. I can’t wait to see what this offense looks like with 2 guys that can run. I know this wasn’t the only flaw our offense had last year but to me it was by far the biggest. Thankfully it got fixed over the offseason.

EJ Gaines to opt out for 2020

When are we in the clear with opt outs? Is today the last day to do it?
