  1. There are teams where you need those extra picks and you don’t move them for a Vet at an advanced age. There are also teams where you don’t have a ton of open roster spots annyway and it’s not really even sensible to draft 6+ guys. We are a player or two away from winning the Super Bowl. Do it. Then the next offseason, go full send on getting younger. Win 1. You have to get 1. You can’t have Josh be the Kelly 2.0 and never even finish one. Get a championship then you buy at least 5 years here. That sounds dumb but it’s true. You win 1 and it probably buys both Beane and McDermott at least 5 free years here. It probably gives your franchise 20 in the eyes of fans.
  2. The way people over value draft picks is embarrassing. A 2nd and a 3rd for one of the 15 best WRs in football? Nah let’s keep them. It’s nothing to piss away those picks on rotational Dlineman that give you almost nothing year after year….yeah that’s no big deal, reload and try again. But here’s a guy that can probably help you win a Super Bowl? And we are thinking that’s too much? Come on.
  3. We could not stop this guy in the game that cam Newton blew. The only thing stopping Harris was the patriots playcalling
  4. This guy is a monster and IMO one of the best RBs in the league. He runs so hard I love this.
  5. ***** yes!!! Love it
  6. There’s no way we moved that money around to sign a bunch of STs guys that are not even upgrades. We must have something coming here one way or another. Maybe it’s a trade I’m not sure. But Beane is too good for this to be the offseason. We must have a Big WR or RB move coming here soon.
  7. I’m just aggravated with that. This team is never once allowed to have an off day offensively. The defense can get steamrolled by every accurate QB and physical run team. Nobody cares. This offense avg like 28 points a game for 4 straight years and all everyone does is complain about the weapons. The defense is our problem. It’s been the problem. It’s asking way too much of this offense to put up 30 every single game. It’s not sustainable and it’s not right honestly. I’m blaming the defense. When you are getting zero resistance on every drive defensively, it makes the offense press.
  8. There’s just no way to think we can beat them now, until we see it. Both times we saw them last season, our defense was on skates. Zero answers. The 1 saving grace is Fraizer being gone. If we ran back the same defense, it was going to be a very helpless feeling. At least now you think it can be different. But again, I’ll have to see us beat them before I know they can.
  9. I like Damien Harris. I think that guy is incredibly underrated and one of the best RBs in the league. I’d love to see him and cook here
  10. I have very little confidence in a guy that tiny. I’m not sure if the plan is to find a Tyreek Hill style player but I seriously doubt this guy is it. And with the unexplainable obsession with STs…I’m sure that’s a plan here too. Which, why are we bringing Hines back then? This team just will not get away from these STs roster spots. The truth is, STs has been almost rendered useless
  11. I’m not the guy that complains about us not doing enough. This team has been great the last handful of years here and I’m truly appreciative. Im so happy that Fraizer is gone and we will be better for that alone…but what are we actually doing here? Poyer being back is big but what’s the plan at WR/RB/OL/MLB? I’m not saying we are running out of time or anything but we definitely haven’t gotten any better here.
  12. David is gone now. I’m good with Wagner
  13. Im loving this. All the key pieces I wanted back on defense, and thr subtractions of Leslie and Edmunds. This is my dream scenario. Now go get a stud, physical, instinctive MLB and go dominate
  14. I like it. He can move around and still give us a look incase of injury.
  15. Cmon trade for Henry and Hopkins and let’s just go win this thing
  16. I’d like to see a guy that can move. I don’t want the offense to completely change if Josh goes down. I liked having Trubitsky because he can really run. I’d like another guy in that mold.
  17. Is this guy really going to be cheaper than Poyer? Probably will be incredibly similar money
  18. Fletcher was so much better than Edmunds cmon. I don’t even really want the guy back whatsoever. I’m ready to move on here.
  19. Bring him in, use every bit of anything he has left for 1 big run at this thing. Try and get 1 SB then just hard reset with youth after you win one. Load up for another one before Josh is old.
  20. Whatever this is, we need Diggs. The guy is probably the best WR in Bills history. I have no interest in trading him. I want us to get better, not worse. Please just make it right. We can’t afford to lose this guy.
  21. I never want to pay any RB ever…but this guy, i am making an exception. I’d be thrilled
  22. When people come at you for saying Fraizer has been the problem all along….Not everyone here ONLY watches the Bills. I hated this guy’s defense in Minnesota. It was always going to be that all over. It’s so unbelievably predictable and passive aggressive. I want my defense to make you react. Not sit back and hope for boredom and mistakes. For all the people that want to go for the throat on offense. That’s double for my defensive mindset. Make THEM uncomfortable. The only reason it ever “worked” here was because we had incredible talent on the backend. 21/27/23 were just flat out erasers. And If we played less than good QBs, we were going to embarrass them. This guys scheme is atrocious. Whatever we were, it would have been even better with an aggressive modern defensive mind in control. This move was 2 years too late but I’ll take it. So happy.
  23. The crazy part about that with Schopp….he always says that. You never know who is going to be good in the draft and that teams might as well just use the Mel keiper brake downs as scouting reports. Saying it’s a crapshoot. But then he also ALWAYS says he wants to trade back to get more picks? If you don’t have any clue what you are getting, why is he obsessed with getting more picks? I guess if his idea is you never know, you want more chances…but if you have no clue then why is he so against using those picks for proven commodities? The way they act as if defenses and running games don’t matter drive me insane. I realize the game has changed but things aren’t just black and white. There is a considerable gray area between passing league and all you have to do is pass. Also, being aggressive on 4th down and kicking less FGs…fine. That’s understandable in certain situations. But there are also alot of times where it’s not the best idea. They go off these numbers as if there’s never a time to think. The information is wonderful and it should be used as a tool to make decisions. But it can’t be telling you what to do regardless of circumstances. For guys that almost never make direct statements and always follow up things with “that doesn’t have to be right” they certainly can’t be told anything about circumstance.
  24. Howard seems like a nice guy, wish him well. Obviously he is a true radio professional and understands how an on air program should move technically. Probably could have done radio of any genre. He certainly leaned hard into the old man, nerd guy. It was overkill at times and never once funny. My biggest issue with him is he simply knew nothing about sports. Maybe his schedule of having to get up early for the show made it hard for him to stay awake to watch? Or maybe he just didn’t think he had to try because he was around for so long. Him picking the Bills was such a big thing to those guys. They could have had the janitor pick the games and it’d be most likely more sensible. If you are a true die hard sports fan, it’s tough to find sports talk shows where you feel Impressed with their opinions. Other than the guys on gambling shows or a few film breakdown/old GM types…you usually aren’t hearing anything that moves the needle. But when it’s painfully clear that a guy knows close to zero, it’s tough. Jeremy is horrible. He tries to be like Schopp and succeeds by being wrong constantly. Coming up with ludicrous or factually incorrect statements to then use as reasoning for opinions is aggravating. Sal is certainly a homer, nobody can fight against that. But you can hear it in his voice because of how often he is frustrated by these WGR takes. Sal knows what he’s talking about but I think he gets handcuffed by not wanting to step on toes. I have heard him get very upset with Schopp before because these guys on WGR, truly are clueless about most things. It’s as if, Schopp, Jeremy and the most used young guy (they all sound the same) all get together and just decide the narratives to push. Never punting and going for 2 constantly, thinking defense doesn’t matter, wanting to pass every down, only wanting offensive HC etc. It’s like they take a tiny idea that has validity in certain situations and just run it to intolerable levels. And nobody can say anything to change their minds. A punt is a turnover…..That’s something that you’d hear an 8 year old say. These guys really talk that way.
