Solid post man, They would have to be real lucky to get a 5th round pick and sadly I dont think they will even get that. His market last season was zero with other teams and 2017 he stunk so IMO he isnt worth Bradys deflated balls anymore. Release him and move on. He is under contract with the Bills in 2018 the only way he is a potential free agent is if he is released. Nobody wants to pay 18 mill let alone a franchise tag price of 25 mill. You only tag if not under contract, Taylor is under contract if Bills want to keep him under contract, see the difference?

LOL have you heard Mel Kiper's mock 2.0?
xRUSHx replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sadly this could be true, we could end up in the same OBD way of drafting. I wanted to point to Whaley as the QB purgatory enabler but sadly this could be a OBD issue. If they don't move up we will know who to point at when they miss out on a QB again. I agree by far the worse scenario to happen. -
2016 Sports Illustrated article on Josh Rosen
xRUSHx replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is my top pick for sure but he will be long gone before our move up IMO. -
The biggest thing is finding a partner to trade with to even move up, might have to go a bit lower or higher then they might want to but hey to get one of the top 3 QBs, go for it for once IMO. I like the idea of Cousins because we get to keep all our picks but with dead Tyrod money I think the best option is to go big in the draft and maybe sign a cheap vet. I am still on the fence on who but that depends on where we can move up to. My order of rank for this class. Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield and then Rudolph to take at 21(if he makes it to21). Any one of these 4 otherwise spend it all and get Cousins.

I tend to think Cleveland would be a very attractive spot for him to look at if they rolled out the money truck for him. It is a young team and with keeping all there draft picks this year that team could be ready to roll big time into the playoff picture with the addition of Cousins even though I also agree the Vikes is more then likely his landing spot. Cleveland is a interesting choice though for him IMO.

Trading up with a player during the draft
xRUSHx replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good thread OP. I would think a player type trade would have to happen long before the draft to make sure the trade would be a valid one esspecialy if it is for a higher pick otherwise a team could end up poop out of luck. As is just like a used car, buyer beware. -
Bills to explore trade market for tyrod
xRUSHx replied to The juice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IMO the only team willing to overpay for Tyrod is the team he is on. They overpaid for Fitz so there is a very good chance the trend will continue for OBD with Tyrod. Just like last year no team will want to scrap there scheme to make a special short bus Taylor made scheme, his trade value is zero, ain't nobody buying that, even if we pay the bonus we will only end up stuck with him. The Browns are not the same screw ups anymore IMO, they are going to be correcting past problems so they will get better by drafting a better talent at QB this year and will all of a sudden be a contender while the Bills could continue down the same overpaid backup road desperate to win now mode of waiting for a franchise QB to fall out of the sky while building the rest of the team first. All this time it could have been a OBD purgatory and not the Whaley QB purgatory he was blamed and fired for. We will see come draft time did OBD forced him to purge other teams backup piles over drafting a top talent at QB? If Tyrod remains and no QB is taken in the first round we should all know Whaley was not the problem in finding a better talent at QB it was OBD brass that has held this team back from fixing the most important part. Sadly if Cinci did not help us last season it would have just been another notch in the OBD fail of a never ending groundhogs day. The draft can't come soon enough, sadly we will know how it will shake out before it even starts when either Tyrod stays or goes. OBD or Whaley who was the real problem of this purgatory? We all know how much your Jelly over his likes. -
I can hope, haha. Come on Cleveland Tyrod is perfect for you this year.
-
Bills trade Tyrod and Glen with our 21st this year and our 1st from next to move up to Cleveland's #1 slot. Bills grab Rosen and make the playoffs this year while Cleveland wins 4 games and Tyrod gets cut.

In-Depth Breakdown of Lamar Jackson by Eliot Crist
xRUSHx replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I do not care what he wrote in his opinion of him he is IMO a run first QB, I know this because I have watched him play. This season he has worked on not running as much and to his credit has done better this season as a pocket QB but when the heat comes back on he will revert right back to running like the year before IMO. Jackson will not last in the NFL, he will get creamed running around in the NFL like he does in college IMO. IMO he will be on IR by the end of every season he is a starter. Bill Polian appeared on ESPN LA this week with Keyshawn Johnson, Jorge Sedano, and LZ Granderson. The conversation turned to college quarterbacks and who among the college quarterbacks would be best in the pros. “I don’t think that Lamar, the Louisville kid’s in that discussion". “No, I’m not kidding you. And that has to do with girth and skill set as well.” “You hurting me, Bill,” Keyshawn Johnson then added, “because I think he’s a NFL quarterback.” “I’m not saying he isn’t, I just don’t think he’s in the class of the other three,” Polian said in response. -
NFL Draft QBs Stats based on Defensive Rank

I agree on the system comment and there talent as a receiver but it still boils down to where the ball is placed IMO. We have seen receivers here stink but do well on other teams with better QBs . JS -
NFL Draft QBs Stats based on Defensive Rank
xRUSHx replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Could be said that the better QB made better recievers, ala Brady. Easier to catch a ball on target over ones a foot or two away. Allen/Jackson recievers had to work extra to catch most of those inaccurate throws. -

Excellent thread, Rudolph/Mayfield/Darnold all the way. -
Trade up for a QB a new OBD, trade down and grab a late rounder the same old Whaley purgatory made OBD. So when we added picks for this years draft thinking it will have the Bills going for it at QB it really was nothing but another nothingburger to do the same again and again. TRADE TYROD/ GET BRADFORD/ DRAFT FUTURE
xRUSHx replied to DKBills25's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Trade Tyrod? Maybe for a bag of deflated balls then maybe Brady will want to end his career here. Other then that your not going to get anything for a running QB that can only run a Taylor made simplified system as bad as Tyrod with that contract. -
In-Depth Breakdown of Lamar Jackson by Eliot Crist
xRUSHx replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want the Bills to get a true pocket QB. After all these years of the Tyrod I am sick of the run first mentality. This article does nothing to change my mind on him. No thank you on yet another QB to scream at the TV to throw the dam ball. The NFL will make him be a QB (ala Tyrod) so IMO that running will be taken away so IMO he will have to sit a few years to learn how to be a QB first, maybe in a few seasons of development to be a QB first he will will become something but who wants to wait that long. -
Hey man you asked a question so I asked you a question, I did not mean to sound snippy towards you, sorry if you took it that way. Thank you for your honest answer, nice to see a topic we are both talking about that does not have the last QB name in it we all so often talk about. I agree with your assessment but I tend to really like Rosen as well because of his talent that is unmatched to anyone in this draft IMO. I like all 3 and Rudolph. I would be happy with any of them 4 but I do like Mayfield and Darnold the most. Have a good day
-
I agree with your comparison, I also agree Jackson-Allen yuk. IMO Rudolph has had a solid college career and would be a good pick for value IMO If he is still available at 21. Sadly I think if they wait around to 21 to pick we could miss on possibility the top 6 QBs. Possible yes, likely no. IMO waiting till 21 will have us miss out on the top 3 (Darnold,Rosen,Mayfield) for sure and a big possibility also Rudolph to end up with a choice of Allen or Jackson, yuk. Little crazy to think 6 could go so early but QB value is at a all time high and teams know if your going to spend on anything QB is it. If all these QBs go this early even Falk,White could jump to 2nd rounders. This could be one crazy QB draft for sure. Sadly OBD with the luck and stupidity of trying to wait for maximum value of a QB in a draft for decades now I can see the Bills screwing up yet another draft not taking a QB till the 3rd or 4th after the top 8 are gone to end up with scraps again with QB draft talk set up for 2019 season because all we would have is late rounders in Peterman and 2018 3rd or 4th round scraps to fight for the franchise worthy spot. Will we ever have a franchise worthy QB? Is this staff different or is the Whaley win now who cares about the future still OBD way of running things that have produced one wild card (thank you Dalton)after the longest playoffless drought ever in the NFL. If Tyrod is given the bonus I think we will have our answer.
