The Bills have never really had a good TE in 60 years. There have been guys that were “good for a Bills TE” but not any that were really top notch compared to the rest of the league. Even at 80%, Ertz would probably be the best TE the Bills ever had. That’s pretty sad but I will absolutely take it.

Maybe it’s just me but I have never been impressed with this guy. And I’m definitely not trying to pay a veteran RB. If we want another RB, draft a fast one in round 1/2. There’s almost no reason to ever pay a vet RB. The production difference is negligible and the salary difference is important. I’d only ever draft RBs...but that’s just me.

The addition of Hyde and Poyer might go hand and hand with the (indirect) turnaround of this franchise. The ground they cover gives us so much freedom on defense and they truly are 2 of the most underrated players in the league. Forever going forward, I will be in debt for the work that these guys have done on the field....Poyer is an all time Bill as far as I’m concerned and I pray that his life off the field is a happy one. Alcoholism is a very serious issue and if Poyer has overcome that, then that is an amazing accomplishment. I hope all is well with him going forward and I want him to know that he has the support of Bills mafia. On and off the field.

I’d be all in on Ertz. The addition of a legitimate pass catching TE could transform this offense. Ertz would instantly be the best TE in the history of this franchise. As sad as that is, it’s true.

Knox to FB. Help the run game. He can move pretty good and be like a Juszczyck with the ball in his hands. He also doesn’t have the hands to be a TE.

I know this is basically a joke but I absolutely love Shady. Until the last 2 years, this guy was our only elite skill position player for 2 decades. Shady Mccoy was the most important player in a chapter of Bills history and by far the biggest reason the drought ended. I think if I was in charge of a team, I would use preseason a little bit differently. I would absolutely welcome him back for 1 more year. Either to let him be the backup RB or (if nothing else) give him 1 more proper send off to the fans in the preseason. At worst, Give him a game to say thank you and goodbye the right way.
