Using that many guys and constantly using all of those guys is very different. I’m not wrong and I’m not going to say I am. We rotate too much. There’s a ton of grey area between using a guy a handful of snaps for a rest and using pre determined entire until rotations regularly. I don’t even know how to find stats that would show all of it all I can find is this from 21. https://billswire.usatoday.com/2021/12/04/next-gen-stats-buffalo-bills-rotate-defensive-line-sean-mcdermott/ at that point we had 5 games ourselves of that type of rotation and the rest of the 31 teams in the nfl had a total of 3. Using 8 guys isn’t the same as giving 8 or 9 games almost equal playing time

We rotate more than anyone. Our good Dlinemen barely even play half the game. It’s too much. You want to give a guy I breath here and there, fine. But not entire drives of full line rotation constantly. It’s incredible we won’t put a 3rd LB in obvious run situations and will just let teams run it down our throat in nickel no matter what but we will rotate the Dline no matter what

The Bills have a Tre White problem
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Back2Buff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our problem is philosophical and not personnel related on defense. If that doesn’t chance, it won’t even matter. Guys just falling back giving accurate QBs all day to hit simple throws. It sounds even more ridiculous every time I say it. Hoping a QB gets bored taking easy throws….this is a grown adults mindset -

I’m good with White and Elam. I think you just figure very soon, if not now…Elam becomes the 1 and White is the 2 -
Maybe I moss understand the definition of the rule, but Is it not that dressing a 3rd QB doesn’t count against the game day active and it actually gives you 1 extra guy anyway? Essentially that the 3rd QB is a free active roster spot regardless? Not having a 3rd QB dressed is insane to me. You are 2 plays away from having a RB playing QB in a playoff game. Teams are to cute for their own good

3 super physical, town setting, aggressive powerhouse defensive philosophies in the division. And here we come with the drop back and ***** shell that was horrible In Minnesota. Just wasting Josh’s prime

Old Buffalo Bills Message Board
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Floridagatorsbuffalobills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Me and that guy would go at it hard over Fitz. And then EJ. I loved Fitz, especially when he was the backup in 09 and hated that we wasted that year with Edwards at all. Then I wanted Fitz to come back for camp in 13 to give EJ some legitimate competition. Man I hated EJ. We were a horrible football team lol -

We got immensely better on defense when Rex was replaced. I suppose that doesn’t help my anti Fraizer argument. Also when Schwartz took over we got much better. It’s not a big deal. It can help immediately -
Old Buffalo Bills Message Board

It was truly insane how 1 day it was just gone. I kept expecting it to just be a site maintenance thing and it would just load back up. It was a period of confusion and denial then you were just marooned into the abyss -
Just no. Fix the defense. It’s a philosophy that’s broken. There are no rules saying if you have a good QB that your defense isn’t allowed to be good

My only hope is they only have to technically fire the guys with contracts and they just can not bring back Fraizer. Everyone there needs to be gone, just hopefully this is the removal of the people that still had contracts -
Old Buffalo Bills Message Board
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Floridagatorsbuffalobills's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was definitely more volatile over there. Maybe some of it was the drought and just nothing to be happy about but you had to be ready to roll up your sleeves after almost any opinion. Nobody was glossing over it. You were going to have to argue daily over things that (looking back) were much to do about nothing. That board enjoyed almost no success from a team standpoint. It was elbows up -

For the love of god start over completely on defense or we are just wasting dressings of Josh’s prime -

I’m pretty sure that butch from the east side was on there. The guy that always calls WGR. It’s been a while but I remember hearing him on there thinking this must be the same guy. Remember the ball burglars? -

That place was like an obsession for me lol I couldn’t understand what I was looking at when I went on and it was gone. It was such a habit I didn’t know what to do with myself. I can’t believe how much it bothered me the first few days. Thankfully I remember (from there) people talking about this board….it’s worked out very well and I really appreciate the existence of this place. It really filled a void and it’s basically as if this has been home now. Certainly at this stage I feel as connected to this place as I did there but those first few weeks were crazy. Man I used to get in all out wars with guys over EJ. I was like starting parades for Thad Lewis because I hated EJ so much. People got so heated over Fitz and EJ lol. I remember always going at it with guys like ShaunTa or something or other. Even though I eventually ended up right about EJ, people were ready to meet up in parking lots over defending him -
Im good with McDermott being the DC. I just can’t deal with Fraizer again

Beane End of Year Presser
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to thenorthremembers's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you don’t get rid of Fraizer, you aren’t beating the good teams when it matters. We had zero shot or plan for even slowing the bengals down. It was truly pathetic. The good teams are going to embarrass us with this pre school scheme. As long as this guy is involved we are going nowhere. -
Free Agents and Offseason Situation

Trade for Hopkins let every FA you have right now walk unless you can get Poyer back draft a tone setting, instinctive physical LB to be the face of this defense in round 1/2. More Spikes/Cowart mold. find a way to get the Oline significantly more physical. stop drafting D lineman
