I think it’s a lot about trust here as well. You can almost see it that between Gabe/McKenzie and Knox, Josh almost looks hesitant. Like “is this guy going to catch the ball if I hit him in the hands with it?” Diggs obviously the trust is there but the other guys are rightfully questionable. Beasley was incredibly reliable and so was John Brown on a smaller scale. People were so fast to start criticizing Beasley last year. It was almost like the Vax thing created an environment where anything that was less then perfect was going to get put under a microscope. Thats a shame because he was a very productive player. I’m not sure what people wanted from the guy, I kept hearing Schopp complain about his yards per target and yards after catch going down….that had more to do with Josh then anything. The guy is a get to the sticks, safety blanket with sure hands. The Bills aren’t even calling drag routes or pick plays, what do people expect the slot WR to do? The guy is getting to the yard to gain and showing Josh is chest. When you are sitting in the zone like that and Defenses are closing in behind you where are you supposed to go? As long as he’s still able to catch the ball we are going to love having him back. He’s going to still know how to get open. In those tiny underneath routes he’s almost impossible to cover in that space. If people are expecting the guy to have 12-15 yards per catch then they just aren’t understanding the spacing of this offense. We have other guys to do that.

I’m not “touching the money” here because we are Bills fans and we can’t ever have anything nice….but IF/When we get this thing….it’d be great for Beasley and Brown to be on that team. They were a part of this thing turning around and if we get a ring they should be there

The aggravating part is I think we are and just don’t use the right guys enough. I think this offense can absolutely take off if it started to feature Cook in an early career Kamara role. The guy is electric with the ball in his hands. Nobody on the field wants to see that guy in space with the ball in his hands. That includes our Coach apparently. I also think Shakir has flashed every chance he’s gotten. The guy should have been the slot WR for months now. I don’t know what our own coaches see sometimes but just because they do it, doesn’t mean it’s right. Ray Charles could see Frank Gore was done 4 years before he got to Buffalo. These guys were obsessed with getting him involved. Same situation with Moss. The guy was a drive killer but they had to feed him. Now they are just refusing to use Cook who is a dynamic playmaker. It’s infuriating

I don’t think either one of them has either an arm or athleticism. Just accurate, 1 read pre determined throws that can’t move. If you get them to hold the ball an extra second you are good

Just have to keep building and take wins no matter what it looks like. Definitely still aggravating to watch this 3rd down defense. Wish we would blitz more but this is what we are. The offense was off all day. Hope it was just a rough day due to weather. Got to get Dane off the field, idk how Elam or Rhodes aren’t better. Still, got the W. Go Bills!

It’s a ***** joke that this game is even close. You just have no clue on 3rd down. How many times do we have to let a guy stand back there and get comfortable? Not only do you let the QB make a throw you also let the WRs get passed the marker. It’s every time
