This will be the worst loss in 20 years. This is exactly why bills fans act the way they do. We can’t ever get a break -

This is so ridiculous. Somebody on this defense HAS to step up, right now. This game is completely slipping away -

I know people can’t stand the guy, but why not move Lee Smith to FB? He’s not going to get on the field as a TE. He’s an excellent blocker. Maybe he could add an element to out rushing attack. -

They did a direct snap to Davis I believe and split Josh Allen out wide. It was a total waste and felt like a momentum killer. Don’t need trick plays when your offense is a good as ours right now. Stick to moving the ball and leave the gimmicks to a team with less skill. -
Week 3 always a bellweather
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m not sure how anyone saw Miami on the decline. They played at NE and had a look late and then played the Bills very tough. Had a late lead and pushed Josh Allen to throw for 415 to barely squeak one out. The Jags lost to the Titans and let them score 33. They beat the Colts who have a QB that was in game 1 of a new offense after no preseason and looks beyond done. I never saw that Thursday night game as a mismatch in any way and certainly not in favor of the Jags. Minshew spent the entire game throwing passes to the RB. They suck. -
Week 3 always a bellweather

Every team in the nfl is capable of winning any week. It’s what makes the league fun and what make a win so special. I’m at the point where I really don’t care “who we beat” Just keep stacking wins. Let other people worry about the semantics of how “quality” the wins are. It’s not college football. There are no style points. Every win counts as 1. You need every win you can get and when it’s all over, nobody is taking away the ones that were against lesser opponents. Each week has a different set of scenarios and game plans. There are any number of reasons as to why a win might not look super impressive. Or why teams matchup better in certain weeks. Just find a way to beat the team you are playing each week and don’t look back. -
Im not overstating anything. People keep trying to make Knox out to be some stud in heat here. The guy has done absolutely nothing and drops the ball almost every time it’s thrown to him. He’s by far the most overrated player on the roster by Bills fans. It time for him to start making plays now. It’s the anti Trent Murphy effect. Bills fans hate a hardworking, non flashy guy that gets paid. Murphy is actually a very solid player that goes 100mph to the whistle when he’s on the field. Most Bills fans have him “cut” every offseason. But then the same people love the high potential, talent freaks that never actually do anything. The Duke Williams, Knox, Wade types. It’s very strange to me.

17 Falcons 18 Vikings 19 Cowboys but to me the best “Win” this team has under McDermott, was 17 @ KC. Right after 3 straight beat down losses. Drought looming, the Bills looking totally lost for 3 games. Feeling like it’s going to end the same way it always does. Fans were miserable, Peterman got in during that stretch, just nothing going right...And we go into KC and get a must win game against a good chiefs team.

TNF: Dolphins at Jaguars, 8:20 on NFLN
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I still love Fitz. I really hope before he retires, he comes back to Buffalo for 1 more year as the backup. -
I know. I think this is a very difficult game and I mean this with no disrespect of the Rams...but I think they are the 4th best team in their own division. The Bills will have their hands full and it would be a very nice win but it’s by no means an opponent that outclasses us. This Bills just need to get the defense back on track and get Singletary involved. Play smart, play hard and be a little sharper then last week. The mistakes they made against Miami, will sink us against this team.

Not expecting to see Edmunds or Milano this week
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dodson was playing Edmunds role. That was my issue with the defense IMO. Milano makes a huge difference in this defense. He’s the best LB we have. If Milano is out again, our best bet is to play Dodson as the MLB and Edmunds outside. I want the guy that can run better to play WLB. That’s why it aggravated me to see Klein play Milanos role. They should have switched the 2 against Miami. -

I expect Edmunds but not Milano. Absolutely no reason to hold them out if they can go. We need every win we can get. Schedule is brutal. No chance you just go easy here. -
RB Antonio Williams signs with Bills (Again)

Bring in Zach Brown or Nigel Bradham for a visit. Also a few punters please -
Move Dodson into the starting LB's?
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Zach Brown and Bradham are both still FAs. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to look at 1 or both IMO. -

I would be trying to somehow get 15-20lbs on Dean Marlowe. He isn’t going to play over Hyde or Poyer but he could be a dynamic LB. he only needs to put on 15 or 20 to get to where some of the smaller LBs play. He would have exceptional speed and coverage abilities for a LB. He could have the makings of an interesting WLB option IMO.
