It was more of a deal when Moss went down last year. Or in games where things were happening and we were really thin at RB depth. The guy was on the team and dresses already and there was never even a thought of using him at RB. We put way to much value on ST in a time where the Kick return is essentially extinct. Other guys can do what he does AND play an actual position as well. That’s my point.

Bring him back as an offensive assistant that can be the QB coach next year. Assuming we lose Dabol and elevate Dorsey to OC.

I think it has to be a given that IF the helmet rule changes, it has to be the red for throwback purposes. The late 90s, puma era jerseys are breathtaking. If you ran a clean, 1999 road throwback with Red helmet as the alternate jerseys….they’d sell that merch out before the first day announcement was over.

I have Sunday ticket so (no exaggeration) I watch the Mix channel all day on the off time of the Bills game or during commercials (during Bills games) then watch every Thursday, Sunday and Monday night game. Every single prime time game. I absolutely love NFL football. It’s probably not possible to watch more then I already do. I wish games were staggered even more so I could literally watch every one.

Jordan Howard or Peyton Barber for that power back change up…I like the look of Gilliam getting those short carries but if we could add a RB that can turn the short ones into 5 or 6 yards. Maybe make Moss a trade option.

T. Jones absolutely is not worthy of a roster spot. If they used him as a KR or PR as well as the 3rd RB on game day…fine. The guy might be good at what he does, but not good enough to warrant the spot. This is a talented roster. Unless you plan to start giving him the ball here and there, cut him.

The depth on this team overall is very impressive. I think in a few areas, we are as stacked as any team I can ever remember. Our 6th and 7th best WRs could start on a few teams. That’s inconceivable. I’m slightly concerned with the depth in the secondary. I think our actual starting secondary is the best in the league, but the backups are a little concerning. At corner there will be 2 guys I feel comfortable with incase of injuries but at safety (if a starter goes down) I think we are screwed. I wouldn’t mind seeing a veteran added to the back end depth post cuts. Tight end is still a spot where we have almost nothing. If Duke Williams was smart enough to read the room, he should have spent the entire last year putting on 20/30lbs and making a position change to TE. He was never going to make this roster as a WR but if he could transfer his skill set to a bigger body and play TE, I think he could be a factor. We seem to have a roster full of backups at TE. It’s the one blemish on this roster IMO. In this franchise’s history we have never had a legitimate top tier TE. It’s not a post to start another Ertz thread but he certainly could have taken this one roster hole out of the discussion.

Fromm is actually playing pretty well. The guy absolutely was a steal where we drafted him. I hope we find a way to keep him around

I understand the position difference and the general idea behind the responsibilities, but I’d like to see Star and Butler in there together more. Sacrifice the up the middle pressure for the consistency in protection of Edmunds and the hope that you can be tough against the run inside. Maybe it would also give the outside edge rushers more room to work
