Rap Sheet: Bills pursuing Bradford for deal
xRUSHx replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they moved up just to draft Allen and sign Bradford it takes the excitement right out of all these off season moves IMO. -
What a fail if they intend to draft Allen to sit around he is not a day one starter. If they are going Allen who is the expensive Vet that will be starting this year. I just can not see Allen as the target, they talked to Rudolph more then Allen if anything he is more of a target to sit around year one then Allen IMO. Only choice in a move up for a day one starter is Darnold,Rosen or Mayfield IMO.
-
Most experts know that Allen needs a bunch of work and is in no way a day one starter so if our scouts can not see that and the Bills move up to the top 4 for Allen a QB that will have to sit 2 years all the scouts need to be fired. Move to the top 4 for Darnold,Rosen or Mayfield anybody else and all this moving up is a big fail IMO

With the 12th Pick Bills select
xRUSHx replied to USABuffaloFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right on man -
My 1st round QB pick in order of want. 1)Rosen 2)Darnold 3)Mayfield 4)Rudolph 2nd round if that's what they do. Allen-Jackson, don't want either would rather have White,Falk or Lauletta. Allen will be a bust and Jackson will be broken in half before his first contract is finished IMO.

Props to McBeane, haters! (part deux)

Man I am freaking out, working out perfectly if the plan truly is a top 3 pick. I want news we are in the top 3 now, I don't know if I can hold out much longer. -

Trade us into one of the top 3 picks to draft Darnold,Rosen or Mayfield and he has me doing back flips. -
Dude every kid drafted in any position comes with some kind of insecurities. SMH at how some posters wanting to continue to fill this roster the Whaley way while not going all in on a QB first and this is a very good QB class, SMH. When will some poster realize this is a QB driven league. I am so sick of the posters crying about this team needing so many positions but is ok to use some scrub QB in the most important position. A franchise worthy QB will not fall from the sky you need to either spend to go draft one or stink up the league to get to the top of the draft or you will never have one.
-
IMO If they want this team to be great they need to go and get a franchise worthy QB to make that dynasty possible. This team has a nasty track record of second hand QBs with staffs fired every few seasons always trying to build the team while using a bottom feeder QB. IMO the choice will not only be his our owner will want a top QB drafted and IMO when he hired this staff told them flat out you go and draft a top 3 rookie within the 1st 2 drafts because IMO if they were looking to just use a second hand QB they should have just stayed with second hand Tyrod. Not good enough is just not good enough

Was The Tyrod Taylor Era a Success?
xRUSHx replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who cares he is gone. Hey hey hey goodbye!! -
He could easily flip the script this year and go all in on getting one of the top QBs and then next season's draft go back to it, besides even with trading those picks he would still have a somewhat normal draft. IMO it's a no brainer to get to the top of the draft if MCD wants to build this team the right way, around a top QB first.

Do you REALLY THINK our GM & HC will trade UP?
xRUSHx replied to Punt75's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Excellent post -
Risk reward? Reward is finding a talent at QB for the next 15 years. Risk is drafting a boat load of other positions that fail to make enough difference for your team to make them a powerhouse. You want a powerhouse you get a QB. Look at NE without a great QB the dynasty is nothing. Remember when we had a top D how did that go in our playoff hunt? Like I said earlier you either stink up the league for a season to get one of the top QBs or you trade assets to move up but it still comes down to getting a better talent at QB because without one your team is just not good enough.
-
What makes you think this draft will make a legion of boom? The boom had a talent at QB, without the QB the boom is more of a snap crackle pop. I would hate to see them continue to build the Whaley way that thinks building the team before finding a QB will create a powerhouse when all it does is create players leaving after the first contract and the forever talk of wishing we had a better QB while having the longest playoffless streak. What happens if they pick another Maybin? How about listing all position busts from the 1st, no position is a lock from the 1st IMO

Post Tyrod Life: Trading Up Stats & Some Opinions
xRUSHx replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Goes to show teams will spend to try for one even if said class is not well represented. Your list also shows some classes are better then others. IMO this is a very good QB class and lucky for us we have more then 2 to pick from. Got to buy a ticket in the lottery if you want to win it. -
Its a QB driven league and teams know this. You either stink up the league to get your franchise worthy QB pick or you gut and trade to get your franchise worthy QB pick, eitherway without one your just not good enough. A good run team will go all in on getting one or your team forever rides the there is always next year talk wishing for a miracle out of a QB not talented enough to get the job done. A franchise worthy QB is truly the only way to have that championship team every season, it is like the lottery if you do not invest in a ticket you will never win. Excellent post Doc

This is gold, made the trade without paying that bonus. I could not be happier today.

Reasons why we shouldn’t trade off our draft picks.
xRUSHx replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly, A good run team needs to build around a solid QB first without one it just doesn't matter. Do what you have to do to get one this year. It should have been done last year but I am ok with how they built up this draft capital to get ammo to get it done this year. IMO use the draft capital this year for the QB and continue to clean up the roster with a FA or two while dumping a few others, use this year to clean and get that QB. Next year draft the BPA and fill in with top FAs because of all the money available after the cleaning. I am all in on this staff if they put QB at top of list to get otherwise this staff looks no different then years past waiting for a franchise worthy QB to fall from the sky while using other teams backups as a starting QB. You go draft a better QB or you get fired, it's that simple in this QB driven league IMO. A QB will make or break a staff. Tyrod has broke every OC he had while getting a full staff fired as well. -
Adam Schein Predicts Where the UFA and Draft QBs Land
xRUSHx replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Jets get Rosen and we get Jackson this team is truly forever cursed. If they are just going to draft Tyrod 2.0 why bother even drafting a QB in the 1st. Skrony legs Jackson will never finish a full season in the NFL IMO. -
I like it

Would you trade Hughes+picks to Giants for 2nd?
