  1. Yeah not even close. Rational is one thing but the name calling is ok as long as it geared toward the posters you do not like, right?. I get it man the best way to shut up the negative is to discredit them and throw in a few name calling, it's the same tactic used on the BBMB and brought over here. Extremes is your post it had nothing to do with you but yet here you are doing the COT pile on about a negative post on Tyrod. I take things I have seen posted on this board and BBMB about Tyrod, the extreams are huge on how some post on him.Have a good day
  2. That is why many go over the top on him because of those threads. I guess if you do not read them you wouldn't understand. I agree with you saying it gets frustrating trying to explain in a MB.
  3. Right on man. I like how I am the bad guy all the time, how dare I say anything bad about the all mighty savior, the great playoff QB that took us single handedly to the playoffs and does no wrong. Never the QBs fault in this passing league, always everyone elses. 3 years running. How dare I have a different opinion.
  4. Looking back at this post sure makes me think you were mad. You called me a few things in this post that I didn't point out but man you sure sounded mad. If you haven't seen the million Tyrod love fest threads I don't know what to tell you. I like to see both sides of a coin but in those threads when something negative would've been posted said poster would get attacked and called names. You still sound mad bro.
  5. I agree man, good post. With it being a playoff game the game plan is more complex, the players need to step there play but IMO Tyrod missed the boat in his film study. They had practice all week and failed when it was time to do it. Without execution the team has nothing but when a QB didn't study enough simple plays that could have been a plus turn into a negative. Clarity in here for sure is frustrating. Haha, I am not one to defend him that's for sure. As you are sick of the negative I am sick of the over the top threads of him being compared to the greats of the game for the last few years. So I will end this on a final note, it is a QB driven league and a teams offense is driven by said QB, when the offense fails to drive I point to the driver. Have a good day man thanks for the convo.
  6. I seen a report the other day that Denver was eyeing up Rudolph and could move back a few slots then grab him before Buffalos pick.
  7. Well I am sorry too man, I thought we were having a conversation and I pulled the quotes from the article so you could see what i was seeing. I thought I answered your bold as to why I thought IMO that blame should be on Tyrod for not doing enough film study to notice a tendency the Jags do. Never assume because hey it makes a ___ out of you and me is the assume saying. Have a good day man sorry I got you so mad.
  8. Yes please let's be reasonable. Hey man I took quotes from the article. I blame him because basic stuff for a good QB is to study what the D is doing and if our OC missed it the QB should have seen it if he did his homework IMO. One more Quote from aritcle: As a fan and analyst of the team, watching this film was very disappointing. As McCoy stated, this was a winnable game. It was a game in which the offense had enough in the playbook to win. In fact, they had a lot of the concepts and personnel to do some damage. In my opinion, there were just too many plays left on the field to put the blame on the game plan. Taylor’s tendency to hold on to the ball and not pull the trigger left some easy yardage on the field. My comment. So I am sorry you did not like my comment man but to answer your bold this quote really gets me. Quote: I find it very difficult to stomach how the offense isn’t seeing the hand signals by the Jags.
  9. Dave did you go to the link? You say how do I single Tyrod out, see below. From the link. Quote: Taylor was fooled by the Jaguars on several occasions. This caused him to lock on to specific targets rather than letting the coverage dictate where the ball goes. Quote: Not only did Taylor struggle processing coverages, but when plays were open he or his teammates missed opportunities. Quote: Another first down play action call that is there, but Taylor fails to take what the defense gives him. Quote: They gave Taylor the keys to the offense, allowed him to read the defense and make the decisions to run or pass, often referred to as run/pass options. Quote: Taylor also missed a very nice window on this dig route to WR Kelvin Benjamin. Quote: On this play, Jones gets some separation, but the ball isn’t thrown accurately enough for Jones to catch it. Instead, he has to wait on the ball and it allows the defender to make a play. Was the defender there early? Sure, but a better pass and that doesn’t even occur. My comment: This one shows his film study IMO considering it is what Jags and I Quote:(The signals have been the same the entire season.) . A QB is suppose to study what a D has a been doing in other games, Sure maybe the OC should have seen it but does this QB notice anything to help his OC and offense?. Good film study makes a good QB: Quote: .On the final drive and possibly Taylor’s last play as a Buffalo Bill, he again misses a pass to the flat versus the very same ‘Palms’ coverage the Jags played earlier in the game on the interception. I find it very difficult to stomach how the offense isn’t seeing the hand signals by the Jags. When the defenders show their palms to the sky it signaled ‘Palms’ coverage (the following play), and when they point to the sky it was Cover 3. The signals have been the same the entire season. Quote: Taylor’s tendency to hold on to the ball and not pull the trigger left some easy yardage on the field. Quote: Taylor’s decisions and shortcomings were all evident in the biggest game for the Bills in the last 17 years.
  10. IMO First off trade Tyrod if at all possible before his bonus, if no takers dump him. Next pick up a cheap vet, I don't care who they will only be here to mentor and maybe start a few games at most if they outplay Peterman. Draft. Try to trade up to get the QB of choice. Mine is Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield, Rudolph. Depending on who will determine how much they need to move up, if any. Any of those 4 should be ready to start a few games into the season IMO so the question would be IMO who starts the season Peterman or the Vet. By game 3 or 4 the new rookie should be ready to start. IMO this would be a great setup because we would have 2 QBs on rookie contracts and a vet on a cheap contract. Sure it will be a learning season for our QBs but after Tyrods 54 yard games it would have to be pretty bad for any QB not to be able to do better. Just because Peterman had a tough game in LA does not show he is a horrible QB it shows he needs more work and hopefully will be ready for this next season. I would rather them take a step back this coming season finding a QB over the overpaying on a vet that is either old or crappy like Tyrod. Tyrod is not a mentor and is not worth half of the money owed to him this coming season. I doubt any team will be interested in a trade for him. If Smith isn't a expensive trade I would stand behind it otherwise why waste the money and a draft pick for him if all he is going to do is play a few games then get replaced. Watson did not start game one but came in during the season and lit up the league, I will be hopeful our new QB also has some very good success. Use that Tyrod,MD money and fill this team up with good players from FA. Go Bills Edit. I did not include Cousins because IMO he will be looking for a huge amount of money and IMO is a very good QB that I would love here but IMO he is not worth the zillions he will want. Either he gets overpaid in Washington or some other team pays the ransom hopefully it is not the Bills.
  11. Good read thanks for sharing. Shows Denn called a good game and the execution was a fail. IMO Also shows Tyrod didn't do enough homework on noticing the Jags hand signals because if he did he would have known what they were calling with those signals. Tyrod has bad throws and reads but also shows he doesn't study. IMO Tyrod is just not good enough, I hope this is his last season. It was a playoff game a team needs to add wrinkles to the game plan to get the win, too bad the QB can only run a short bus scheme.

  13. IMO, trade values. Tyrod.......zero with current contract Glenn.......3rd Lawson...3rd Hughes...3rd
  14. I would love them getting Rudolph even though I really want them to move up for Darnold/Rosen.
  15. I said minor upgrade because IMO it won't take much to duplicate Tyrods 2017 season or even beat it. I want more, I want a chance at a top 10 QB and I want the Bills to go all in getting one. I do not want a minor upgrade, IF all i wanted was minor upgrade I would be asking for Fitz to return over Tyrod. If they want Rosen/Darnold make the trades we have been waiting long enough for OBD to go all in on a franchise worthy QB. I would love either I am also in the just move up a little and grab Mayfield/Rudolph. IMO Allen has bust potential and Jackson is another running QB no thanks. I agree man pull the trigger and get it done. Time to take a real shot at one. The fit the scheme idea I think is a knock on the running QB like Jackson. He needs a running scheme over the traditional pocket passer that could work in the majority of schemes. I think what he should have said was we want a pocket passer over the running first type. Just my opinion on the interview.
  16. I agree Josh Allen has the physical tools (6-foot-5, 230 pounds) that make scouts drool. But when someone looks good getting off the bus but not as good on the field in games, teams need to more seriously evaluate the risks. Scouting and production are best when they work together. Allen has high bust potential because he was not productive this year, and teams should be very careful in justifying why it went wrong.
  17. No thank you on Allen. Josh Allen has the physical tools (6-foot-5, 230 pounds) that make scouts drool. But when someone looks good getting off the bus but not as good on the field in games, teams need to more seriously evaluate the risks. Scouting and production are best when they work together. Allen has high bust potential because he was not productive this year, and teams should be very careful in justifying why it went wrong.
  18. . Drafting QBs is like the lottery, you have to be in it to win it. Teams want the top of the class prospects and to get one you need to spend. Life is not simple and if you just give up on getting better you will never succeeded in life so you will never stop working at Burger King because hey at least it is a job and moving on is just too hard because hey you could end up a bum with no job at all. SMH If you want better you have to take the chance and go get it. It is not like Tyrod is a top QB, he is the leader of one of the worse passing teams in the league. Just a minor upgrade at QB would have had us winning that Jacksonville game not stuck with just a FG.
  19. To draft I want them to move up for Darnold or Rosen. If not then have a modest move up and try for Mayfield/Rudolph. I wouldnt mind Smith as long as they still draft a top pick like Rudolph. ABT, anybody but Tyrod that ship has sunk. Tyrod is no mentor, I would take Fitz back over Tyrod (not that i want him)considering how smart Fitz is and how I would think he would be a teacher of the game over Tyrod teaching how to hold a towel on his head.
  20. I do not think Cousins is a option I do not think Washington will let him go. So that leaves a top draft pick because other options in FA or trade wont happen IMO unless Smith is traded for. I can see a drafted QB a cheap vet and Peterman. They all compete for the starter roll and then the new top drafted QB taking over after a few games. What I was saying about Peterman is he is no different then Tyrod in needing development, Tyrod sat for 4years but yet Peterman starts against a top D in his rookie season and gets crushed and you point to him like he was a top drafted QB after 4 years of development that should have been better. All I am saying is a cheap rookie contract for him will have him at least sitting on the roster getting developed. I see zero chance Peterman is not on the roster next season. He will be at least the #3 QB. If they draft Allen this team will be waiting for a franchise worthy QB for another decade. Allen is not a QB that will start on any team for years IMO, he needs way too much work.
  21. When the QB is not good enough it is what happens. Tyrod was never good enough, 4 years of sitting and learning , 3 years as a starter and still is not good enough. He has regressed because he is not good enough and when you have a limited short bus scheme for your limited QB it is less that teams have to use to stop him. I hate the "we made him be a QB", sure would be nice to have a QB teams are worried to make a QB not laugh at.
  22. So Tyrod sits on the bench for 4 years not good enough to start for the team that drafted him but Peterman gets grilled for starting his rookie season. Come on man, Peterman is on this roster next season on that rookie contract IMO.
  23. That one 300 took 5 quarters so is he in the 1% that only got one but yet did it with a extra quarter? I would like to add 4 years of solid development in Baltimore so he is NFL ready. Can you imagine if he didn't get that time on the bench?
  24. If only we had a egg at QB that wouldn't crack under pressure.
  25. Haha, right on man.
