  1. Honest question? You have admitted to not watch any college ball but yet you call Mayfield as the best if the bunch, he excites you the most. How is it he excites you the most out of all of them, is it highlight videos? Truth is IMO he is a polarizing QB and he should be one of the choices for QB but for you to be so sure while not being one that watches college ball it makes it hard for me to understand how your so sure of your choice out of these top 3. Truth is IMO any of the top 3, Darnold, Rosen,Mayfield would be fun here. I watch college ball and for me to call any of these 3 better then the other is hard to do. All 3 excite me so any of these 3 please. If none of these 3 Rudolph is my 4th choice for draft value of not moving up, size and over all talent of his career in college ball at QB. Allen is a talent but needs a bunch of work just like Jackson who is more of a runner then QB and I think many fans have had enough of the inaccurate run first QB. So honest question, why you all in on Mayfield now over Darnold,Rosen?
  2. I agree but this is just throwing ideas around.
  3. I love the idea of taking two with 21-22 If both were one of the top 6 from this draft. You find the one you like the most and sell the other for a kings ransom, sure it does not add to this year's roster but it give us two real chances to land the better one while the other gives us our draft pick and then some back IMO. Maybe even trade him during this draft for more picks, player and a 1st in next year's draft. To have 3 QBs on rookie contracts fighting to be the franchise guy is something this team has never done. With QB stock at a premium buy low sell high. Rudolph and Allen is a possibility. Doubt it would happen but one hell of a idea IMO. Peterman would end up backup to whomever wins the battle IMO with the other being traded at a maximum price. Of course two would have to be there at 21-22, highly unlikely but man that sure would get another team mad thinking they would get one of them after the Bills pick and boom we take both..
  4. Sorry if you did not get mine. I just hate the topic every season and went a little off. I picked your comment because it was right on, sorry if you think I was pointing at you or something. Happy weekend
  5. Here we go again, next year's class is better. Same old talk always wait for the QB because the next class is better. Truth is the team will always have big needs at other positions and IMO they can be filled in FA but QB has to be done in the draft and done early unless you already have a franchise QB. A drafted QB is cheaper in the contract. Enough waiting and enough with the next year's class talk. This year has plenty of good prospects early and we have plenty of picks to move up, just do it.
  6. I agree that NO way a team trades for that contract unless maybe the Bills pay the big bonus first and even that has a very slim chance of happening.
  7. He is cheaper and will be used as a bridge, I fully expect them to draft a QB early to develop behind him. Wash did what they had to, they will be good this year and for many to come by what they did. IMO
  8. Draft a QB early and build around the kid. Drafting other positions first will just lead to them leaving after a few seasons like Watkins,MD and so on. We need a QB first to learn and build around. So sick of OBD waiting around for a franchise worthy QB to fall in the draft or to find one on another teams backup pile. Good teams draft QBs while Buffalo does not and ends up with the longest playoffless streak in NFL history. Thank god that is gone, thank you Cinci. So many wasted seasons of this team needing so many players with lame excuses every off season to wait to draft a QB, the next draft has better prospects, there is no sure fire QB, wait till later in the draft said player will still be there and bla, bla, bla. Just stop it, go get a top talent in this draft at QB, go get what you want not wait and hope he falls to you. No excuses, if OBD screws this draft up by not taking a QB early again this staff deserves to be fired by year 3. Got a top 6 to pick from a very QB friendly draft so to not take one 1st or to move up for a better one would be a epic fail once again for OBD. It would be nice to have a QB other teams don't game plan to make him be a QB. We all want a QB to be proud of, go get us a real talent at QB not some other teams backup with hopes to build a team first then hope the magic sky drops a franchise worthy QB in the next draft. Sick of waiting, do it this year, do it now.
  9. Right on man, It is like saying well Tyrod did not turnover the ball in said drive even though the team punted on said drive. It is still a turnover to the other team just not in the same terms. COT still working hard at preaching reason of Tyrod fail. Glory B it was everyone else
  10. To each his own opinion I guess. I do not like Jackson or Allen at all on this team let alone in the 1st for any team. Funny how both have many scouts saying they are first rounders, goes to show how some scouts opinions are so far off from each other. IMO Rudolph is a better talent then both.
  11. I agree both were screw up picks but at least with EJ we got a Kiko. He is a much better prospect then either of those two IMO. To reach a little(to stay pat and take him without moving up is a great value IMO) to get him over missing on him waiting into the second is why Whaley never landed one good QB from the draft. Teams value on QBs are at a all time high so IMO teams will move up and reach esspecialy if they see QB needy teams waiting to grab him into the second. Sadly at 21-22 is the best shot to make sure they do not miss on getting him. If you wait for max draft value on a QB you will miss out on him everytime IMO.
  12. I like it but I do not like Mayfield with the Jests Won't be available in the second IMO and many others. If they really want a QB you take him the first chance you get otherwise you get Whaleys purgatory of late round garbage because of his logic to wait too long.
  13. Good job but what about Brees and Foles won the SB. Hell even Cutler had some better games, Tyrods numbers were more on par with backup QB stats IMO. Protect the ball and let the rest of the team win it, exactly what a backup is taught.
  14. I like him as well but great ? He will be a late bloomer in the NFL IMO so you need him to sit around a long while to capitalize on him to be real good but I'm not sold on great.
  15. IMO Rosen........hit, franchise QB Darnold.....hit, franchise QB Mayfield....hit, franchise QB Rudolph....hit, franchise QB Allen.....miss. Reminds me of Cutler type, very hot cold, will sit year one. Even after that year of sitting in the NFL the bust talk comes out after many see first hand his bad games even though his best games are great. Ok QB but not a franchise QB you can rely on enough to be championship caliber. Jackson....miss. Has some real nice games running around but injuries because of being a runner first put him out of league. Sits year one. Starts a franchise type QB year 2 but ends out of league by end of 4 on IR. White .....hit,miss. Will take years before he ever gets a chance to start, could be a big hit after 2-3 years of development to end up a franchise worthy QB if all goes well for him. Falk...... hit, miss. Another guy that needs to sit 2-3 years to see what you have. Big development QBs are tough to call. Miss because of sitting so long for team drafting him but hit to second team. Lauletta and Litton..... hit, miss Development type, sit for first team good for second team as a backup or possible starter if all goes well for them.
  16. If your QB only throws very low percentage throws all the time and your RB/ D carries your team any backup QB can get you 9 wins. This is a perfect, haha.
  17. . I agree man but IMO Rudolph will be long gone by 22. . . No thank you on the running QB. I want a true pocket passer that can read the entire field, not pick one target to look at find he is covered and then run with it all the time. Running first QBs are always hurt in the NFL, if you want to run more get better RBs to do that part. It is hard enough to keep a QB healthy but to make him a big runner increases the problem even more. .
  18. IMO It is not a COT type of blind fan boy lovefest for NP as in with the Taylor boys. It is that the kid showed spark, he is also on a rookie contract so to have him progress and fill in a few games till the new rookie drafted this year is ready is fine with many, including me. To have our QBs on rookie contracts it gives this team money to spend this year so it helps with the money being still spent on released players while cleaning the cap for next season. IMO let NP and the new kid from 2018 draft play it out this season and then since they are both on rookie contracts it will free up even more money for next seasons FAs that can be brought in. All about 2019 season IMO. This 2018 season will be more of a step back learning season and cleaning up the cap IMO. The bridge QBs here have done nothing but get in the way of developing or even trying to get a rookie franchise worthy QB. Build around a real talent at QB not a overpriced bridge to nowhere that this team has been stuck in since Kelly. I do like Cousins as a franchise QB and I would like him here but man the money he will want is just way too much for what the Bills would pay IMO. So IMO I say no to the stopgap Sad part about the stopgap QB talk is IMO the COT trying real hard to sell and keep TT by playing the look over here while we play you over there game. COT talks big about moving on from TT by saying, "hey look the other teams bridge is better then ours". So boom you are now on board to a bridge. So they then sell you again since you bit on the bridge idea "why get the other teams bridge we have a bridge in TT already here". IMO the bridge to nowhere is what it is, a bridge with no exit, Fitzmagic baby. SMH
  19. I agree, I think BB and Brady are going to give it one or two more seasons then done IMO.
  20. I agree man. IMO With Whaley it will always come down to his QB purgatory as his biggest blunder.
  21. Pat Many are saying this is a very good draft to take one of the top QBs. With so much dead money in 2018 and this team grabbing a wild card in 2017 they can ride with many on this team now for 2018. Use the extra draft picks to land one of the top talents at QB this year so the rookie can get that grooming season in. Odds of this draft having very good QBs come out it is very good, the time is now.
  22. I would like to see them do it right for once. Build around a franchise worthy QB. IMO. 2018 draft should be all about going all in on a QB other then Rex choice at QB or backup talents from around the league. Move up do whatever they have to land the one they covet. Waiting around for a good QB to drop into there laps is a huge reason why Whaley got fired. Later round picks at QB are huge longshots, go get us a dam QB in round one, enough with Whaleys purgatory. Good teams build around a top talent at QB first, building the rest of the team first will not get you a good QB it will get you good players that will be ready to leave on year 3 for bigger contracts when you decide to add a better QB into the mix. Sadly they never get to that point of going for a better QB because every season this team needs a bunch of players and gives itself excuses as to why they never draft a top QB. Spiller,Watkins, MD and so on, what a waste of 1st round picks. 2018 FA should be interesting but not over the top in spending, just fill in and make do with what is here because spending big money on a 3 year player IMO should be 2019 after a season of the rookie QB bumps in learning while seeing what players go good with his style of play. 2019 is the time to spend bigger in FA while having plenty of draft picks to make this a younger team. 2019 will also have rookie QB from 2018 more seasoned and ready to really compete. Go get us a real talent at QB, one that teams don't laugh at because they made him be a QB.
  23. Yes Rex promoted him to OC,(IMO because nobody else wanted the OC job under Rex or to dumb down there scheme with Tyrod). He was then given HC job when Rex was fired to finish things off. Then the Bills told him they wanted someone else at HC so he was FIRED as HC with the Bills. Word it whatever he was let go. It was a lateral move for him from Bills HC to LA HC, that is NOT a promotion. He also got fired to make the move, the Bills gave him a interview to be nice IMO but offered him nothing to stay.
