People are (for some reason) afraid to say negative things about Lamar Jackson. The guy isn’t a good passer. Great runner. A guy you can win with playing a certain way...can’t pass the ball. I don’t know why but there is an obsession with trying to make excuses about it. That’s the truth. People want to blame the lack of WRs. Jackson can’t throw to the outside. The WRs won’t matter if the guy can’t throw it to them. People want to blame the OC. Roman has done an amazing job with that team. It’s mind blowing to hear anyone think otherwise. He built an offense around an incredibly limited QB and scores a ton with a 1 dimensional offense. Jackson is not a good passer. That’s the long and short of it.

They might as well just leave it as the Washington football team now. Should have taken a day to come up with a name. It’s been a year. Just forget it

I live an hour from MetLife and have been a die hard bills fan my whole life....Engram can’t catch the ball. I don’t care how athletic he is, he sucks. He’s almost exactly the same as the guy we have now. Looks great carrying the ball...just can’t catch it in the first place. Dont bother.

Can probably use him as a FB at times to help get the run game going.

The Bills have never really had a good TE in 60 years. There have been guys that were “good for a Bills TE” but not any that were really top notch compared to the rest of the league. Even at 80%, Ertz would probably be the best TE the Bills ever had. That’s pretty sad but I will absolutely take it.

Maybe it’s just me but I have never been impressed with this guy. And I’m definitely not trying to pay a veteran RB. If we want another RB, draft a fast one in round 1/2. There’s almost no reason to ever pay a vet RB. The production difference is negligible and the salary difference is important. I’d only ever draft RBs...but that’s just me.

The addition of Hyde and Poyer might go hand and hand with the (indirect) turnaround of this franchise. The ground they cover gives us so much freedom on defense and they truly are 2 of the most underrated players in the league. Forever going forward, I will be in debt for the work that these guys have done on the field....Poyer is an all time Bill as far as I’m concerned and I pray that his life off the field is a happy one. Alcoholism is a very serious issue and if Poyer has overcome that, then that is an amazing accomplishment. I hope all is well with him going forward and I want him to know that he has the support of Bills mafia. On and off the field.

I’d be all in on Ertz. The addition of a legitimate pass catching TE could transform this offense. Ertz would instantly be the best TE in the history of this franchise. As sad as that is, it’s true.

Everyone always tries to reinvent the wheel with overtime. I say play an 8 min quarter. Whatever the score is after is the score.

Knox to FB. Help the run game. He can move pretty good and be like a Juszczyck with the ball in his hands. He also doesn’t have the hands to be a TE.

I know this is basically a joke but I absolutely love Shady. Until the last 2 years, this guy was our only elite skill position player for 2 decades. Shady Mccoy was the most important player in a chapter of Bills history and by far the biggest reason the drought ended. I think if I was in charge of a team, I would use preseason a little bit differently. I would absolutely welcome him back for 1 more year. Either to let him be the backup RB or (if nothing else) give him 1 more proper send off to the fans in the preseason. At worst, Give him a game to say thank you and goodbye the right way.

I realize this is completely fake but man I’d love to see him traded to the bears. Anywhere but the AFC and Im good lol

I wonder what the time line is on this thing. Will it spill into the beginning of FA in mid March? Or is he close to signing somewhere now?
