  1. With the 28th pick the Pittsburgh Steelers pick Oklahoma State QB Mason Rudolph. Jags are on the clock With few picks this draft, all the Lbs gone Pitt was hunting for round 1 and with Big Ben talking retirement every season the time is now to train his replacement.
  2. Funny thing, thread title. "Franchsie" A good team builds around a franchise worthy QB to have a team worthy of multiple playoff runs that can run deep into the playoffs otherwise you end up in Whaleyland wishing for that one miracle that never happens till that one time after being fired Cinci comes to the rescue and the QB you have as a franchise QB craps the bed. Others were also injuried in his list, while also playing there first year, the OP should delete this thread. Horrible
  3. They have been talking about a big pocket QB that will stay in the pocket after multiple reads so I do not see them taking Jackson. I agree we should have just kept Tyrod if Jackson is who they draft. I do not want a younger version of Tyrod. If after all this they end up with Jackson I will be disappointed in this staff.
  4. If Darnold,Rosen and Mayfield are gone Rudolph is who I would pick at 12. Or trade up from 22 to grab him at 15 or so.
  5. IMO, Yep your the only one. Jets will be a top team with the Fish for many years and our running Tyrod will be on IR every year with those toothpick legs.
  6. Yes it is, to take a QB exactly like the one we just had for 3 years and traded away, very Billsy. Ill lose a bunch of respect for this staff if Jackson is who we end up with. All the talk about a pocket QB, SMH
  7. Not in this draft. With no trades I can see Arizona grabbing him as well before our 22 pick. Rudolph is ranked as the fifth- or sixth-best quarterback in this draft. He often is placed behind USC’s Sam Darnold, UCLA’s Josh Rosen, Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield, Wyoming’s Josh Allen and Louisville’s Lamar Jackson. However, Rudolph thinks he’s the best of the bunch. “I think I’m the best quarterback in this class, for sure,” Rudolph told CBS Sports’ Jim Rome in January. “You look at the tape and you look at what I’ve done over four years, the experience I’ve had, the starts, the ability to push the ball down the field and athletic enough … more athletic than people give me the credit for and get out of situations.”
  8. I do not think Rudolph will last till 22 if Bills wait for him or even Denver. IMO NE will for sure to take him right before us with a modest jump that way it helps them and screws us. I can see Rudolph on NE and if they can wait for him they will but if they smell blood they will strike and take him IMO. I really hope its not Jackson I am so done with the run after one read QB. I agree Denver could move back but IMO if they wait to take a QB they will just move back into round one to get him with a trade up and at 5 take BPA.
  9. I wonder who the Bills take at 12 then if they are so interested in getting us a QB like they have been saying. Rudolph? Jackson?
  10. They for sure would take him at 11 IMO, I think Tanny is on his last year of his contract. Could Rosen actually fall to Miami at 11? Mel Kiper defends his polarizing projection Here’s how: “The only reason I dropped him was because I gave [Saquon] Barkley a 2. Translation: Kiper believes the Giants will use the second overall pick on Barkley, the dynamic Penn State running back, and that Mayfield, not Rosen, will be the third quarterback off the board, behind Oklahoma State’s Josh Allen and USC’s Sam Darnold. Understand that the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Denver Broncos, and possibly Pittsburgh Steelers are going to be searching for quarterback help this offseason. And, yes, so will the Dolphins.
  11. Man it can go so many ways. If Giants trade out and Buffalo comes in because of Cleveland going Barkley then Cleveland gets what's left at 4 after now 2 teams take QBs. What a crazy draft this is.
  12. The Giants IMO are for sure taking Barkley if Cleveland trys to wait till pick 4 for him. IMO it is a very smart move for Cleveland considering there might only be one of the 4 QBs taken leaving a choice of 3 to take at pick 4 while also having Barkley already on the roster. If Cleveland goes QB first and Giants take Barkley then Cleveland would go with Chubb or trade out of 4 IMO . I really think Barkley at 1 is a no brainer and what they will do leaving pick 4 a choice of what QB is left, it is a nice trade off to get the best back and one of the top 2-4 QBs in this draft IMO. If Giants trade pick 2 to the Bills IMO Cleveland then would go QB knowing Bills/Jets go QB and they will get Barkley at 4.
  13. Doesn't Billacheats kid also work for the Pats and will maybe take over someday, if true then the rumors about Billacheat wanting to keep Crapplo for next up should make the look for next up QB a little more dire need then your stateing. I am not sure of his family member or son or whomever but I could have sworn a next in line Billacheat was already getting groomed. Anyone know for sure?
  14. Lucky you, what movie you going to see?
  15. Maybe they want to move up a little from 12 and grab a QB and then use picks to move up from 22 to grab a better player earlier. 2 picks in the top 15?
  16. Ill stay with Pittsburgh
  17. I want a dam QB and I want a good one for once. I have been waiting since Kelly and if this staff fails to get me one I will for sure be one of those on the suicide watch. Am I negative right now? Yes, yes I am but with the waiting game going on and the Jets sliding in for the kill I can see this staff doing what all the others did and I don't think I can take another let down from OBD when all the cards were in prime location to make it happen right for once. Got my fingers crossed it works out but man as much as the cards are in the right place they are also in the wrong place just missing by this much again. Once the draft is done until then I am going crazy waiting esspecialy since the Jets just jumped us and we still sit at 12 with other teams wanting the same thing, one of the top 2018 QBs.
  18. Thinking that nobody can touch them and boom in comes the Jets. SMH at the waiting game, get it done now to make sure we at least get that far IMO.
  19. Jackson is as dumb as a bag of rocks and is a one read then run QB. We just had 3 years of that with Tyrod. Jackson's lower half of his body is skrony(huge injury risk in the NFL), I hope the Bills stay far away from him, IMO he is not a option and I do not think they will take him even at 12. I am not a Tyrod fan but I would take Tyrod over Jackson. I agree Allen should not be in the top 4 but with him being a big guy with a big arm and did good on his WL score I can see why some teams put him higher. IMO he is a early 2nd rounder and I would take Rudolph before him if I had the choice.
  20. Sadly this does not matter to the Bills. One of the lower round QBs will have to sit a few years behind a franchise QB to become good. It never works for the Bills with a later round QB because we have no franchise QB for him to sit behind. That luxury is for a team that has a proven franchise starter not a backup starter from some other team like the Bills always use..
  21. Why would you say this to a long time season ticket holder, is it because truth is the Bills always just miss when it comes to waiting for a QB to drop to the value they hold said QB at? IMO do what they can now or some other team will pull a Jet on them and then it's too late. Take the top 10 pick now and hope the draft day trade even happens, sadly I will not count on it. The waiting game fails everytime just look at the last few decades.
  22. I would be shocked if they pull a deal off and get any of the top 3 QBs. IMO the waiting game they are playing is going to bite them like the Jets did.
  23. Take the trade with the Bucs now and if a wait till draft day to move up to 2 happens it will be easier to trade that Buc pick then the 12 pick. If they wait some other team could pull a Jet and take even that option from us long before the draft even happens..
  24. Sadly it is showing they failed bad by letting the Jets get in under there cheap nose. IMO the other teams in the top 5 are saying either spend big or go home empty handed. IMO the OBD PR machine will be singing hard saying they tried but couldn't move up when IMO the truth is OBD went in trying to make a cheap Ralph Wilson trade and ended up the way OBD always ends up, on the outside looking in. Sadly IMO if a QB doesn't fall to us at 12 (if thats what they are thinking they already failed)we will not have one till round 2 or 3 and that will give this staff nothing but backup QBs the next 2 years. 2020 will be interesting on who OBD will be looking to come in to clean up McMess.
  25. Sadly that is not a option 2019 draft has zero to offer for QB and we have no guarantees we would get the top pick. Its this year or bust for a QB IMO. They already failed IMO by letting the Jets into the top 5 and IMO will bite them hard for it when fighting to sign the next contract here when this staff proves it also failed at finding a franchise worthy QB in the draft and is stuck with a roster of backup QBs for next season starter.
