I actually love this guy as a player. I know what he’s done is catch an incredible amount of passes but he’s a good runner too. I think the Bills should just make this guy the every down RB and see what’s what

Hopefully this doesn’t stop us from bringing in another punter. I would have just cut him all together halfway through last season but this better not keep us from trying to get better at the position. Bring in a guy for a camp battle at least. People laugh at punters being important but they matter. The ones who are very good can really help you and the ones who are terrible can really hurt you. We know what this guy is unfortunately.

This team is 95% built. You don’t been to apply the same silliness to roster building as a team that’s far away. One of the best non QBs in the league that is a complete playmaker on offense and a guy to turn the tide of physicality on defense could be the difference in winning the whole thing.

We do not need Engram. He’s not any good. Go out and find a way to get Mccafrey and draft a starting MLB round 1 and let’s win the super bowl

This team is obsessed with having as many C- Defense ends as possible. Stop bringing in and rotating 6 or 7 of them and find 1 good one.

I know what I’m about to say is pretty random and probably barely relevant but in 2013 when the Bills played in Pittsburgh, it was maybe the quietest crowd I can ever remember hearing. It was when EJ was the QB and him being the biggest bust in Bills recent draft history made the game borderline unwatchable but the crowd was atrocious. It was like they were asleep. I never forgot that. This teams fan base is widely regarded as one of the best in the NFL because of how well they travel. I feel like they are completely overrated tbh.

Well there is a now 2 day legal tampering period where you can do those things. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen but id assume it’s not happening with the likes of a borderline role player that most people outside of Bills fans have never heard of. The only way that he can know he’s not coming back Is if the Bills told him they don’t want him. No way another team has this guy pegged enough to have him locked up 9 days before the legal tampering period. He’s just not that good.

How would he even know what other teams are going to offer him in FA yet?

Because he just isn’t good enough. You aren’t going anywhere with Carr as your QB. I would have gotten rid of him a long time ago. He’s ok. He’s certainly not bad. But he’s not getting you where you want to go. I would have started Mariotta over him. At least that guy gives you something with his legs.

Every time I bring it up people want to cry but this defense needs to be better. I bet there is friction because of the way Fraizer calls the defense. We had wonderful stats this season…I fully understand that. We also played against a lot of really bad Offenses. It seems like every good QB carves us. It also seems like when we truly need a big stop, we rarely get it. Physical teams push us around and we can’t stop the run. We have elite talent in the backend of this defense. I think we could be an all time defense with the right DC. I bet McDermott feels like the stats don’t tell the tale here and that they are capable of being better. Probably causes friction

I don’t know why I feel like I’m in the minority on this here. It couldn’t be any simpler to me….play a 7 min overtime. Whatever the score it is, it is.

There has never been a time where STs has mattered less. It’s almost been completely phased out. That’s why the game day roster decisions are so frustrating. If you can ONLY play ST…unless you are a kicker/punter or LS, you don’t need to be on the team. STs just means almost nothing at this point. The plays are almost always either meaningless or penalties. Stop dressing guys that only play ST

Objectively I feel like we ran up stats on terrible offenses this year. Good QBs shred us, physical run games shred us and almost every drive or situation that we need a big stop, we don’t get it. We get bailed out because we have the best Safety tandem in football by a mile. Once they lose a step we are going to be in trouble. We are a good defense and nowhere near bad but we could be a great one. The stats showed us to be better then we actually were because we played a lot of inept quarterbacks. This is how I feel objectively. Believe me I’m not blinded to what I’m seeing. I know we are a good defense but I want to win this whole thing. I feel like there is a limit with what we can be with Fraizer unfortunately. I want more then good.

I’m not sure why everyone just assumes Mitch won’t be back. It’s not like he had a bunch of games where he showed teams he should be starting. He was a great feeling to have here as a backup but I think we are highly overstating his value across the league. He’s absolutely not getting a starting job somewhere next year. I don’t know why he wouldn’t want to come back here. If he wants to go somewhere to complete for a starting job, off hand there are probably less then 5 teams where that could even be a thought. Most teams have qb situations where they are either sewn up, or are looking to see what their young guys can do. I think the market for him is smaller then perceived. I expect Mitch back.

That high win pressure rate stuff is a little bit subjective if you ask me. We all probably have seen every snap of this team does anyone really think we are getting to the QB consistently? Does it feel the way it does watching the Rams? Or a team that sends guys? I’m not saying it never happens and I’m not saying we are terrible at it but I don’t feel like we are a top tier pressure team. I know what that stat says but a lot of that stuff is subjective borderline opinion based. I just think there are time where we sit back and hope a team doesn’t make a play, rather then just flat out stop someone. And physical run teams push us around. That happens. Just watch the games. I don’t like that. I liked Schwartz and even Pettines style more then Fraizer. I want my defense to make teams feel uncomfortable. Against bad QBs, we do that. But when a guy figures us out, there doesn’t seem to be a plan B. There’s no change up here once a guy figures out what we want to do. We have excellent players on this defense and I honestly think the scheme is holding us back. That last KC game was probably my breaking point with Fraizer. I want a new voice in there. One with some fire.

Pressure. Blitzing. Coverage. Overall scheme in general. The guy has always just been a soft shell passive aggressive, sit back and give a team things underneath but not make a team feel uncomfortable. We play a soft defense in my opinion. I want a defense that sets a physical tone and forces teams to feel uncomfortable. We are so set on not being beat over the top that we concede a lot. The good QBs that are willing to be patient can really gash us. A physical run game often bullies us. I think our personnel on defense is excellent. I couldn’t stand Frazier with Minnesota and for the most part, I don’t like him here. We certainly could be much worse I fully understand that. But I feel like there is meat left on the bone and I think what we are, is all we can be if Fraizer hangs around. Let’s see a new voice and try to get over that KC hump. Or just give the Defense to McDermott all together and see what we have.

Can we just find a way to get Frazier out? Go get a guy with a few new ideas and see if we can’t be even better on defense? I know the stats showed we were great but that was misleading. We have elite talent on that side of the ball IMO. I think the scheme is actually holding us back. I think a more aggressive DC could turn this group of players into an all time dominant defense. We are going through a lot of house cleaning here with the coaching staff…just go all the way and get Frazier out.

You are never winning anything with Carr as your QB. He’s barely more then just a guy. If I had nothing at QB, I could see giving Carr 40 min total for about 4 years. If the Raiders are dumb enough to pay him then they deserve what they get.

I actually like Dodson. I kind of wish he had gotten a little playing time over the last 2 seasons. I thought he played pretty well in Miami the year he was able to start. Always was hoping to see more of him.

He could potentially walk away now: Take a decade of stress off his life then come back while he’s still young and get a second act in coaching.
