In-Depth Breakdown of Lamar Jackson by Eliot Crist
xRUSHx replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Look at those legs, he will be on IR faster then Watson was his first season for sure. -
It's been so nice having a QB teams game plan to make a QB, I love when we can only get 3 points in a big game. To have a new OC every season makes this offense great. Why would we want a QB that teams are afraid to be a QB. SMH, the never ending quest at OBD to find a franchise worthy QB without accualy trying for one. Look up in the sky its a bird, no its a plane, no its a franchise worthy QB coming.....splat, nope just a late round QB here to flop like all the rest over the last decade. Were good here we got Tyrod the best of all the wonderful QBs since Kelly. Chan/Fitz 2.0 I am sure this will last just as long. The bridge with no exit. Thanks Rex you are so smart at finding great QBs.

Scroney legs Jackson and never throw it Tyrod, oh the future looks so bright. Run Tyrod run, run Jackson run. They can take turns on the IR while we continue with a new OC every season. Hopefully Cinci will give us that wild card again.

I can not see the Jags wanting Tyrod after seeing first hand what he did in the playoffs, I think they will stay with Bortles and that is for sure the better option IMO. The other teams maybe and that's a BIG maybe. I think this is OBD telling teams look man we will pay the bonus give us a pick for it or help us move up in a pavkage deal. If no bites before it is due they just dont pay it and dump him to let teams just fight over his rights and said teams end up paying even more for him in FA if Tyrod would even pick said team. It costs us 6mill to get a pick but also helps make it happen, just gets me mad if they pay it and get stuck with him for 2018 season just to add to 2019 dead cap hit he is no mentor that is for sure.

I am ready to jump man. OBD stupid ways of the constant backup QBs does nothing but get all the staffs fired over and over again. If they keep Tyrod another season it wasn't Whaleys QB purgatory it was OBDs. I hear ya it's early but sadly I have been expecting this stupid garbage to continue the entire time with this new staff when Tyrod was brought back last season. Hey maybe OC#4 or 5. SMH

Well you got that he is not even relevant right. Haha, I just LOLed when you said it was the funnest game you watched and it didn't include your boy.
-
You need a team the will give one pick let alone two. What I am saying is NOBODY will give even a box of donuts for him so what will happen is the Bills will be stuck in 2018 not only overpaying at 18 but now with this weirdness of a thread will pay a extra 7 mill, why because NO TEAM wants him even at 18 so the Bills will be stuck with him at 25. I can see OBD buying into the stupidity of this thread just to get stuck paying even more then the original contract, it is OBD way. Great job Russ this thread is for you

Really? You had the most fun in years watching a game that did not include Tyrod, haha

2017 Draft - A missed opportunity
xRUSHx replied to Cubanmist 1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You talking about a QBs abilities that he should be able to be a QB? I agree it sure would be nice to have a QB teams worry about him being a QB over the one we have now that teams force to be one and he ends up with a FG after a full game. QBs do not fall from the sky, if they want one they have to go get him, I sure hope this is the off season we get a QB that can be a QB. -
So with this thread if the Bills keep Tyrod on the roster in 2018 in hopes of trading him why not get stuck paying him 25 mill and not 18 mill, it is the OBD way of thinking for sure. I can see OBD thinking they have a piece of gold in Tyrod everyone wants, sadly that piece of gold is really a piece of something else and truth is IMO they will get stuck holding it all season since other teams know it's fool's gold and will stay far away from any type of trade for 18mill let alone 25mill.

2017 Draft - A missed opportunity

They missed the boat on Watson for sure, jury still out on Mahomes but that's two strikes if he also lights up the league. I wish my team had a real QB. -
Who is your choice for Bills starting QB in 2018 and why?
xRUSHx replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would be ok with Fitz on a cheap mentor contract to help the 1st round rookie along but not as the overpaid journeyman starter. Jackson gets penalized IMO because he is too scrawny, no lower half of his body while Mayfield has good size down low to take the hits. Jackson's game is about running, I can see his legs getting broken many times in his NFL career. -

Yes I like him and feel he could be a very good starting QB in the NFL. To have a chance for him without moving up is great but that is a huge risk to hope for him to be there, IMO yes he could be there but also a team could jump us in a move up to take him right before us. It is a big risky move but if it is all said and done with no move up to keep all our picks I am very ok with Rudolph. I am not in support of Allen or Jackson for the Bills at all. Allen has bust written all over him IMO and Jackson will get crushed running around in the NFL and will be lucky to survive his first contract IMO. I really want a move up for Rosen,Darnold or Mayfield, that is my top choice for this team regardless of what it costs. Mayfield is a very interesting prospect that could cost a little less then Rosen/Darnold but who knows some team could value him higher then the other two. I really want a QB to be proud of and any of these 4 has me really excited for the Bills future. -

Rosen,Darnold, Mayfield, Rudolph or Cousins. Why? Because IMO they are very talented. Also they are not a backup QB from another team. -
Hey man step away from the big picture and reduce it to a smaller one. Tyrod is under contract for 2018 for 18 mill so there is zero reason for the Bills to franchise him so they would get stuck paying 25 mill. Teams franchise a player that is not under contract. Let's take your car scenario, to franchise him would be like going to sell your car and you want to sell it for more then 18 mill so you go to the bank and give them 7 million more and then tell everyone see my car is now worth 25 mill. Would be great if you find a buyer but the problem is nobody wanted your car at 18 mill so at 25 you just gave 7 mill away for no reason.

Why would Jax want Tyrod? As bad as Bortles is he is 10xs the QB Tyrod will ever be.
