I hate both of these teams so much. The Pats hate is back in completely full force

I would give Prince Amukamara a look. He’s not great but he’s pretty solid. He seemed to be getting better each year and he has a lot of starting experience. I’d feel good throwing a veteran that isn’t completely finished in the mix with Wallace and Dane. Have a few options

First things first, you want the division. You want as many home playoff games as possible but you are almost definitely getting 0 if you don’t win the division. The Patriots have the same amount of losses as you and you have at least 3 difficult games left…..you want the Pats to get that 5th loss now so you could maybe even potentially bury them Monday. That’s it. I don’t care what Jeremy White’s silly Pct points say. There are way to many variables that I can never take it seriously. Get the Pats behind you period. You probably can’t realistically catch the Titans but if you do, it’s almost absolutely going to require winning out. If you go 13-4 and run off the last 7, you are either going to be the 1 or the 2. You also would probably have no fear of going to Ten in the AFC championship game. You took their best shot WITH Henry and was a slip away from beating them. You do not want to go behind NE, then somehow lose to them. And be chasing the chance at even 1 home playoff game. You want the Pats to lose today. Period. First things first, secure the Division. Why would you think that? He already lost to him in the playoffs WITH Brady? At home lol I think the Titans are going to win this game actually.

IMO you want the Pats to get that 5th loss. I’m not playing games here with how a win would effect the emotions of the Pats. They are coached by the best coach in NFL history. I want the Bills to win the division. Give the Pats that loss to put them behind us heading into Monday.

Tre White’s spot is open. Then cut Bobby Hart and Vernon Butler.

I would sign 2 or 3 of these guys and let them battle it out. Give us some outs. We have a better shot at finding 1 good corner if we have 4 or 5 to choose from.

I’m not trying to be a dick here but I can’t think of a single roster in the NFL with less “weaknesses” then us. The balance of this team is actually very impressive. This injury is a very big deal and now it puts a strength in question but I do not think there are a lot of weaknesses

Lol People acting like all these teams have all this crazy depth at CB. And we somehow missed the boat. We have 3 excellent CBS and like 2 other fringe guys on the bench. The entire roster is as balanced and strong as any roster in the NFL. This team has so many good players on defense. Way more then anyone else in the AFC. What did you want Beane to do? Have 7 starting caliber Corners on the roster lol? Every team in the league is “thin” at CB depth because there are so few good ones in the league. We are probably in as good shape as almost any team would be in this situation. It’s not fantasy football.

It already was really important and it might be a pipe dream now but man that #1 seed would be super important now. This team is going to need all the help it can get without Tre and us being at home in the entire playoffs would maybe give us a shot here. I can’t see this team going TO KC and beating them without Tre. If it’s in Buffalo….maybe.

Any sort of advance statistics on Dane last night? Pff or anything? I know he was getting burned on that go route early but I don’t remember feeling bad about him afterwards. I really liked him a lot in the Jet game last year. I kind of expected him to stick a little more then he had after that. I think he has a chance to be ok. Certainly not Tre. But I don’t think he will be a target

Hyde was a corner in the beginning but god knows they’d never wanna mess with that Safety combination. Hyde and Poyer might end up being the main reason we could MAYBE survive this.

Didn’t McKenzie play CB in a pinch once lol the guy is probably clamoring for his shot to get back in the mix now.

I know it’s totally different and I know they most likely won’t do it. I’m just saying I personally would try it. It’s not ideal. It’s a situation you never wanted to be in. I’d feel more comfortable using a young athletic guy that knows the system then a guy that’s barely ever started. And I don’t think the slot is as important as the outside. So I’d rather play the replacement level backup corner, in there. That’s just me. In a perfect world it never comes up. But that would be my attempt at salvaging the season. And who knows, maybe you accidentally uncover that he’s great on the outside too and you have more depth going forward.

It sounds like the Bills aren’t interested in this approach but the first thing I’d do: I’d take my chances with more 4-3 and Neal in the slot and move Tarron Johnson to the outside. Just for the rest of this year, not permanently. But I’d personally take my shot with 39/24 on the outside. They are the 2 best corners we have. I don’t feel uncomfortable with Neal in the slot and I’d play a lot of 4-3. I’d try that first to see how it went.

Sometimes teams rally around situations like this but just from a pure X’s and O’s Standpoint, you have to have guys out there that can still make plays. Just pure emotion and playing for a guy isn’t going to stop teams from exposing you if there are liabilities out there. I trust Levi and I like Dane but I’d bring in at least 2 veterans that have starting experience. Guys are available. Take a chance. The AFC is wide open. Don’t just throw away this season.

Levi Wallace probably becomes the most important player on this defense now. The drop off gap we need to worry about isn’t from the starters to Dane Jackson. It’s the drop off from Tre to Levi at #1 Go out and sign 3 or 4 veteran CBS with legitimate NFL experience and see if you can get lucky to piece this thing together. Can’t just fold up shop and you can’t just rely on what we have. Give yourself outs here.

In this day and age, I doubt it. I feel like if anyone knew, we’d all know by now.

That guy was never going to matter IMO. If he had to play we were in serious trouble. This team has championship aspirations. I need guys that you can win in the playoffs with. Levi and Johnson give you that look. Then deal with the slot.

I have actually been sort of envisioning a bizarre scenario where eventually Dawkins gets bounced inside down the road and you just have 2 monster Guards in Dawkins and Williams. Then playing Brown at one of the tackles and a player to be named later as the opposite tackle. No idea why. I just keep thinking about it. Super physical and just hammering people
