There are a couple of FAs that can play the slot. Adam Humphries/Tavon Austin. Guy that have done it before and might bring the veteran craftiness that Beasley had. Assuming the Beasley ship is completely sailed. You also could bring in a guy like Will Fuller to play the outside with Davis and slide Diggs in there more. I like Shakir but obviously the guy can’t get on the field. Cook had shown flashes for a month but until yesterday the coaches couldn’t tell. I’d say try Hines in there full time but I can’t see them trying that either.

That’s why the Viking game sucked so much. You’ll have people tell you it doesn’t matter because it’s an NFC loss….not understanding they all count as 1. The Chiefs won’t lose again, we are going to have to beat them there. Better get the defense fixed long before then.

All we had to do was stop the run against them but we just refused to get out of a nickel defense. It’s very frustrating. The other team ran it 8 or 9 straight times from their own 10 against us in the biggest spot. It’s inexcusable. Put a LB on the field

No matter what anyone feels about the blame, it’s as simple as we need you…bad. Play or stop wasting the roster spot. Doesn’t matter who is right, doesn’t matter who is wrong. Get on the field or get off the roster so we can use the spot for someone else

The defense needs to get fixed now because otherwise the Lions will light us up. I wish McDermott would take over the defensive play calling but everyone seems to love Fraizer. Hopefully another team loves him enough to hire him away

I live in the Hudson valley I have avoided WFAN and ESPN ny since we lost to the Jets. I hate the Jets 50x more then I hate the Pats…I’m excited to listen on the way to work 2mrw. ***** them lol

If we are going to run the ball well, it’s going to make us very hard to beat. I was pleased with things I saw from the offense. Very concerned about the defense. Need that fixed now

You know what’s strange about Knox? I can’t ever remember just hitting him on like an on time pass. Just like a normal, hit the back foot and throw it to him. It’s like every single Knox catch is on an extended play or a scramble drill. We never just throw it to him on schedule

I liked seeing Knox and Cook getting involved. I feel like today could actually be a turning point for this offense getting moving a bit. I think this was a sustainable change where we spread it around and didn’t do what we normally do. I actually liked the offense from the 2nd quarter on. The Defense sucks. I’m so tired of this passive ***** game that Fraizer wants to play. We have the horses on defense. I wish McDermott would just take over the play calling and let’s start dictating.

I had a lot going on here today and couldn’t really focus as much as I wanted to, what was the deal with Rhodes? I saw him make a pretty smart play on Cooper. All I saw was our other Corners getting torched. Was Rhodes out there playing Corner at all? It might be time to start looking at him a little more because our other guys were toast all day.

I liked the balance today on offense. I think there was a lot of good stuff there. Allen was horrible through the first quarter and a half but once he settled in I liked it. That’s the type of game we need from our offense. Spread it around, run, protect the ball and just keep ending drives with points. After the first quarter we started rolling a bit. The Defense was bad all day. Milano and Poyer are great but this defense is really disappointing. Can’t get off the field on 3rd down almost regardless of distance, poor tackling and our cBs got abused all day. We got very lucky to have some breaks because we were not making stops. That needs to get cleaned up immediately. Take the W and be happy but this was a bad day on defense IMO.
